Quattro - Four Seasons Hotel - Houston Ratings and Reviews
This has to be one of the gems in Houston. The location is perfect, the food outstanding, the service and wine selection top notch. The decor is elegant and understated, excellent for date night or business meal. They even validate parking for dinner and brunch.
We went for Restaurant Weeks. I'm an admitted Italian food snob, so I'm hard on Italian restaurants. And this could just be that I like recipes the way they're supposed to be, not with all the new culinary additions and subtractions, which is why the lower score on the food. It was all good, but Panzanella is a peasant dish with lots of bread, tomatoes, olive oil and other things all mixed together. This was a prissy little combo nothing like the original. The food was good, just not what I was looking forward to. The panna cotta was very good. The carbonara was pretty good, just not like they do it in Italy.
I discovered brasiolla...It's my choice of cold cuts now. I had the snapper wich was delusciously cooked just enough, not dry not overcooked. It melts in my mouth. I am VERY picky with fish and this is just perfect. My diner ended with their version of canoli....Simply devine.
Sunday brunch was amazing! Extensive options including breakfast, salads, charcuterie, sushi/sashimi, seafood (including oysters & caviar), meats, and desserts. The buffet stations are setup throughout the restaurant into the kitchen. Staff are incredibly friendly, and always filling your glass with coffee, champagne, mimosa, bellini, or bloody mary (which are included). At $70pp its certainly not inexpensive, but well worth the quality of the food and service of the staff. Also, if you park at the hotel they will validate your ticket.
I went on a weekend night and it was dead in the restaurant. There was one other table eating when we came in... The service was good but the food not so much. I expected much better being in the Four Seasons. I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone.
The food was delicious and the wait staff gave us perfect recommendations. They made accommodations for 2 special dietary restrictions and it turned out perfect. The only problem was we were late because we didn't want to leave! The table side tiramisu kept is wanting more!
This was hands down the best restaurant my boyfriend and I have ever been to in our lives. Quattro had amazing service, delicious food, beautiful scenery, all for a surprisingly great price. I am a vegetarian and I'm very allergic to eggs so it's often very difficult for me to find good food without steep prices but this place absolutely outdid itself.
