Our menu is constantly evolving as a reflection of our focus to serve the best and freshest the valley's local artisans and west coast markets can provide. We are dedicated to providing you with a beautiful setting and the ultimate food and wine experience in the Okanagan Valley. The Province (January 2007) Best places to un-wine. The New York Times (October 2006) - "Beyond our tables, the panorama of the lakefront, watercraft wake lines and row upon row of grapevines, with mountains in the distance, was mesmerizing." Wine Spectator (July 2004)- "One of the four best places to dine in the Okanagan."

Excellent gluten free bread which you have to ask for and wait while they make it fresh.
Wife had the cod was good size and decent flavor. I had the ribeye was rather bland and the sauces provided did not elevate the dish at all. Really enjoyed the Gosh wine.

The service and our server was excellent. The wine was superb - cab. 2016. However, we both had the ribeye steak and the cuts were terrible. I would have thought that 30 day dry aged meat would be more tender.

Beautiful spot for date night, greated promptly at the door and seated quickly. For appetizers we had the tuna and warm clams, they were delicious. For the main we had Ling Cod and the Cornish Game Hen. They were absolutely delicious. Paired with a beautiful Merlot. Definitely will be going back, we go at least once a year. Always a fabulous place to take out of town guests.

We were a groupof 3 ladies for our Christmas lunch. Good service , nice table and delicious wine. I ordered the clams which I have had before and found them not as good as the last time, heavy on the tomatos and they could have been steamed a bit longer as a few were still closed and a few not fully opened. Everything else we had was wonderful , especially love the Truffle fries! Looking forward to trying out the happy hour.

It is an awesome place. Food, view, wine and service were all phenomenal. Can’t tell you how good the soup and meal were; just amazing. The only (and it’s small) issue was that the ice cream wasn’t smooth. There were a lot of ice crystals in it which took away from the consistency of everything else we experienced. It was my own fault to some extent because I knew we were being shepherded to another dessert item which my husband had and met all expectations. Overall = Phenomenal. Love it!

We were not aware that Sunday Brunch menu was in effect until we arrived. While a little disappointed, the Brunch menu did provide a reall good Eggs Benedict.
Perhaps the Sunday lunch situation should be posted on line.
We will still return in the future, as it was a great experience.

Second visit there and second time seeing cobwebs in the restaurant.
There were maybe five tables filled the whole time we were there. Not sure why a group had to be seated right behind us, when there was plenty of other seats available.
Got annoyed with the 2 phone calls, day before and morning of reservation, calling to confirm.
Got an e-mail thanking me for our visit, before we had even been there.

I am local and at this time do not a have a desire to come back.
While the food was good, my taste isn't that fancy or expensive.
Maybe a more casual menu in the off season to bring out the locals.

Great venue and good food but pricey. Pet peeve - relatively expensive restaurant that charges extra for a small basket of ordinary bread.

We went here on the recommendation of our kids who highly recommended it. We were not disappointed. The waitress was fantastic, attentive but not overly intrusive. She made a recommendation on the meals and on the wine. Both of them were great!. We had a table at the window which gave us a great view of the lights on the other side of the lake. The only downside was that there was a cool draft so we had to wear jackets if we wanted to stay warm. It is expensive but it was well worth what we paid. Great evening and we would highly recommend it.

Menu is not extensive but the options are done extremely well. Beautifully presented, delicious, and well put together for flavour. Service was great on all the occasions we have been there. The restaurant is beautiful and the views are amongst the best in the Okanagan. Although it is on the high end price wise it's easy to recommend when you are feeling ready to splurge on a great dining experience in a lovely ambience.

Always love the setting at Quails Gate and the food is good. I just wish they would change up the menu a bit and provide a few more options. Soup was cold when it came to the table (never understand why a chef serving up would not check this?), but once reheated, it was very good.

Quails Gate has an amazing setting and ambiance. I had the Cornish hen which was excellent and very flavourful! I love being able to get the flight of wines so you get to sample several wines not just one.
This is not a restaurant if you are looking for a cheap meal.

Beautiful location but unfortunately food didn't live up to all the hype. A group of us were there for brunch. I chose the omelet with potatoes which was just ok. The potatoes were cooked in too much oil so they were a bit greasy. The spinach and cheese omelette was quite bland. The price was ok but I expected more based on it's reputation.

This was our 2nd time @ Quails' Gate. The 1st was lunch a few days previous. We were disappointed w/ dinner; the room was noisy, & the quick movement of the staff didn’t make of relax. My fish, cod, was over-seasoned, so, I didn't eat much of it. My wife’s pork was very tough. The appetizes were great! The burrata salad had many great flavors, &, the special app, tortellini w/ mushrooms had great earthy mushroom flavors. The reason we came back was the lunch was OUTSTANDING. We sat outside looking @ the vineyards. Sorry, I don't remember what we had, but it was also great!
