Service was amazing and food was very good.
Really good pizza and a nice menu of Italian offerings. Friendly and attentive wait staff. We will be back!
2nd visit, had the pizza this time. Delicious crust. The pasta was pretty good. Our drinks were a little disappointing this visit. Still recommend.
Great - maybe the best in Austin - hand made pizza. I don’t take that lightly. I’m from NY and I love HomeSlice - but this among the best. Also had fettuccine salmone - this time with marinara instead of cream sauce. Awesome!
Really good pizza and bread, not too many veggie pasta options.
Excellent food and great friendly service
Holy cow! What a great meal and great staff! They took care of us like family. Our whole group was blown away with their hospitality. The food was wonderful.
Such a gem and I almost don’t want to tell everyone about it for fear it’ll become crowded! We went recently for a show at the Paramount and wanted to come here - I remembered it from working downtown. It’s away from the wildness of 6th, the food is delicious & service right on. Even the restroom is designed beautifully! This is Austin!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance
While the pizza was very good, we unfortunately had poor service. We sat in a corner table and no one came to speak with us for about 20 mins. We ordered meatballs (an appetizer), and they did not come out until after we finished our salad and pizza, so we sent them back. I would like to try this place again, but a word of advice: do not sit in the corner!
Good service except they forgot to bring the 2nd entree to our table until we asked the 3rd time. Calamari was like rubber. Chicken marsala sauce was very thin on the flavor.
Best Italian food in Austin! Always a great place to come for a celebration. The service is very friendly.
Very good food and service! Feels like a family owned restaurant that locals go to, as well as tourists. Try the tomato and basil bruschetta- amazing! The Tortellini Alla Panna with peas and prosciutto- fantastic! Servers are very warm and friendly, too! They also have pizza that looked great. Restaurant has a full bar with wine options, as well. Definitely would go again.
My husband and I come to Quattro Gatti every time we go to the Paramount Theater, which is pretty close. This restaurant never disappoints, the food is great and the staff is very attentive.
Food was overall very good. Vegetables were a little over cooked to my taste but we enjoyed the meal very much. The owner was attentive as was our waitress.
Delish food! Great experience.
First, let me say that our waitress was very gracious and attentive. We started off with a delicious Sgroppino. But regrettably, the food was less than mediocre, and in one case fraudulent. An antipasto item was listed as prosciutto with fig but it came out as prosciutto with fig jam. Very disappointing.
Restaurant was hot inside and uncomfortable while dining. Food was ok but not worth the complexities around parking downtown.
Zach is the best server!
Having eaten here on many occasions in the past, I was expecting similar service and food quality. This visit was by far the WORST for service. My appetizer, salad and main course were all delivered to table in less than 5 minutes. As a result, salad got hot and meal (sepcial pasta with shrimp) got cold. Also, the cappucino after dinner was awful (it was removed from bill for that reason).
The food and service were excellent. Our only negative is on both visits the A/C was not working well and the restaurant was warm.
We went there on a recommendation. This was our anniversary. We were not disappointed! The waitress was very friendly and helpful with selections. The food was fresh and beautifully plated. My only negative would be that service was a little "too fast". How often is that a problem? If I lived in Austin I would come here often!
Amazing service and wonderful food and drinks! The bartender was especially awesome! Will be back! FYI we had a larger party and thankfully were told in advance that they wouldn't split the check. Thank God for Venmo!
Location was perfect for a quick meal before a show at the Paramount. Service was quick but waiters seemed a little inexperienced. Didn't seem to know menu items very well. But they were polite. The meal we had was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend this for lunch or dinner, date and good people watching.
Excellent food and service
Giancomo does what every restaurant in Austin wishes they could do. The food is beyond exceptional and the service is incredible. If you love Italian food this is the restaurant to go to in Texas!
Food was delicious & the service was & always is perfect. Zach, our server, was very attentive & personable.
I always love this place! We had the fabulous gnocchi and a yummy lemon sorbet cocktail. Our sweet waitress was top-notch, too!
All of the food was fresh, expertly prepared, well seasoned, and delicious. The portions were very large and the value was also excellent.
Very loud restaurant. Food is mediocre. Our service was excellent though. The bartender, Zach, waited on us. He was wonderful.
Hands down the best meal we had in Austin and the best carbonara I’ve ever had. The owner was so kind and entertained us at the bar and offered wonderful suggestions
The service was excellent. I reserved a table for 12 for my birthday, and the server attended to all of our needs in a very timely fashion, with accurate orders. She was readily available and attentive, and, as a former server, I appreciated that. The food, however, could be better. I enjoyed my gnocchi, except for that it was a little too salty. My boyfriend was unsatisfied with his spaghetti bolognese. My cousin had the rigatoni truffle sausage special, which, according to my boyfriend who tried it, was delicious. I will say that the cannoli was great. Coming from NYC, I had yet to find a place that had an accurate cannoli, and this place got the flavor correctly. I'm very glad the restaurant was able to accommodate to such a large group.
Excellent food and service. The wine list was small but adequate. I love the atmosphere, though it is a bit noisy - not a huge deal, but we probably should have sat outside for conversation. I'll be back!
It was a perfect place for a large group of us to celebrate my Mother’s birthday. The downtown location was convenient and the Restaurant’s interior was charming. The food and wine were reasonably priced. The Italian bread was amazing and the food delicious. Excellent service.
The food was great and the outdoor seating was perfect for a spring evening.
Had a rez for 12, they squeezed us into a table for 10. Ordered lunch, and 30 mins later they brought salads and entrees at same time,, but for only 9 of us. 30 mins later two remaing orders came out. One person never got their lunch. Manager was useless. Wont ever return.
Although the food was okay and the setting was pleasant, I felt that the experience at this restaurant was a little bit lackluster. The furniture and finishes in the restaurant are worn. The service although okay, was indifferent to us as a table. There are some great options on the menu, some much simpler than others and not really that special. We had the house gnocchi along the prosciutto fig foccace and the gnocchi was light and delicious but the foccace was not particularly unique or difficult to make.
Good but not spectacular. Not overly expensive by downtown Austin standards, but not inexpensive either.
One of our favorite Italian places. They have some of the best pasta dishes like the gnocchi, so good! Some great Italian wines to enjoy with your meal or a full bar if you prefer.
