Great steaks done to our need. Great service shout out to Mike our server.
The only thing I would put more tine in is the quality of the oysters, not good quality. To small and not opened correctly
It was fast and easy to make reservations online. When we arrived at Queensview we were seated right away. Stunning ocean view, our server was very polite, helpful and attentive all night, food was delicious, I enjoyed the live music and the wine, I definitely recommend Queensview Steakhouse.
Everything was top notch! Service, food, drinks, views, and music were fantastic. We will be back!
I would've gaven it 5 stars but the waitress brought some nut products after we told her one of the guest was allergic to nuts
There was a large party dining at the same time as us and I think the staff was overwhelmed. Unfortunately for us we paid the price with poor service and meals that weren’t good. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
We had a very nice time, and really enjoy ourselves
Everything was nice. A bit pricey! Parking was horrible. The last two times we had reservations at Parker's Lighthouse downstairs, and now Queensview Steakhouse, the parking was horrible and makes it not wanting to go to these restaurants and others in Shoreline Village. These last two times, they were having the Grand Prix, and also now another event. So many detours on Ocean Blvd., and getting to shoreline Village that it makes it a big hassle to get to Shoreline Village, and this time they had parking on the grass outside the parking lot which was full, for $15 parking fee. The restaurants should complain, as I am sure they lose customers because of the detours and no parking available. When they have envents at Shoreline Village, they should park somewhere and shuttle people into the event, so that the ones that want to visit the restaurants can come and park in the parking lot. Several in our party at Queensview Steakhouse, and sadly we will not be going there on Weekends, since we never know when they are going to have events there. It was never like this before.
My visitors loved it. Great view and tender sirloin steaks
food, service and ambience outstanding as usual. Great for special occasions.
Server and service was mediocre at best. Server seemed inexperienced and not attentive enough since I had to flag non server staff down to clear emplty plates, order more rolls and another drink. It's a tradition of mine to take my daughter there for her birthday often dropping a couple hundred dollars for her and I and the recognition she got was a tacky card? Not even a complimentary $2 ice cream or desert? I think my tradition is going to change have to change. The only good thing was the food but all in all everything considered the food is not good enough to keep my business. No more lighthouse or queensview in my horizon.
Our server was great, and the food was pretty tasty, however, I was disappointed that our request to have a water view table wasn't accommodated. I made the reservation a good few weeks in advance, and when we arrived, we were seated somewhat towards the center of the restaurant, which was a bummer as my husband loves dinners with a view, and we were there to celebrate his birthday.
Service fantastic, great crab cakes and wonderful fresh tomato salad appetizers. Completely stellar service. Much noise then one would expect from a high end steakhouse. They put us in the section with noise echoung odd the atrium ceiling. That unsettled the ambience. Unfortunately, for 54.00 the steak was mediocre and unremarkable, actually a little tough. Beautiful view but not what I hoped or expected.
First time being there and it was a great night hthe view is incredible and the food is delicious and the service was great nice and friendly I’m definitely going back
We ordered the Porterhouse Steak, it’s definitely great for two and would definitely recommend.
The atmosphere was great and so was the view and service. The food was overpriced and not very good. We had the surf and turf and the lobster. Probably won't return again.
Love this place me and my hubby have been here several times but this last visit was a little disappointing they didn’t have my favorite Salmon plate
Great service, loved the jazz music and a wonderful view and overall ambience ! Definitely recommend!
It was a birthday celebration and nothing was done to commemorate it as is normally done at upscale restaurants. My wife was very disappointed about that.
Excelente ubicación excelente ambientación excelente vista hacia el Barco Queen Mary, muy buen filete mignon, muy buen mashed potatoes, gran detalle del restaurante darme en cortesía un Creme Brule por mi cumpleaños🍰
Service was great! Walking in & hostess is greeting very cordially. My birthday girl was in awe because of the beautiful view, no lie so was I. Our first time there, Sunday dinner. Food was good, was honestly expecting for it to be better but overall it was good. Would definitely visit again, price a bit high but very well worth it. Thank you Adam, our server who helped our first time at Queensview to be great.
We enjoyed the view, the ambiance and the excellent service at this restaurant! I had the filet mingon, which was wonderful. My boyfriend had the New York steak with bourbon cream sauce and it was not so good. Very tough and full of gristle. I'm assuming this is not the norm and that he just had bad luck, since everything else was so fantastic! Our sides were asparagus and potatoes au gratin, both highly recommended.
