Very nice selections and well prepared. The appetizer buffer was a bit limited in selection, but since you are also served a plated main course it was more than enough. The dessert buffet was amazing. My favorite was the pineapple upside down cake with salted caramel icing... how can that be bad! It also includes a glass of prosecco in the price. One suggestion is to be a little less trendy with the recipes. Example, the chicken and waffle syrup was jalapeño infused maple. I would have preferred simple REAL maple syrup. But overall very nice in a beautiful sunny room.
Really poor experience here. Food was very subpar/average for a beautiful restaurant.
Loud and poor food
Service was excellent
Went here with my mother for Easter dinner. There weren't many other people in the restaurant, which was fine with us. Everyone who waited on us was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was delicious and the kitchen did a great job accommodating my food allergies. The only down side is that it was cold inside; we asked them if they could warm it up but it never did get warmer, perhaps because of the very high ceilings and all the glass. It was also nice to see the fire pits and patio lights outside through the glass. I imagine it must be nice to sit out there on warmer nights. Prices were a little high also, but that's not unexpected for a Four Seasons.
New server and he seemed a bit overwhelmed.. we are very regulars and service has never been an issue before...
Food is horrible. We ordered shrimp
Food is excellent, but the noise level is almost painful and it was not a busy night. We requested a quiet table, but glass walls and hard surfaces amplify the usual restaurant sounds. The restaurant should do something about this.
Outstanding service.
When relatively full really to noisy to carry on a conversation unless you are right next to the other person. All surfaces in the room are hard so all sounds bounce around.
Though I go to the SV4S frequently (because of location), the food has become inedible, the service has become slow and it is too noisy to have a business meeting, and the pricing is ridiculous. Chefs always say that when dishes are picked up after a meal, "they don't lie". Well, all 5 our plates went back full. None of us could eat any of the gfood,
Good service and dishes were prepared expertly.
Unusually noisy
Unusually slow service
Unusually unaccommodating kitchen to dietary preferences
From the valet parking all the way through my birthday dinner, everything was perfect. The waiter was fantastic, the bread was soft and warm, the appetizers (mushrooms) were lovely to look at and better to eat; the wild boar pasta small plate was so good I wished I'd ordered it as my entree'. Hubby had the $85 New York and said it was fantastic. My lobster tails were perfectly done and dessert was yummy. A perfect ending to a beautiful day!
Birthday dinner!
Scott was an amazing server! We made our birthday anniversary celebration evening very special!
Squab and beet puree bucatini was amazing. The rest of the meal was good, not exceptional.
Great place to eat with friends, clients, family. Food is not only beautiful, it tastes great!
Just a fantastic meal, excellent service, wonderful setting!
Holiday dinner with grandparents
Great experience with good and stadf
As usual, this is an easy to get to place. Good parking, great service, upscale ambiance. A bit expensive and it can be loud, so ask for a quite place for business meeting. It worked for us on a recent meeting.
Very nice ambience. Gracious service; quiet.
Prices are a total ripoff. I had the chicken which was an adequate portion, well cooked. The accompaniments, two vegetables and an eggplant purée in such microscopic amounts, buried in a cloying sauce which masked their identity. They mDe a substitution for me which they said might cost extra until I shamed them out of it.
There were only two of us, and we had chicken and pasta respectively and had no appetizer, soup, dessert or wine, so this was in no way reflective of the quality of the overall menu, certain entrees of which, alone were $75. If you had a full, multi course meal with a glass of wine with tip, could be ~ $150.
I would place this in the hotel rip-off category, so if you go, be ready for a hefty wallet biopsy which I do not think is value received for ordinary dining.
I’ve been here a few times for brunch and although the food is good, I’m consistently underwhelmed by the service.
Our waiter was really loud. The restaurant was very quiet. I used the Groupon, and for a vegetarian it was not worth it. Quite expensive even with the discount. The food was decent, but not worth $225 for two people. My wife thought we should have gone to Taco Bell for our anniversary and spent $10 instead, and bought her a purse for $215.
