Queensview Steakhouse Ratings and Reviews
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the pork chop, it was excellent. The asparagus and baked potato were delicious. The only negative was it is loud and even louder when the musicians are playing. Overall, it was a great dinner and I can’t complain about the beautiful view.
Queens View was a fantastic choice! We were celebrating our first anniversary and the live piano music, plus the view, plus the deliscious food, and of course the company made for a magical dinner out. We had a waterfront table looking straight towards the queen marry and the sunset views were gorgeous as well!! Small and intimate without being cramped. Loved it!!
Came here for a anniversary dinner with my girlfriend and I can tell you that it will make for a very good impression. The view was great. I made a reservation for 6pm which was just before sunset. It was great to be able to eat our dinner while enjoying the great oceanside view and perfect sunset. You can see the Queen Mary from where we were sitting really nice. And the food was delicious. We had the filet minion and it was perfectly cooked and nice and juicy. Price is somewhat pricey but you get more than your money’s worth.
Where do I begin?! This place is absolutely amazing! The view, no matter which side you're on, no matter if you're by a window or more towards the center, is amazing! Sure the windows give you the best view but there is honestly no bad seat in the house. The live band (bass, keyboards & drums) were absolutely fabulous and gave it an even more amazing atmosphere. The wait staff is incredible and really care about the people. The food was INCREDIBLE. Lobster mac n cheese. Mushrooms. Steak. Salad. Soup. The warm butter cake. Everything tasted amazing and was prepared with such incredible care. We went for an anniversary and it really just made the occasion even more special having found this gem of a place. It is great for special occasions. It's great for having a nice time out and away from the world. I've never been anywhere better!
Beautiful restaurant with amazing views of the Queen Mary and harbor. Live music was a nice touch and added to the cool vibe of the place. Our server, Michael, was amazing and actually had a personality which was nice as too often waiters at nicer restaurants tend to be stiff and serious. Overall the food was very good. Loved the seafood tower, side dishes and creme brûlée. We shared the porterhouse and it was good but not amazing. However, the steaks come with 4 delicious sauces and that really bumped up the enjoyment of the steak. The menu is quite large and wish we could have tried more items. All in all a great place with amazing views and an awesome vibe. We'd definitely come back.
Huzz got a New York, which is his go to at a steakhouse. He's had many at high quality restaurants and he said this one was great. I had swordfish and it was fantastic. We stayed a long time, and our waiter was very patient. We spent about $500.00 for a party of four. Had cocktails, a bottle of wine, two appetizers, four entrees, two sides, and two desserts. The view was great. There was live music that was just a tad loud for conversation. Overall it was a fun night and I'd definitely go back for dinner. Their happy hour is great too, by the way.
This was my first time to queensview restaurant and proved to be a good addition to my Long Beach restaurant list. We had sea bass and lobster ravioli following the heirloom tomato skewer. The sea bass was flaky and perfectly cooked over a bed of thinly sliced and savory lettuce.
The staff and service in general was friendly and catered to our needs promptly. This is a steak house and any review should ultimately include that.
The negatives aren't specific to the restaurant but parking was atrocious and required valet parking in front of the restaurant at least on a Saturday. Also the band was too big and loud for the room causing us to have to talk over the music which I could have done without all together. The band was good but just not appropriate to the sending with drums, Etc
Overall I plan to go back again soon and recommend Queensview restaurant.
Took the wife there for her birthday, we both had the steak. I ordered mine medium and it was a little on the well done side, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Even being a little over cooked it was very good. Everything is a la carte. Great views, good service and good food. The only downside is the parking can be a pain as it gets busy down there. Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a nice romantic evening.
This was our first visit to Queensview. The view was spectacular as it overlooked the Queen Mary and LB marina. We were celebrating an anniversary which was commented on by our server.
My husband ordered the garden mule cocktail which he enjoyed and the server brought our bread to the table but rather than leave it with us, we were given a choice of one of the rolls and away it went. My husband ordered the peppered steak which he really enjoyed- I ordered the sea bass which I had to send back because it was undercooked. Rather than cook an entire piece again, the entire plate was cooked and re-plated so my sides were overly cooked. (The Brussel sprouts side dish was really tasty though). To make up for the error, we were offered dessert on the house so we chose the crème brulee cheesecake. This turned out to be a slice of cheesecake with the crème brulee (anglais sauce) spooned on top with a bit of the crunchy sugar crust found on the crème brulees. The chees cake was good but the crème brulee topping was bland. I'd stick to chocolate dessert.
I would recommend the location for the view and definitely stick to steak as it is a steakhouse. It's a bit on the pricey side though. Our bill for two entrees, three drinks (all my husband's) and two sides was close to $200.