Amazing. Awesome food, awesome view, and even better background music. Loved it.
Everything was great. We had a great time & would recommend it for a special occasion.
Took my Wife and kids there to celebrate a birthday. Window table with a great view. Nicki who was our server was a 10. The Rib Eye steak was one of the best I've had there and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Such a great place to dine and wonderful ambiance!
Continues to provide excellent food, e.g., Sunday prime rib, and service
Great food, fantastic service and wonderful atmosphere
one of our favorite places to dine. Mike was our waiter again and took great care of all our needs.
This is our go to place for special occasions; we go for our birthdays, our anniversary, and when we have guests visiting Long Beach. The staff is always friendly, attentive, warm and they also remember their guests! The food is amazing, delicious and beautifully presented 10 out 10 stars!
Great service, food, and ambiance!
Great service great food great music
Wonderful time with my loved one and great food will definitely go again
Alex was our server. He was very good. But toward the end of the evening, he got busy and we were not tended to as much. However, he was very good at recommendations and great personality.
Food was excellent. We had Sea Bass (his recommendation), Scallops and Salmon.
Beet salad, and Cesar salad, Brussel spouts. Everything met and exceeded our expectations.
My biggest issue of the night was the room temperature. We know it was hot outside and AC was probably running hot. But the room was soo warm, me and my party were sweating. We suffered through it as the food and the ambiance (view) was wonderful.
Lastly, I am not sure if it is a training issue, or not your expectations, but we ordered a bottle of wine and not once did anyone refill our glasses. I had to do it. I thought this restaurant was of fine dining and our glasses should have been tended to.
Still, Overall I give a high rating. I have enjoyed your restaurant since it opened. I will be back!
Fabulous food and impeccable service with amazing views of the Long Beach Coastline and Queen Mary. Best steakhouse in Long Beach! And Will the manager is outstanding.
Get the porterhouse for 2. Disappointed that there was no anniversary card. Otherwise, great views. Pricey
The staff are excellent, especially the waiter, Michael. The food (main course) was tasty, but a bit overcooked.
My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary celebration at the restaurant. The food and service was superb and we will return at a future date .
When the family visits from Colorado, Queensview Steakhouse is a favorite for dinner. The food and service is great. We started off with white wine, shrimp cocktail and a sashimi plate. Followed by 2 orders of the Chef's special: a 32 ounce Tomahawk rib-eye steak and 2.5# lobster tail for the table to share. The special came with four sides. We chose fries, brussel sprouts, mushrooms and lobster mac n cheese. The brussel sprouts were amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and more than enough food for our party of 5. I am allergic to shellfish so I did not have the lobster or mac n cheese but it all looked incredible. My family thought the one lobster tail was a bit under cooked but it didn't stop them from eating it. We took steak and sides home. We enjoyed a lovely Jordan Cab with the meal. The special also included two desserts. We had the butter cake (amazing) and the brulee cheesecake. They also brought an order of creme brulee as well. It was a great dinner. A beautiful view of the Long Beach coast and live music too.
The only thing I like is the ambiance and the spot. Don't want to believe at first that the steak is not worth the price per other reviews I read. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to agree to those negative reviews. If I'm going to pay that much for steak I rather just go to Morton's, Ruth's Chris or Fleming's. My mom and my Wife tried their seafood. It is good but not as good as Roy's that's why I hate to say this but since it doesn't even match to the level of taste to other fine dining restaurant then unfortunately it will fall in to overpriced category once again. We have to remember that the restaurant claimed that it's a "Steakhouse" so obviously people will order steaks/meats. So I got a ribeye steak, my Sister got her NY Steak and my Dad ordered a Filet Mignon. I have to be honest all of them are all subpar, yes the taste and the presentation of food. I will say this again and again, food is not worth the money. But I will say this with all honesty if you want to take your date to a romantic spot this is it. Just be ready that after the meal you'll feel that you got ripped off because of the food. I was once a Sous Chef from a fine dining restaurant in NYC and currently at a 5 star hotel, so I guess you can take my world for it. If not then go see for yourself.
This is a very, very nice restaurant. We went on a Friday at 6 pm. Not too busy until around 7 pm. There was a band which was loud and we were unable to hold a conversation. When I go to a restaurant like this I don’t want to have to yell. The band didn’t play all the time which as nice. Good food. Wanted to bring our own wine however there is a 35.00 corkage fee! That’s nuts. And they don’t have house wines. The Napa wine was a nice choice and I think it was 15.00 a glass. All in all it is a nice venue.
