The service was friendly and efficient. Our server was very polite. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, for our food, or for the bill. The clam chowder was filling and yummy. I really like the garlic bread. The steak, asparagus, and french fries were good. They definitely go light on the salt and spices. It was nice to look out at the water while we dined. Very nice place for a Valentine's day dinner.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, we waited 20 minutes before our server asked for our drinks, in that time he served a table that was next to us and they arrived after us and we had a reservation. Took another 15 minutes to receive our drink, then another 30 minutes for our meal.

I ordered the pasta with salmon with added prawns. I was told the prawns were $2 each extra because they were prawns when I received it the prawns where small shrimp and the salmon was salty and the pasta sauce watery. It was very disappointing. My friend did enjoy her cocktail

We came on a beautiful day and enjoyed the view very much! Right on the marina with lots of boats.

The food was very good and the menu varied enough to suit almost any palate.

The service was outstanding and we may make this our regular place to go every Sunday - loved it - thank you so much!

Been going to Quinn's for many years. The quality of the food has gone down over the past couple of years. I believe their menu is too large to sustain and keep good ingredients in house. Most HAS to be frozen. They need to revamp and focus on the their best dishes that have the chance of keeping the freshest produce, seafood, and meats. The menu could be a third the size and still attract a wide variety of diners.

Great dining choice for all-day service if eating a late lunch or early dinner. We were on the way to the Warriors game and it was perfect. Easy to park. Good food. Good service. Nice ambiance. Not insanely crowded and noisy.

Two of my friends and I had dinner at Quinn's on a Thursday night. We were promptly seated, the service was very good, and the food was filling and tasty. This is one of the few restaurants on SF Bay that has a dock so boaters can boat to the restaurant; we took advantage of that and very much appreciate Quinn's for that reason. We ate in the downstairs restaurant, which has plenty of windows for a great view towards Alameda and Coast Guard Island. We did not get upstairs, where there is reputed to be a great pub with even better views. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this restaurant. I definitely plan to go back.

I love this spot, great food. Service could improve a little, ordered a drink and had to ask for it twice. Meal was complete by the time I received it and it was time for the after meal coffee.

One of the best things about Quinn's is the variety of its menu. It's a good place for a group. There is something on the menu for everyone. Just be sure to make reservations via Open Table!

Quinn's is a bit quirky, old-fashioned - but in a good way. Great spot to look out onto the water and enjoy an non-rushed, down-home meal! The service was attentive and knowledgeable.
Two of our party ordered seafood stew - they were both too hot to eat, they kept putting ice cubes from the water glasses into the stew so that they could eat it. If you order that, remember to tell them 'not too hot' (as in temperature - not spice).

Great spot to just chill and not be rushed.

We arrived just before opening time and were taken care of immediately. The food (shrimp/prawn louie and Fish & Chips) and service were great. We sat overlooking the water/marina. Had a wonderful time.

After making reservations at a nearby restaurant and being seated in the noisy bar instead of the dining room, we changed our plans. The waiter at Quinn's was gracious and accomodating and we loved the food!!

We went there on New Year’s Eve and it seemed like they were understaffed . The host was taking drinking and food orders. When the food came it was warm at best. Won’t be going there again for a while .

They were amenable to us changing our reservation, even though it was a busy holiday seating. Salmon was delicious, as was clam chowder (best I've ever tasted). My husband was pleased with his prawns. All in all, a successful evening.

Visited twice in a week for dinner before Warriors games--a good spot for that. Plenty of street parking, plus a lot across the street. Dockside location is very nice, inside is very comfortable. Large and varied menu, emphasis on seafood. Food and service was good, but not great. Good value. Kitchen seemed a bit slow. Decent wine list, reasonable corkage ($12). Will definitely make this a regular place to go before Warriors and A's games--5 minute drive to Coliseum/Arena.

My wife and I are big fans of Quinn's Lighthouse. It may have been around for many years, but it still surprises people with its beautiful location above a quiet marina down the Embarcadero several miles from downtown Oakland. I can recommend the mussels and clams, my friends enjoyed the jambalaya and cioppino. My wife loves the fish and chips, I go back and forth between the paella and the seafood linguini. The service is warm and friendly, the portions are enormous, and you can always count on a good meal.

I came on a Sunday morning. It wasn't too packed and our waiter gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. He was very accommodating and told us the specials of the day without us having to ask. The sourdough french toast was tasty and very filling. I chose to have some bacon on the side. The side of fruit was actually fresh and had kiwi and mango which I have never seen but appreciate. My guests all had a good experience as well and enjoyed the fresh bread served at our table.

Quinn's has lost it's warmth and gone frozen - frozen shrimp, frozen fish, frozen fries etc etc.

After an absence of 15 years we returned to an old favorite, Quinn's Lighthouse to celebrate my brother-in-law's 75th birthday. I remembered it as a pretty good place, nothing really fancy, but the food was always consistently good and reasonably priced. What a difference a decade and a half makes.

The fish and chips were not even Cod or Halibut, but frozen "white fish" overcooked and greasy along with a batch of fries that tasted like they were fished out of the bottom of the fryer. The coleslaw was packaged and probably came with the sauce they poured on top. The saddest part was they charged $18 for this mess. The waiter was nice, but never once acknowledged my brother-in-laws birthday. Even the dessert was awful - an obvious frozen cheesecake served with Maraschino cherries from the bar on top. And that was $8!

I have heard from friends that they like it and maybe it was an off night. Even so, $18 for a frozen batch of fish and chips is a ridiculous price to pay even if they had properly prepared it
