$35 for unlimited brunch items from the menu including bloody Mary's or Mimosas. Food was good. Service needs some work.
I rarely visit the area where Quench is located but had a Groupon so was curious to check it out with a group of friends. The servers were attentive and very helpful. The menu was pretty extensive and a bit hard to wrap our heads around because A) there was so much to read, and B) because of the unique fushion of cuisines. It was more of a bar/casual vibe than I anticipated. If I were local I might go back for drinks but otherwise there wasn't anything outstanding that I'd go back for.
Sad decline in quality since our last visit.
This was our first visit and we went for Sunday brunch. Delightfully surprised by the all you can eat menu and we were able to sample many good dishes.
Food was delicious and perfect place to go to brunch :) it's a hidden treasure!
Brunch was so good!! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and really enjoyed it.
Delicious food- pleased to find something for my pasta-loving hubby and my carb-free diet.
While apparently primarily a bar, there was an extensive menu with a lot of variety. My companion had calves liver which you don't often see on menus. I had the seared ahi tuna, which was tasty but could have used a little more in the way of an accompaniment than just a few asparagus spears--perhaps some rice? The cinnamon roll on the dessert menu was a disappointment, very doughy with little cinnamon flavor.
The food was good. Very quiet place, we were the only ones in the restaurant!!! makes you wonder why???
When I walked in, I was asked what I needed. Drinks were watery. There weren't that many people inside but it was extremely loud. If you are looking for a pseudo-up-scale dive bar, this might be the place.
Came here for brunch with friends and although the food was good for the all you could eat we were expecting each of our orders to come out individually and quick not family style it makes it not worth paying 35 dollar all you can eat but it was nice that bottomless 1 cent drinks were coming without asking for refills. Overall the service was awsome and the environment felt cozy.
Service was a bit slow which is why they didnt get 5 stars. The server was very sweet but it seemed she had too much going on. We were the first group there and ended up getting our drinks 30 minutes in from being seated. Food came out slow as well. Couldnt understand since we were there upon opening. Otherwise food was good and again people there were nice.
So this was a bit of an odd experience. Based on the photographs that accompany the Quench entry, we expected this to be an upscale restaurant complete with white table cloths . . . but it is not. It is a bar that serves very good food with an eclectic menu. Service was outstanding and it turned into a fun evening (they had live music on a Saturday night). Not sure I would go out of my way to visit but if I were nearby, I would not hesitate to stop in.
I've enjoyed Quench for dinner and thought it would be great for a birthday brunch. It certainly was: great food choices, wonderful service. It's a gem!
We enjoyed her excellent dinner there
Too noise for my taste . They made folk musicians playing and singing . The food was delicious .
Food is always very good here. Live music some nights. Fun date night.
Quench has an interesting menu. Many of the dishes are traditional New American but there are some Thai appetizers and entres thrown in as well. We gravitated to the Thai dishes, Panang Curry, Thai Mussels and fried Thai calamari. If you like spicy hot food, and we do, these dishes were excellent. Next time, we will try the more traditional dishes. They also offer a number of boutique beers but also have a full service bar. We had two gin martinis and beer with dinner. Apparently, this is the second ownership of the restuarant. The atmosphere is rustic, but they do have outside seating, which we would try in the future when the heat and humidity is lower. It is a nice neighborhood restaurant.
It was surprisingly empty when we went, but we had a great time and the service was excellent.
This was our first time at Quench. We went for Sunday Brunch and it was empty. People started to come in later. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The chef changed the dish to meet my dietary needs, which I appreciate. I had a lump crab scramble with extra veggies added in and a fruit salad. The scramble was delish. Full of huge pieces of crab. I would go back if I lived or worked closer for Happy hour or dinner with friends. I do think the colors of the inside of the restaurant are too dark. Also the signage out front doesn't draw you in. If the colors were lighter it would be easier to see the inside from the window or walking by. I hope they do well.
This is actually a neighbourhood bar, and the set-up and ambiance was not as reflected on Open Table OR the restaurant's website.
As a bar, it's a nice enough place - with good food from the Asian Chef.
As a place for over-50 age group to celebrate a birthday, not quite .
What a meal, thank you so much!
I was so sad to return to Quench to find it in such a state. It was like having brunch in a dirty bar. The service was great, our server was attentive. But I kid you not, the "homemade" biscuits and gravy were canned flaky layer biscuits from Pillsbury. Even my 3 year old wouldn't eat them with Jam and butter. Very disappointed.
Excellent service with fabulous food....although on one of the wine pours the bottle was emptied and they said they would be back to top off and never returned.
Our waitress was phenomenal! She kept the champagne flutes consistently full. Eggs benedict was delicious. Not the best I've had, though.
My husband and I had never been to Quench, but were excited to try it. We ordered an appetizer, a burger and the salmon club. The portions were tiny for what we paid, and there was more bread on my salmon club than there was fish. I was very disappointed.
I went to Quench for brunch with a group of eight. The majority of the group ordered the Maryland omelette. Those that ordered the omelette seemed to enjoy it. I had what I believe to be crab cakes benedict with hollandaise sauce and they were phenomenal! Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and it wasn't even crowded. We ended up ordering the cinnamon roll because it had been over an hour since we placed our food order and we still had not received anything. When seven of us did receive our orders, the waitress came over to tell us that the eighth person would have to wait since another waitress took their dish. While the long wait gave us ample time to chat, I hope that it is not a common occurrence as we were there for almost two and a half hours. I do plan on going back to give them another chance as I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the location.
I had been to Quench once before for brunch and decided that this place would be perfect to celebrate a friend's birthday as well. The staff was great and very helpful in getting arrangements done with a cake and more. Everyone loved the bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's. I would highly recommend this place to others.
We had a group of 8 and arrived somewhat staggered, but while waiting for the full group and about 5 minutes after we arrived, no one approached us (10 minutes in total). Then after our food arrived, same thing, no one to be seen. The food was okay. Nothing special. Did appreciate salad option with sandwich.
The food was amazing! The band was very loud. Maybe they could keep it at a moderate level
Love the small town feel of this place and food and service are always good.
Salmon was delicious, asparagus and corn sides were OK.
The puppies were delicious!! Overall the food and ambiance were really good; however, the refills for the bottomless mimosas could have occurred more frequently. Nonetheless, still a great place.
Food was incredible, service was perfect, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone!
We didn't stay for dinner. Both tables we were offered were crammed so tightly between other diners that it was too uncomfortable. It was as if we were an afterthought since we were just a party of two. A large party with lots of kids would've been on top of where we could have sat - a smaller party of three would've felt like they were in out laps in the other place we could have sat. No fun.
This is the second time we've been. The first was a couple of years ago., and that was an entirely different experience. We loved it. This time it was not good at all. The calamari was rubbery, the service was perfunctory at best. The drinks, supposedly their specialty, were terrible, weak and poorly made. I ordered a salad that never came, and they brought me the wrong drink. The table next to us was also very unhappy with their meal, even returning food. Truly disappointed.
I had the crab omlette. Amazing!! Good service friendly staff!
My first visit here was for brunch and it was pretty good, the food options were vast and a good value for the money. I saw the options available for dinner and decided to come back to try it out for dinner and it was ok. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch.
Came here with my husband and mom for dinner. Their drinks were absolutely delicious and the food was pretty good too. My husband and I both had burgers and mom had the mussels. The bartender Erin was very friendly. We'll definitely be back when the weather gets nice again to enjoy some time on the patio!
