We had a great time. The waiter was very courteous and the food was amazing. Great view!
Fish and chips was a joke. OLD cabbage shriveled up with dressing on it. I think the cooks/and owner should maybe take a basic cooking class. Nice place; unkempt but nice views, but would never order anything to eat there.
The food portions were generous. My pasta was good. I had asked for a special table as it was my boyfriend’s retirement dinner after 30 years in the coast guard. They gave us a great table. Everyone enjoyed their meal, particularly the crab cakes. Highly recommended.
Our waiter was outstanding. I only wish I remembered his name but he has been there a long time and his art is on display at the restaurant, including the faux aquarium and hanging mobile. He brought me a piece of delicious lemon cake for my birthday. Scrumptious!
I had the seafood Newburg which was delicious. My son enjoyed the salmon. The portions were big and the food was great. The service was prompt and cordial. I had not been to this restaurant in 30 years. We realized the last time we were there we took a photo of my son and his grandmother who died in 1996. We will definitely be bringing guests there from now on.
My wife and I had a fantastic time! Everything about this place was perfect, even the sunset over Mt. Tamalpais. Service was fast and friendly, ambiance was waterfront casual, the menu was extensive and not expensive, and the food was amazing. Locals love this place, and so did we.
I had made reservations 2 weeks prior for mothers day. They gave me a seat upstairs never being upstairs it was so dirty and loud nothing like sitting upstairs this ruined our mother's day
I love Quinn’s Lighthouse. The food is delicious and the service is superb,
I was very happy to take my mother to Quinn's Lighthouse for Mother's Day. The waiter was excellent. The food was great! The only issue I had was that an error on my order was made twice so I finally ate what they brought me. However they they compensated me with an extra drink and dessert. It was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely go back!
We were early and seated however, no one recognized us but the Mater De. Had to ask for water when other tables got water automatically. Not impressed with the service but, the food was very good and hot. Will return with hopefully better service.
I have been going to Quinn's once or twice a year for about two decades. I highly recommend it as a pub. I need to downgrade my opinion of it as a restaurant .
The ambiance is great and the staff is amazing. What seems to have gone downhill is anything we ordered that wasn't fried. The eggs benedict had a flavorless hollandaise sauce and the eggs arrived with a hard boiled center. The Mahi Mahi was overcooks and was sitting in an orange sauce that wasn't compelling. It is a pub but if you put something on the menu and charge $27 it should be good.
I've gone to Quinn's about 2-3 times a year for the last decade. I like the food and the service very much. For medical reasons, I asked to substitute the rice or potatoes or pasta with just plain vegetables and my request was obliged without any problem. The dry chardonnay was very good. Our waiter was very attentive, even though it was Saturday night and very crowded. I rarely go on a Saturday night, so this time we had a very noisy table two down from my friend and me, such that it was hard for us to hear each other. But this is not the fault of the restaurant, but a minority of its patrons. Too bad, but next time I will hit it on a week night. I wouldn't stop going to Quinn's for anything. I love the ambience (minus a noisy group of diners) and the view is superb, too.
My husband and I loved it!!!
We were there during Happy Hour so the beers were the big ones and eating peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor reminded us of a place we used to go when we were dating.
The appetizer and our dinners were fantastic!
I've already told many of our friends about this place and would love to organize a group trip to Quinn's.
Outstanding service and views! A varied menu that has something for all palettes - we love this casual place!
Excellent location along the waterfront. Excellent and friendly service. Great tasting food. I've been eating here off and on for many years and will continue to so. This place definitely is a Bay Area gem!
Hadn't been to Quinn's for a number of years as we moved out of the area. We met our family there to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was ideal. We will definitely make the drive again to eat here. Our family also enjoyed themselves very much. Our wait person was beyond excellent!
Great place, a family favorite for the service and ambiance. The food is fine but not amazing
Beautiful day for lunch on the deck overlooking the little harbor. Cobb salad was delish!
View and service were great. If you want a quiet place for lunch, this would be the place. I had mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. There was no flavor and I had to eat 2 baskets of bread to drown the sauce. However our waiter was very pleasant.
I was disappointed in the filet of salmon. One of the other guests said that the chicken in the salad was dry. The server was very pleasant and accommodating and efficient but the food was disappointing. Same reaction from a colleague at work. Sorry to see this as I have gone there for many years and have pretty much had a great experience
Great experience. Quinn’s continues to be a fav.
Very very very good service. Been going there along time and I'm never disappointed..
Good food and waiter was outstanding! We also appreciate the marina setting and views
Great food and absolutely great service
If we could comment negatively on anything it would be the tuna melt. Our birthday lunch was very very nice and our server was excellent.
had lunch with a long lost cousin at my favorite restaurant. she LOVED it
The bucket of clams were great, lots of clams and a mild light garlic base, the best app. is the calamari, very crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, not rubbery at all, the seafood newburg is to die for, lots of fresh fish, scallops, prawns, crab, muscles with a lobster bisque sauce on a bed of rice. I'd recommend Quinn's to anyone who like a small mellow restaurant with a great view of the boats in the harbor.

We chose Quinn’s Lighthouse because we were going to a concert at Oracle Arena. We hadn’t been there in years. Although the decor is dated who cares when the food and service are great. Our server was waiting on every table yet we were well attended to.
We arrived at 6 before a concert at Oracle.
Our table was ready and even though our waiter was hustling to take care of a room filled with other concert goers, he made us feel welcome and never forgot to check back every time he walked by.
Calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, salad large enough to share, half of the chicken Tuscany and teriyaki salmon had to travel home for another meal.
Definitely will return.
The food was not that great and the place was virtually empty. However, the service was top notch. Unfortunately even the service would not make me come back.
This place is a great spot for drinks on a sunny day. The view is great. The food is a bit pricey for the value and what you get. Didn't realize it was almost $20 for a shrimp cocktail appetizer. Also, when I ordered the special fish of the day for almost $30 I had no idea it would come out covered in batter and fried. Additionally, on a busy Sunday, there was only one server/host/everything - she rocked it and handled it all but it was a long wait for everything. I had higher expectations for this place.
Love this place. It is our go to spot prior to concerts and games in Oakland.
Always reliable meals. The Cajun clams are a favorite and never disappoint! Add the Pear & Gorgonzola salad and a great meal results!!
Have going to Quinn's for a long time. Love the staff and the food!
Very nice fish restaurant
Very few diners for a Saturday afternoon so we had great service. Had checked out the menu on OpenTable's rstaurant description so quite surprised at the much higher prices on actual menu. However, food and drinks were good and generous portions.
My family recently visited Quinn's Lighthouse and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. David was our server and he made recommendations based on what each of us were in the mood for. The food was delicious; the prime rib french dip and New England clams and mussels were my family's favorite but each of us were very satisfied with our meals. We highly recommend visiting Quinn's and we will be back soon.
Best service we have had in awhile. I would go there again.
Salmon dishes were cooked perfectly! The sides were only warm but fresh servings were nice and hot. Chicken piccata was just good not spectacular. Our server, David, was great !
Place was great . Parking sucks. Have to park on the rode. Had our window smashed and grabbed.
