Q Sushi only serves fresh cuisine with local, fresh ingredients selected each day, so the restaurant's menu changes constantly. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner five days a week. Items that have been featured on the menu in the past at Q Sushi include braised octopus, dashi marinated seaweed, caviar, Santa Barbara uni and egg dessert. The restaurant offers one full course dinner option each night for every table and the chef personally greets each guest and explains the meal to them, for a very personable and authentic sushi experience.
Great décor for a sushi place. Will definitely go back. A bit pricy though!
Good fresh sushi. Wish the variety of rolls was a little better. Disappointed in their cocktail offerings. Very limited menu. Service was mediocre. Had to ask for water and another service to add to our order. Good wine selection. I also got takeout from the restaurant this week and they do an excellent job with take out!
Best service ever and the food was great.
Our meals were not brought out at the same time.. complained to the waitress who just made excuses. The manager comped one meal. Won't be going back. Pricey.
Great food, great service, great drinks, great place!
Bad- no host to greet us and had no acknowledgement by staff for over 5 minutes as they a walked by us. Also once greeted it was hard to understand host as he was timid and we felt like he had no idea what to do with us.
Once sat down we had no server for at least 5 minutes.
Good- once we had waiter acknowledge us he and the staff was great
Top notch establishment. The food and drinks are fantastic as well as the service! Highly recommend Q Sushi!
Absolutely amazing place with a highly diverse menu and fabulously knowledgeable wait staff! Charity took care of us Father’s Day and really made us feel special and appreciated! Great food, great place, great location, great help!!
I’m a Sushi novice, and the smoky salmon roll was fabulous. Definitely recommend the black rice. My husband is a sushi afficianado, travels worldwide, and he was very impressed with the freshness of the food. He got the Dynnamite Roll with the fried shrimp and it was delicious. The miso soup was meh, the house salad wth ginger dressing was yummy. We sat outside on the patio, and it was very nice. Music is a bit too loud for date conversation. We will definitely go back!!
The best sushi by far in Los Angeles. You must try the Toro belly albeit a bit pricey absolutely worth it. This is even better than matsuhisa in Beverly Hills. Melt-in-your-mouth sushi. I won't go anywhere else!
I was looking for a quality sushi restaurant in our area and you surpassed my expectations!
Great fresh food food and beautiful ambience.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Always a good start!
I will be back with my family.
This was for my girlfriends birthday, though I forgot to say so. My bad.
The quality of the fish is unsurpassed. Great service. Nice presentations of the dishes served. One selection, the trumpet mushrooms, were rubbery and not edible to my taste. I had another person in our party try the mushrooms, and they agreed that this appetizer was substandard. We sat outside, and had a nice conversation. The noise level inside on Friday night was much higher than outdoors, although everyone seemed to be having a great time. Would definitely go back to Q Sushi.
Great service and great food. Everything is fantastic
Always great fish and service .
I'm a picky and self-proclaimed sushi snob eater. This place has by far the freshest, melt-in-your-mouth sushi in LA County. Period. If you use Nobu/Matsuhista as the golden rule of the best sushi in LA, this place matches them in terms of quality, freshness, simplicity. The fish is the center piece, and not huge gobs of rice that drowns out the flavor so all you feel your and loading up on is just rice with a tiny amount of fish. I will admit their sushi menu and their rolls are a bit limiting--not a huge choice. If you are seeking big fancy rolls with gobs of thick heavy rice and heavy sauces on top, you won't find it here. It's not that kind of place. This place is a about HIGH, HIGH quality sushi. I strongly recommend the Toro Belly. It's not cheap (market price at about $18)...but boy, is this like 'butta'! The service is fantastic and the chefs are wonderful. They have a full bar. This place is a hidden gem. I'm a regular there. Once you've eaten their sushi you'll understand. They have a happy hour from 4-6 pm (not a big selection). They could make their menu a bit bigger. Overall A++ if you care more about highest quality fish than having it on gobs of mountains of rice as most sushi bars do it. Great date place too in this upscale shopping center in Westlake Village (don't let that detract you). Again, treat your self and get the Toro Tuna Belly sushi--your eyes will go back in to head! WOW!
Great all around
Great place to go. It has a N.Y. vibe , great service , very well designed bar and great food. The salmon Carpaccio was amazing !
We had a great night at Q sushi last Friday. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. The food and service were outstanding. The hostess, waiters/waitresses were very friendly and appeared happy to be working there. Try the miso cod, it's unbelievable!
