Queen Mary Champagne Sunday Brunch Ratings and Reviews
We had a wonderful time and our server Pasquale and Jorge were so attentive, kind and super efficient. It was my birthday and asked not to have it announced, so they quietly brought over a small cheesecake with a candle and cute chocolate decor saying Happy Birthday.
The harpist plays beautiful music and we requested the Titanic theme song which she kindly acommadated us. She makes the experience so enriching. The commodore came by to greet us and share his story which was interesting and he was so friendly and sweet.
We wish oh we wish, we could come more often, but it is a pricey brunch, (we budget it in when we can afford it a special treat) but well, well worth it. Quality food, tremendous selection and outstanding personal service. We are always made to feel special. It is our favorite place truly.
Oh, and about the food...the eggs Benedict are always cooked perfectly with the yolk the way it should be. Crab legs and shrimp cocktail are the bomb!
We celebrated a birthday and the service was so very good. They refilled our beverages and cleared our dishes swiftly and with a smile. The buffet could use a few vegetarian options, maybe a nice rice or quinoa, or a tofu dish, but the seafood is exemplary! So fresh and tasty!
I really enjoyed the Sunday Brunch.
It sort of reminded be of the dining room on the movie Titanic.
The Food was good, esp the Salmon. I also liked the breakfast bar. The lady playing the harp in the center of the buffet was great. I love the harp. The service was great. It was really exciting. I was able to take in the history of the Queen Mary and tour the ship afterwards.
I would recommend to my friends and family
The food was freshly prepared and tasty. The never-ending mimosas were delicious. Every since I saw the Queen Mary's Sunday brunch featured on Food Paradise: Brunch episode I was determined to try it out. It was just as amazing as the episode portrays it to be. I was pleasingly satisfied because I planned my winter vacation around the concept of visiting the Queen Mary. We were happy to make that one of our goals during our visit to the west coast from Birmingham, Alabama. Everyone was pleased with my choice and continued to thank me for including the brunch idea in our itinerary. So thank you Queen Mary for not letting us down. We're forward to seeing you again soon!
Brought our mother for her Christmas present and had a fabulous time! The brunch was delicious. Pablo was our waiter and he was incredible, funny and always so helpful.
Just walking around the ship takes you back to an era you can't even imagine.....so glamorous.
Can't wait to come back again!
The brunch was way overpriced @ $70. There was A LOT of food, but the quality was mediocre. The salmon and shrimp was good, but the bacon and red meat absolutely bland. The dining room was beautiful, but that room—and the rest of the ship—is badly in need of repair.
Wonderful Sunday day out to see the Queen Mary and have a delicious, easy going brunch. Many many foods and types of food to choose from. No pressure to leave, take your time and eat/taste the many options. Also, the unlimited champagne and mimosas add to the experience. I recommended the brunch to co-workers. I also bring my family and friends that visit me from out of state to the brunch. It is always a great hit!!!
Very disappointed. We had been to the brunch several years ago and I remember liking the food and the ambiance. We went to celebrate New Years day and a birthday and I couldn't be more disappointed by the whole experience. The boat was worn down and the brunch hall looks dumpy and unkempt, the chairs old and the windows so dirty. The food was good but there was not a huge deal to choose from in comparison to the price. With tax and service and tip it turns out to be about $80 per person. We paid over $450 dollars for 4 people. Soooo overpriced vs the experience. The place was like 3/4 empty and the wait staff although friendly didn't really go above and beyond to make it any better. They couldn't even remember what each person was drinking at our table and kept asking every single time what it was. The harpist playing was really nice just really hard to see in the middle of the buffet tables. The kid food options were super unhealthy and looked uneatable. Not worth the money $ if it was less per person maybe it would be Ok for a brunch but at such a high price I would expect the place to at least be more up to par and better kept up.
We were pleased with our experience. The food quality was high, given the number of people being served, and the service was EXCELLENT. Our only regret was that our table wasn’t closer to the harpist who was playing — but we did like being in a quieter part of the salon.
Selection of food was very good and very tasty. Would have given it a five star but the food that was supposed to be hot was just warm or room temperature. The all you can eat crab legs were on the cold side of the room which I’ve never had before and would prefer them to be hot.
So bottom line $80 a person for warm food is not something I would do again.
Three of us enjoyed Thanksgiving champagne brunch in 2016. Ten of us celebrated Christmas brunch in 2017. We were very pleased with both occasions. Coincidentally, Martin took care of us on both occasions. He was very attentive and kept our glasses full, removed plates quickly. The harpist playing adds to the Queen Mary grand ballroom experience. The food is good and so many choices to choose from, but to be in the vintage ballroom adds to the ambiance, making it a very special memory. We felt comfortable, not being rushed to get out. We sat at a round table and able to hear the person across from us. We had a grand ballroom experience.
A wonderful experience as in times past. A nostalgic event accompanied with a lovely harp player. We did miss the chocolate fondue tower though. Service was on point. So glad to take my children and mother along. Would love to come stay as a guest eventually.
Great Dining Experience!
We were able to get seated right away even though we were 30 minutes early which was nice. Food was great overall although the crab legs (which LOOKED great ) were cold and very watery. (Like they had been frozen and just defrosted so lots of moisture throughout the meat.) Would have been much better warmed and with drawn butter! Also eggs bendict was over-cooked and cold. (A disappointment as something I look forward to at a brunch. ) All of your sausages were FABULOUS! Tortellini was great as was Hawaiian shrimp dish and Mexican food. Nice cheeses and meats. Staff were pleasant. No long lines at stations waiting your turn which was also very nice particularly because it was Christmas day so thought it would have been very very busy. Nice large room with authentic and festive atmosphere. Harpist was a very nice touch. THANK-YOU FOR A memorable Christmas meal!
