Queen Mary Tea Room
Lunch: Wednesday-Friday: 11:00 am-4:00 pm, Saturday-Sunday: 11:00 am-4:30 pm
Beautiful place! My second time being here and it always leaves me wanting to come right back.
The place was very lovely and decorative for the holiday. Heard a lot about this place and want to check out, I was not disappointed. Abit busy bit loving it. A lot of tea choices to pick. The services are great and fast too. The food was good. Great place to catch up with friends.
Unfortunately we had to leave before the food came out, we had an accident with the tea pot tipped over and spilled hot tea all over my grand nephew and myself. We ended up having to box the food to go. Suggestion: maybe provide a high chair for guest who have babies?
Have been coming here for years, and it honestly gets better every time! The warmth and hospitality are second to none, and the tea selection and food are excellent. They’re my favorite high tea place in the PNW. The tea quality is honestly the best I’ve tasted, and everything I’ve ever eaten here is extraordinary.
Amazing service. The only thing is that we had a reservation and they weren’t able to seat us on our time reserved. We had kids with us and they were super hungry by the time they sat us. Not their fault as the guests before us also had children and they took longer than expected. Maybe they can give a notice so they’d know what time their reservation is over.
I was excited to take my daughter & Granddaughter for Christmas tea. I made the reservation on Nov 1 for Dec 1 @ 1:00. We live a two hour drive away, depending on traffic. Several days after making the reservation I get a phone call asking me to change my time to noon because they had a party w/ a baby wanting the 1:00 slot & needed some extra room. I was speechless. I didn’t know what to say so reluctantly said OK. When I checked w/ my daughter she said it would not work for her. So I called back the next day asking for my 1:00 time back. The managers response was,”you’re asking me to call the other party & cancel? No, I had that time slot first and want it back. That experience totally put a damper on my experience. Then I get an email stating that their busy time is noon to 1:30 and they usually try to keep the 1:00 slot free. What? Then why do you offer that time. We came & were seated at the table by the bathroom, crammed next to two other tables. I will say the food was delicious and our service was top notch. A little pricey for tea but my Granddaughter loved it & that’s what mattered.
Our friendship reunion was truly a delight thanks to the experience at Queen Mary Tearoom! We are grateful for our magical tea sipping adventure!
Great place to stay celebrate a birthday.
Christmas lunch with daughters
My husband and I had Afternoon Tea here last Saturday. It was delicious!!! There were sandwiches and sweets and scones and fruit. I would recommend this tea room to anyone!! I am thankful we had reservations for afternoon tea because there was a bit of a line up so I would recommend making reservations. This is definitely worth the trip. We came from thirty miles away!!
Everything was lovely. I took my sister for her birthday and particularly loved the leisurely pace. We enjoyed talking as we ate and savored the best tea.
We Love ❤️ this restaurant but at the end of the meal the waitress informed us we were 20 min over our allotted time. This is on them they are slow to get food out once ordered!
This is an annual tradition and we are never disappointed.
A great outing for a special event or out-of-town guests. By far the best high-tea in Seattle with a cozy English country vibe. You can't go wrong--
We have gone to Queen Mary for tea every year since my daughter was in elementary school. Each year the tea would have different sandwiches and treats and was
We were celebrating a birthday and this was the perfect place. We were seated immediately and the service was very good. We decided to order lunch and the food was delicious, fresh and pretty. And the tea selection is huge, of course. This was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
I often go to the Queen Mary for special occasions with family and friends It's the best!!!
The Queen Mary Tea Room is a special treat. One of my favorite places to go to for mother's day or my birthday. Charming, friendly, delicious tea selection and the Afternoon Tea is perfect and plentiful.
I made an online reservation. A few hours later I got a call asking if I could change the time. I could but then the person asking said "Thank you. Now we can seat other People". That felt a bit odd. In my reservation I mentioned it was my daughters birthday and during this phone call the person repeated this. When we arrived we were seated promptly and left to sit. Our order was taken 45 minutes later. A table to my left was seated about 20 minutes after us, ordered 15 minutes after us and got their food 15 minutes before us. The table to my right was seated 20 minutes after us and had their food 10 minutes after us. No one checked in about our food. And everywhere people had candles and birthday wishes offered but not to my daughter.
Went here with two friends for my birthday. It was the perfect spot for us! We had the afternoon tea and every piece was delicious. It was all served on an adorable tiered stand. The restaurant felt decadent while maintaining a cozy and fun environment. And of course the tea was amazing! We will definitely back!
This place was amazing! The tea was excellent and Angie was a very attentive server. We really enjoyed our time here and will most definitely be back.
This is hands down the best high tea inSeattle
Exceeded my expectations. Will be back real soon.
Such a cute place! The decor is amazing and the food and tea are wonderful! Fun place to celebrate a birthday!
We have gone here for years for afternoon tea and it has ALWAYS been fabulous. Definitely recommend.
Brought my dear friend to Queen Mary to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed a toast to Janet and the new Royal Baby with a “Markle Sparkle” . For lunch the smoked salmon quiche can not be beat! We finished off our celebration sharing a slice of Royal Wedding Cake”. Such a special day! Thanks QM! Festive & Delicious!
Always amazing to come back to the Queen Mary, we love to celebrate special occasions with dear friends here. It is one of my absolute favorite places! Charming, cozy and delicious!!!
Deserves the fine reputation it has. A wonderful place to go for special occasions.
Loved it! Ambiance was so charming. Afternoon Tea was amazing, as was the service. Highly recommend for an enjoyable afternoon.
Excellent spot for authentic English high tea. Food is wonderful.
Excellent tea and wonderful experience. The staff was extremely friendly and polite, and the food was delicious.
As always, it is a lovely way to spend the afternoon celebrating a friends birthday. Thank you for being here. Pat Eskenazi
Truly delicious food, marvelous décor and ambience, comfortable and charming, quiet enough for real conversation, lovely service -- all of these combine to create a special, fun, and thoroughly enjoyable outing. HIGHLY recommend!
A wonderful afternoon tea! Queen Mary is a Seattle Treasure.
Have been to Queen Mary many times, usually celebrating a birthday with friends. Food and tea selection is always fabulous. This is not the type of restaurant for small children, as there are breakables throughout the restaurant. I will continue to go to the Queen Mary as it is one of my favorite places.
Our lunch was elegant and tasty. Yes, this is a special place and is priced accordingly, but is well worth it.
We had a delightful Afternoon Tea for Two. The menu for tea service is imaginative, and the vegetarian accommodation was excellent. All food was tasty, you receive a more than adequate amount of savories and sweets, making it very reasonably priced. Service is gracious and attentive. The atmosphere is charming.
Be sure to check out the Emporium gift shop as well, and take home a bag of one of their many delicious tea blends.
We had a great time!!!
The ambiance and food were good, but overpriced for tea and pastries.
I brought my whole family who were visiting from Japan to this place on Saturday 4:30pm seating. It was not so busy and we had an excellent time. They were all patient and took well care of us. I definitely recommend it.
