Quattro - South Beach Ratings and Reviews
Too bad our server had to tell us that he would not recommend adding Parmesan cheese to my dinner of clams and linguine after I specifically asked for it. “The chef would not recommend it”. It was like “ no soup for you”!!hey if I want more cheese pour it on! Omg
I was there with two of my best friends the experience was amazing the short ribs something to die for my appetizer was outstanding loved the meatballs. not to mention the house red wine 🍷
A server his name Carlos I think he just came from Italy. This men was polite and very professional and had wine knowledge and food knowledge ask for him .!
I recommend Quattro to everyone if you looking for a place to eat on Lincoln road this is it
We had a very nice experience at Quattro. Luca the Mgr was very attentive as well as Guillermo our server. The food was delicious on all a ccounts. They have embraced Miami Spice and I would recommend it. Go early if you want a quite experience as it gets busier through the night.
I will keep this one on the Miami Spice list!
Have been going to this restaurant for years with my family. I brought my mother who has celiac disease and we informed our waiter of her condition. She orders salmon and when it comes out she asked the waiter if the sauce had any gluten in it and he said no just butter. She verified "is there any flour" and he said no. After she proceeded to eat her meal the waiter comes out and grabs the plate, remarking it did, indeed have flour. When she was flabbergasted the waiter had the audacity to say "well you only ate a little of it so you should be fine. Considering this man could not serve our meal correctly, he was in no condition to prescribe the terms of my mothers illness and should leave the medical advice to those who have the proper equation to do so. And, after our whole ordeal, without a comp or a credit we left having to pay a mandatory 20% tip. I guess such place that does not value customor loyalty should no longer deserve it!
The wait staff wanted us out of there pretty fast it appeared even though there were many open tables for a Monday night. While I am not a celebrity and did not have a $500 meal with my date, I have had much better service during my stay in Miami. Of my 5 night stay this was my worse dining experience mainly because of the waiter we had.
Food was excellent. The service level was average at best. Our waiter essentially disappeared as the meal progressed and when we inquired as to his whereabouts we were told he left. We had to ask people walking by to remove glasses and get us water refills. While the salad and entree were delivered promptly, the dessert took prompting to get to the table. We are unlikely to return as the service experience was disappointing. Given the price point of this restaurant, this level of service is not acceptable.
Outrageously expensive for a mediocre Italian restaurant. We had 4 young children with us, all of which ordered pasta and butter. They charged us $18/ plate for a small order of mushy pasta. We paid $72 for kid meals. Staff was pushy and unfriendly. Very disappointed. Skip this one.
The food is absolutely fantastic. I travel all over the world and rate the food as the best Italian and one of the best meals I've ever had.
We dined with our kids and all four of us enjoyed our meals tremendously.
Our coeliac daughter thought the gluten free pasta was brilliant.
The gnocchi was divine.
We came back 2 nights later !!
We ordered from the special and limited Miami Spice menu. Appetizer and bread starter was fine. Entree, chicken cacciatora, was just okay, chosen from 3 options...the other 2 options were a somewhat plain penne (no meat as part of that dish) or a seafood soup. Chicken was difficult to eat, since it was on-bone with skin, saucy (so, it was messy), with not much meat on those bones. It was a struggle to cut much meat off a wing, what looked like 1/4 of the breast and, perhaps, part of the back, not to mention getting rid of the flabby chicken skin. The sauce it was cooked in and about 1/2 cup of cubed potato had good flavor. Only one dessert is offered on the Miami Spice menu, so there's no option. If you like the texture of a creamy, gelatin dessert similar to vanilla flan, you will be happy; otherwise, not so much. The fresh berries served alongside the dessert made it look good. Three courses for the Miami Spice lunch price is fair...but being unable to eat the chicken made us feel like we made a wrong choice. Had we known, we would have ordered the plainer penne dish.
Went for lunch. The chemical smell inside he restaurant was unbearable, had to sit outside. First course was carpaccio, had to send it back, taste was off. Replaced by bland kale, quinoa, goat cheese salad. Main course was chicken cacciatora , sauce was tasty but very salty. Dessert was panna cota with Nutella. What came out was topped with a runny chocolate topping. Very disappointed in this place and will not be back.