I've been coming to Quattro for several years with clients and have very much enjoyed the high quality food, great service and great wines. This most recent visit, unfortunately, fell short of my expectations from a service point of view. The waiter lacked the usual enthusiasm and friendliness I've previously enjoyed on all previous visits. Further, he forgot to bring my wine prior to the main course - I needed to remind him. Hopefully, next time I will be assigned a better server.
Box was pushed off shelf by staff and fell on one of the guests, injuring shoulder. While management apologized, did very little otherwise. We left with a very negative feeling about our dining experience.
Thanksgiving
Nothing not to like here. Outdoor patio seating next to the fire pit, great food and service.
Quattro is the restaurant at the Silicon Valley Four Seasons Hotel off of Highway 101. Close to VC firms, Quattro is busier serving business dinners on weeknights than it is serving friends and couples on weekends. We came for our anniversary and the wait staff were excited. We heard “Happy Anniversary” from nearly everyone.
Drinks were great, food was mostly great, but so pricey. Also, the high ceiling architecture and sandstone bricks make me feel like I’m at Stanford. Not quite what I’m looking for on date night.
There are nice fire pits outside for the cocktail crowd. We’ll definitely check those out next time.
Fabulous!!
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. When I made my lunch reservation online, I mentioned that my wife and I were going to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. This Four Seasons hotel was where we stayed on our wedding night. The staff remembered our special occasion and to our pleasant surprise, went above and beyond with their service. When we received our menus, we realized it was customized with a congratulatory message on top addressed to us specifically. The servers kept giving us warm anniversary wishes. Lastly, they offered a complimentary dessert with a "Happy 10th Anniversary" message on the plate. It was very special. My only critique, which is minor compared to the positives, is that the spaghetti plate we received was too peppery. The dish would've tasted perfect with less pepper in it. That's it. Everything else was great!
I would highly recommend their pasta tasting dishes. Excellent service.
This restaurant is pricey, but in my opinion well worth it.
What we drank: Beefeater Martini, various wines and coffee.
What we ate: funghi trifolati, bucatini nero alle vongole, bone-in piedmontese ribeye 16oz, on the shell lobster tail, s'more for me. All were superb. The steak was cooked exactly to my specifications. The cut per se and the method of cooking make for a dramatically succulent flavor and texture.
The service was impeccable. Our server knew the details of every menu item. He offered suggestions that were quite helpful. We were never rushed and were at the table for more than two hours.
I hosted a major political figure and two of his team. I chose Quattro because of the proximity to the freeway and the quality of the luncheon menu. Two of us started with gazpacho, which was excellent. We all had different entrees, and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I had my usual, off-the-menu Cobb salad. It was excellent. The service was great. Becca is always attentive.
I dine at Quattro many times and I never been disappointed. I shared 2 dishes with my colleague and I was extremely please to see that they divided the dishes in advance for both of us what it is very nice.
The service is outstanding.
I highly recommended this place for any occasion; business, romantic diner near fire place, or family diner if you are willing to accept the high price, but it is worth it!
The ambiance, food and service are all phenomenal. I would highly recommend for a date night, business meeting or get-together with friends.
As I often do, I took a business colleague to Quattro for lunch. We ate outside, which was very pleasant. We both order the gazpacho to start and ordered a Cobb salad (off the menu). Both were excellent. Our server, whom I have had many times, was very attentive and excellent. All in all, another excellent business luncheon.
Absolutely absurdly expensive. For example, wines by the glass at prices in the $30 to $60 range. I asked the waitress if they had any red wines at $12 or under for a glass, and she apologized and said no. So we ordered water. The water was $7.50 a bottle, one for each of the two of us. So, $15.00 for water!! I am not a cheapskate and I can afford such prices, but that doesn't mean that I enjoy being ripped off. The value just simply doesn't correspond to the prices. Not returning anytime soon.
Always a reliable place to take clients. Service is excellent and even unhealthy is served with smaller portions. Salads are always inventive. No one ever turns down my invitation for lunch at Quattro. Also breakfast is very good with a wide selection.
