Amazing experience and service was exceptional. Manager Juan Gonzales who has worked on the ship for over 30 years gave us a quick tour and spent 30 minutes talking to us about his experience and how he loved the Queen Mary so much. He must really be recognized as his passion showed in every word he described Queen Mary and how much he loved her as it has provided for him a life. It is this exemplary type of passion driving Managers and anyone who makes the visitor’s experience an unforgettable one specially for my teenage girls. Would definitely recommend as there’s so much history in this experience. We will visit when we are back in Cali and have lunch there. Thank you and big Abrazo to Juan Gonzales
My first time. Every year I sleep at the wheel and miss out on Easter brunch and end up at the Coronado Hotel. Must say this was an excellent brunch and I would highly recommend and return. Service is top notch-very attentive.
High quality food, great variety of food types awesome atmosphere. Somewhat pricey, but worth it.
Wouldn’t miss it. Beautiful and fun! The food was delicious and a large variety. They also keep your champagne glass full!
The food and service were great, but the price was ridiculous.
Not very many vegetarian options… Outside of salad and pastries...Great atmosphere and I enjoyed listening to the band playing
I have been to this brunch before but many years ago. It is isways delicious and the atmosphere wonderful. I'm glad Carnival Cruise Limes talking over the QM didn't change the brunch. I gave an overall 4 stars because they took out the Italian station and that was the best station there next to the seafood. Also, the salad optipns were too limited. My local pizza place gives more sald bar options than the brunch did.
Great brunch would recommend for anyone coming to area
Staff was friendly and courteous. Our plates were cleared very quickly and our water and other drinks were continuously refilled without having to ask. The best food, ambiance and service I have had in quite some time. Would strongly recommend the Sunday brunch!
Very good experience and great food. Still, too expensive.
The meal was pricey but it was worth it if you want to go on the tours also - you can get a discounted rate for those tours..otherwise it is too expensive.
Staying on board
The service & location was beautiful. The food available other than the carving stations was standard. The carved prime rib & able to request the end cut was great, the brisket was really good. The mimosas flowed freely & coffee was refilled promptly. I made my reservation & noted it was a birthday celebration but was disappointed when my table didn't get the happy birthday with the Captain. It was just two of us so I was able to ask the waiter with the birthday person being aware. That was a glitch.
It's good in overall. But I really think the price should be around $50.
I enjoyed our time there. The food was awesome. Loved all the stations. The ambiance was fantastic. I only have one complaint, and that is to be careful who you contract with on deserts. I had a cake pop that I bit into and there was a piece of hair and that made me amd my family not want you try any of the deserts afterwards. The manager was apologetic and he even comped my meal for the trouble.
Enjoyed our Bruch SO much. It is spendy, but for a special occasion or friends getting together a couple of times a year I would definitely recommend it. The atmosphere is amazing as were the servers. We had a grand time and plan on a repeat trip later in the year.
This was our 2nd time at the Sunday brunch, our service was horrible. It took 10-15 minutes to initially make a drink order then another 15 minutes to get the drinks. We were not regularly offered champagne. We had to ask constantly. The waiter even had the nerve to say we didn't need to chug it...how rude. I was completely underwhelmed by the service. It made for an unfortunate meal. Not sure we'll come back especially for the price. Service should be without a doubt top notch. The food was wonderful and delicious. Every dish aside from the crab legs were on point. The crab legs weren't very good tasted old and soggy. Otherwise the meal was good. I just wished the service had been up to par.
What an experience, the ambiance was excellent, sitting in the art decco dining room of the Queen Mary! Excellent food and service. Definitely a great destination and worth the trip if in Long Beach, California
We had a fabulous time on our "babymoon" aboard the Queen Mary! The Sunday brunch was a fantastic and delicious way to end a great weekend on the ship... Even if mommy-to-be couldn't partake in the all you can drink champagne!!
Great food, great place and awesome service. I highly recommend it for special romantic occassions.
My husband and I invited my parents for a Sunday Brunch at the Queen Mary since they had never experienced it before. My mom and dad really enjoyed the variety in their menu and especially liked the desserts that were on display. The music the harpist was playing was very relaxing and only made the ambiance that much better. All our favorite breakfast items were there as well as an assortment of Mexican, Asian and American dishes. We plan to come back soon as we enjoyed everything.
