Went to QUEENSVIEW Steakhouse located at Parkers Lighthouse for our Anniversary. First time ever at this restaurant or parkers Light House for that matter. First off, Let's talk about the views from this place. There isn't a bad table in the room. Views of the Queen Mary are visible from every angle. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Our Server for the night was Sam and we appreciated his guidence to what we should try being it was our first visit. I had the Chilean Seabass and the wife had their aged New york. Both dishes and the sides we're all very good and definitley deserving of a five star evening. I can't thank Sam enough for his service and taking interest in seeing that we had a very special night. It's qualities like this that bring people back.
The servers were outstanding as well as the food. The view was beautiful!
If you want to do it right, do it at the Queensview Steakhouse.
great service and food. The please was a 10.
The only thing it needs is to update the decor
Overall experience was great. Loved the food and our server was outstanding.
Had a good experience but not as good as previous experiences, the difference is that we were seated in the middle of the room away from the windows. Previous dinners we were seated closer to the windows so the views were fantastic and it seemed more private. I was celebrating my birthday and had made a request for a window table when I made the reservation but apparently that was ignored. The tables in the middle are a little too dense. I seemed to have waitstaff backsides standing next to me a lot as they served adjacent tables. If I ever go back I will make sure we are not seated in the middle of the room.
Excellent location, food, and service. Would go again.
I have been to Queensview on several occasions and have yet to be disappointed.
Absolutely great meal. From the seafood tower and the aged steak to the desert. Very well done.
Great waterfront dining atmosphere and food are amazing.
The fish dish I had was not fresh, definitely frozen swordfish....disappointing for the price we paid per plate...the ribeye and swordfish was tasty and fresh and worth the cost
It was nice. Not exceptional. Food was good. Not the best. A lot of noise. Priced too high for what we got. Beautiful view.
Service was great. Staff was all very helpful, they made this dinner a very memorable experience.
Enjoying an evening with my guy!
Great service overall. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food, ambience, and live music was awesome!
Great restaurant. Never disappoints. Great for special occasion or romantic evening
Everything was great and very great scene great service
The food and service was outstanding. The only issue that I had was the special which was offered was much more expensive that I expected. I did not expect it to 4-1/2 times the price of the rib eye entre.
Came here for Valentine's Day and I absolutely loved it. Everything from the customer service to the food was amazing! We had Samuel as our waiter and he knew his stuff and made great (and delicious) recommendations. Although pricey, this is definitely a good place to take your special someone on a special day.
The food was excellent, Rib Eye wae amazingly tender and flavorful, and the Asian Sea bass was outstanding. Wine suggestions were on point. Over all an exception experience
Excellent service and really enjoyed the view
Everything was great! Service was awesome and food delicious! Great portions too!
We had such a fantastic time. Between the food, the incredible service (Sam is amazing), and the fantastic ambience, we had an awesome time. We'll definitely be back
The directions from this site was misleading.....the restaurant was definitely not where the directions led but we found our way.....valet wasn’t available and the parking was very full so I would suggest opening that up a little....the food was good...service was good but not great....I would have preferred a little more attention for the price of the menu....overall I would recommend this place...the steaks were great!
This is our special spot we love to go on special occassions
My husband and I came to Queensview to celebrate Valentine's Day early and I must say, this has been one of the best restaurants we've been to in our 10 years celebrating special occasions! Beautiful view, delicious food, and great service.
Service and food was great
The food was fantastic. The quality of the meat was great and the preparation was perfect. The location is one of the best in Long Beach overlooking the water and with a view of the Queen Mary ship. You will be delighted with the food quality, service and location. A truly memorable dining experience.
The 3rd level of Parker’s lighthouse is a wonderful venue for this separate steakhouse. Mike our server was wonderful, everything just perfect for our anniversary. Because the room is somewhat intimate, the band created a bit louder than normal noise level. That being said everything was on point.
Beautiful place, food was delicious.. a bit high in price but worth it. It is a very special place to celebrate a special celebration. Worth all the price.
FANTASTIC place to have a special occasion. Michael our server was great too. Very, very pricey (pty of 5 was $600!!), but well worth a good memory. Food and view are great.
The staff made us fell welcome and the food was delicious. My husband ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly. We were there for his birthday and it was a nice surprise to see a birthday card from the staff on the table for him.
The food is always good here. We got the prime rib special--enough for a meal the next day.
Our server was good--not excellent. For the meal we received, the price was excellent. I wish they had live music on Sunday nights.
This place was very very elegant beautiful view great staff great food I would totally recommend this place
Just an amazing experience. Food was great , service was excellent and the view was amazing. Definitely one of the finest steaks I have ever had.
The best onion soup ever! Had the rib eye that was cooked to perfection. My husband was so impressed with this restaurant that he wants to come back. Finished our delicious dinner with Key Lime Pue!
Food was very good but it was too noisy for a higher end steakhouse
This was our anniversary and they didn’t disappoint. There was an anniversary card signed by the staff when we arrived. The view was beautiful, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious with very generous portions, cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive but not intrusive and allowed us to linger. It was a memorable evening. We will definitely return.
We had been to Parker's Lighthouse several times, but this was our first visit to Queensview Steakhouse. On the 3rd level of Parker's Lighthouse, the small, octagonal shape of Queensview Steakhouse adds to the intimate feel. It has its own bar and dedicated kitchen open to the dining room. The panoramic views of Shoreline Village, Long Beach Harbor and the Queen Mary can't be beat. They even had a live jazz band performing. The bar had two TVs, which allowed us to keep track of the NFL playoff game. Unlike Parker's, which highlights primarily seafood, Queensview highlights primarily steaks and chops. I must admit, I have had much more flavorful steaks elsewhere. But the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. My wife and I chose to share an 18oz ribeye and accompany that with two 6oz lobster tails. At first, we were told they could only add one lobster tail per entree, and suggested we get the 11oz tail to share instead. The waiter later came back and said that not only would they add the additional lobster we wanted, but that the kitchen would divide our steak for us and present our meals on separate plates so we would not have to mess with cutting it up ourselves. Along with our steak, we ordered the potato gratin and lobster mac & cheese. The potato gratin was okay. Not sure if it included sweet potato or not, but tasted like it did. The lobster mac & cheese was very good. A little heavy on the herbs, but had plenty of lobster and cheese. The highlight of the meal, however, was the lobster bisque. Phenomenal! Thick, rich and full of generous chunks of lobster. Perhaps the best I've had. Usually, we would share starters so that we have room to try other menu items, but this time we were both happy we opted for our own bowls. A meal for two with drinks could easily run $200-300. But if money is no object, or you don't mind paying for a unique dining experience for a special occasion, consider giving Queensview steakhouse a try.
We would have had an great experience at this restaurant but they failed on 3 occasion. A few of their signature courses were out. We had an 8 pm dinner reservation and only to be told that they were sold out. Our waiter told us they were out of the Ribeye Steaks, I then ordered the Pork Chops only to be told they also were sold out. We were disappointed especially at the price point they are at. I couldn't even get a cappuccino their machine was broken they had to get one from Parker's downstairs. This was a real disappointment for us all.
