Very nice fish restaurant
Very few diners for a Saturday afternoon so we had great service. Had checked out the menu on OpenTable's rstaurant description so quite surprised at the much higher prices on actual menu. However, food and drinks were good and generous portions.
My family recently visited Quinn's Lighthouse and had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. David was our server and he made recommendations based on what each of us were in the mood for. The food was delicious; the prime rib french dip and New England clams and mussels were my family's favorite but each of us were very satisfied with our meals. We highly recommend visiting Quinn's and we will be back soon.
Best service we have had in awhile. I would go there again.
Salmon dishes were cooked perfectly! The sides were only warm but fresh servings were nice and hot. Chicken piccata was just good not spectacular. Our server, David, was great !
Place was great . Parking sucks. Have to park on the rode. Had our window smashed and grabbed.
First went to Quinn’s 40 years ago. While we don’t go frequently we still come back, with our family and friends. Good menu, beer and wine selections. Never have been disappointed. We’ll be back
Extremely homey and full of locals, with peanuts on the floor and state flags on the ceiling in the upper bar floor. A huge menu, and we liked everything we tried (burgers, coconut shrimp, salads, soups). We went late, when the more formal dining room was closed, but service was attentive and the same full menu was available. A great find!
My first time here but I wanted to come here on my real birthday and celebrate! I actually made the open table reservations. This place had been here for eons but the service is friendly and courteous. We sat in the dining room at a window table and it was warm and pleasant. Bill our server, has been working here for 12 years and was very gracious in taking pictures for us during dinner and at dessert.
We ordered the White Fish Santa Barbara and Seafood Pasta with marinara sauce and a side of vegetables. Bill also surprised me with a lemon sheet cake and candle and it made my birthday very special. I enjoyed my birthday meal and spouse enjoyed my seafood pasta. Upstairs is the pub and a more casual setting. It has a great view and would be fun to sit outside when the weather warms up.
First time here...found this place on Open Table....date night with some friends and looking for something close to Paramount Theater for the Keith Sweat, Ginuine, and Jon B show. Based on others review we made reservations...great choice!! We had the window seating with good ambiance. The staff were all pleasant and our waiter was knowledgable. The seafood was so good, definitely a return visit!!!
One of our favorite restaurants. Excellent food and service. We recently had lunch. Although the place was busy we were able to have a quiet conversation and delicious meal.
The restaurant serves reasonably priced and delicious food with big portions, each plate enough for two. The interior looks a bit outdated, but it's cozy in there.
I have been coming to Quinn's Lighthouse Restaurant since the 70s. It's a fun place to dine outdoors and watch the sunset on the water. It's also a cozy location with good seafood selections. I would recommend this restaurant for parties and small group events. Many families come here to dine and celebrate special occasions.
I loved the food and the view. It is right on the water. I really enjoyed it there.
Full dining room at 6:15 pm and glad we had a reservation. Very busy and a bit louder than previous visits, but simply a noisy party. Server did a great job managing tables. Have a sincere apology and bowl of chowder while we waited. It really wasn’t that long, but a great gesture.
Dinner was great and we saved room (only ate half my meal) for some delicious lemon cake. Great place and always a pleasure to return. Thank you
We, a party of four, ate a full three-course meal before going to see Elton John at Oracle Aerna. No rush, very professional and friendly service from James.
Interesting fried ravioli appetizer with a great marinara dipping sauce. Good shrimp with the Shrimp Cobb Salad. Excellent lamb shank, a lot lighter sauce, much preferable to how heavy it could have been. We shared a wonderful chocolate bread pudding.
We went for the fist time last Friday for a before game (Warriors) dinner. It was great. Great service, food was delicious and cocktails were super! Nice cold perfect dirty martinii's !! Thanks for starting our evening with a great experience
Quinn's brightest feature is their people. I requested a table with a view and let them know I would be with my 90 year old dad who depends on a walker. They have a lift for the physically challenged. There is a bell to call for help and they came right away. They seated us at the window on the first floor. The service was great! The food was good... Clam chowder, salad and even at least one vegan option. It was a comfortable and tasty lunch! Thank you, Quinn's!
The food was good. Nice table
It was a wonderful experience! Our waiter was excellent and very kind to us. Would definitely come back!
Good fish good variety great vibe. Quinn's is a bit funky but that adds to the charm.
Awesome service. Can’t wait to go back
We ate a midday meal here Christmas Day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. One member of our party needed to use the lift to access the restaurant which worked well. We were seated immediately in a good location. The view and ambience were great and the food outstanding. We were pleased to be able to order off the regular menu. The prices were reasonable for seafood and the nautical atmosphere added to our experience.
We had a long standing reservation, arrived 15 minutes early, when seated were told to hurry because the kitchen was closing in ten minutes. The food was mediocre and expensive. Take-home boxes were piled in the middle of our table while we were eating. We were never offered dessert.
Great food with lots of choices. The service was excellent and the view was relaxing and romantic. I am not from the area; but I will definitely make it a pit stop if I come back to Oakland!
Our favorite view in Oakland! Good beers, good food. Baby lobster pasta was delish! Steak was good too. Alfredo pasta was a bit too saucy, but not bad. Definitely will be back!
Four of us came for Sunday brunch in the attractive downstairs area. Three of us had eaten there several years ago upstairs. Food was great and attractively presented. The manager was also our bartender and waiter. Very attentive and patient. We had a great time and will definitely not wait long to return. Highly recommended.
The food was great, and the service was very good. Since it was mid-day, they let us stay at the table without trying to get us out of there, so we had a chance to chat - some of us hadn't seen each other in months.
We have been coming here for years. One of our favorite places!! We brought our family members who had never been and they loved it too!! The food was good, the service was good and we were able to sit and visit.
An old stand by that never fails! Reliable food, varied menu, excellent service.
On the water. Excellent food with outstanding service.
One of favorite local spots with a view of downtown Oakland, Coast Guard Island, and SF. Always great to sit outside on the deck on a beautiful day to get an organic dose of Vitamin D. Upstairs is more casual, downstairs is formal with white table linens. Parking is plentiful, be sure to see Ms. Liberty, floating flotilla of boats and a few felines about.
Luis, our waiter is always on top of our dining needs and always aim to please.
Great food, excellent service. Very accommodating. An Oakland hidden gem!
Excellent service and really nice atmosphere. Food was tasty and generous. Enjoyed our visit
Food was mediocre but service was great.
They went out of their way to accommodate our mobility challenges
The drinks were great
Thank you, Grady, for giving us a bigger table. Our server, James, was fantastic!
Understaffed and out of Thanksgiving turkey. Food very mediocre
We enjoyed our meal, food and staff were great. The ambiance was nice and my grandson enjoyed the animated fish tank and the “airplanes”.
Great service, romantic bay views. The upstairs pub area is great for a quick drink or lunch, they serve shell peanuts that you can toss the shells on the floor. Downstairs is cozy dinning, they can book pretty fast so i suggest making a reservation.