Everything was excellent, but my service was a little on the poor side. I ate most meal without a beverage. My server tried. It seemed she was assigned tables at different ends of the dining area. Not the most efficient plan. It's a large dining area. It took forever to get my check and get on with my day when I was finished eating. Other than that everything was excellent. I will be returning.
As always the Queen Mary sets the standard for an Amazing brunch experience
Unfortunately the Queen appears pretty tired. The wood needs polished, he port holes need cleaned, The carpet is threadbare in places. The food was ok. The buffet was squeezed if fairly tightly. The service was very good.
Nothing special about the foods. The breakfast section is traditional and simple. The international section is very limited and not tasty. The seafood section is fresh with small king crab but very limited. The desert section is also limited but I don't care much. My date got a little upset with the service. She asked for champagne refill. The waitress came back like 10 minutes later to refill. The ambiance and the atmosphere is nice. It's because we are eating on the Queen Mary ship and there was a harp player performed beautiful music. I guess we paid for ambiance and the atmosphere, not the foods and services.
This wonderful ship gives so much. Somehow my Birthday Cake I ordered was forgotten But that would not faze me. So much funnnnn. Love the boat💥💥💥💥💥☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️🌈🌈🌈🌈☁️☁️🌥🌥
Pretty good all around. Ambiance was very nice. Pretty cool dining in the same spot where so many famous folks previously dined and celebrated while speeding across the Atlantic. The ship is the attraction. The brunch is very good, but a good brunch can be had almost anywhere. There is only one Queen Mary!
This is about the fourth time I have enjoyed the Queen Mary’s Brunch and I am never disappointed! This time I brought my beautiful beast friend for the anniversary of the beginning of our friend ship and it was beyond anything she expected. It was her first time and she could not believe how beautiful the whole experience was and I was so pleased that she saw it for everything I knew it was. As always, the staff makes this feel like a five star experience!! Thank you so much and I will be back very soon!
Sunday brunch was fantastic as always , especially the harp player. But the service to refill drinks was really slow ..
I really like this place, the old world view of what ships looked like back in the day. Bruce was fabulous. Hash browns and ketchup areally worth coming back for.
The ambiance, history, waterfront view, craftmanship and furnishings of the Queen Mary are absolutely one-of-a-kind! The food is equally remarkable and the service is first class all the way!
Such a great experience! It was my first time having Sunday brunch there and they had every kind of food imaginable there. Our servers were so attentive and friendly, and we really felt like first-class passengers. I’ll definitely be back!
Last year we celebrated my birthday on the Queen Mary. This year we took Mom back for her 75th Birthday. The ship is beautiful, the grand dining hall is historic and lovely, the food is plentiful and delicious, and the service is top-notch!
Lovely, overall. Beautiful setting and great food. Desserts were mediocre but that would be my ONLY suggestion for improvement. Enjoyed it tremendously and the staff was superb!!!
Brunch was excellent. Loved the variety and the atmosphere. Also the harpist was wonderful as well.
Over priced, atmosphere ok. Food display or presentation, I expected more.
Love the sunday brunch, wouldn't change a thing about it. Good food, great service!!!!!
We had a wonderful time and our server Pasquale and Jorge were so attentive, kind and super efficient. It was my birthday and asked not to have it announced, so they quietly brought over a small cheesecake with a candle and cute chocolate decor saying Happy Birthday.
The harpist plays beautiful music and we requested the Titanic theme song which she kindly acommadated us. She makes the experience so enriching. The commodore came by to greet us and share his story which was interesting and he was so friendly and sweet.
We wish oh we wish, we could come more often, but it is a pricey brunch, (we budget it in when we can afford it a special treat) but well, well worth it. Quality food, tremendous selection and outstanding personal service. We are always made to feel special. It is our favorite place truly.
Oh, and about the food...the eggs Benedict are always cooked perfectly with the yolk the way it should be. Crab legs and shrimp cocktail are the bomb!
We celebrated a birthday and the service was so very good. They refilled our beverages and cleared our dishes swiftly and with a smile. The buffet could use a few vegetarian options, maybe a nice rice or quinoa, or a tofu dish, but the seafood is exemplary! So fresh and tasty!
Great place for a special occasion.
