The evening exceeded our expectations
We liked it from start to the end

We would never go back because of the flights of stairs you have to climb to get to the restaurant.
Without an elevator, the place is hardly accessible for older people regardless of food or service.

We have been to Q Haute a few time and our latest excursion did not disappoint. The food was wonderful, very attentive service, overall a great value.

Perfect for a special occasion! Set 7-course (which is actually like 10-course) tasting menu of creative delicious food. It is a full-on experience so plan to be there for at least 2.5 hours.

Quite possibly the best meal I've ever had. Service was second to none.

My friend and I went here for dinner on July 23. I searched for a Michelin restaurant in Calgary and found this. It is NOT Michelin rated. It’s a very pretty restaurant. Interiors are beautiful. I made the reservation 7 days in advance stating that we are both vegetarian. We were welcomed very well. The servers are beyond wonderful. We were accommodated very well in terms of seating us where we felt comfortable and near a window. Someone charged my phone. Recommended great drinks. The whole nine yards. Then the food started coming. And that’s when everything went downhill. For a vegetarian person with 7 days notice in summer , the chef produced two fried leaves over a three course meal with two add on ( complimentary ) courses so altogether five courses. And all I got was two leaves- one kale and one basil. Every dish has cheese in it. Every dish had so much going on - so passé in its style. Two of the three dishes came with mushrooms. Where was the creativity of the chef? Considering we left so much food in our plates the servers didn’t ask us what was wrong with the meal and if we would like something else. The just smiled their way through and were overly polite almost nervous to ask.... So disappointing for the money that was charged. I will not recommend this place. And not go back. After this we had to go elsewhere to eat. To satisfy ourselves. The chef needs to read this and get a reality check.

We wanted something special for our 40th anniversary; and this was it! 3 hours of dining experience. Amazing dishes, unique wine pairings and other drinks. Kitchen tour and explanations of the foods and the pairings .
It was the total dining experience for us!

The food and the service is amazing. Q Haute is my favourite restaurant in Calgary.

We looked at the dinner menu on the website prior to booking and it said "we are pleased to offer a four-course experience". It was not clear that you had to partake of the four-course - we assumed that you would be able to order off the menu. The meal was ok but a couple of the items we would not have ordered and felt that the price for it was on the high side.

I went to this restaurant before, it was very nice and relax, but this is time it was a bit busy and it is quite noisy.

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Josh was our server and he was a delight!

Dessert was absolutely delicious with very nice presentation. I wish I could finish them all but too full at the end.

Fantastic as always

We went for the lunch tasting menu after my graduation ceremony and had an amazing time. The wait staff was super friendly and the food was extremely good. Presentation was great, flavours were amazing and dessert was outstanding. A great value for $25 for three courses.

Always a great experience at Q-Haute! The waiters are perfectly attentive and respectful, the food was amazing and came out in excellent timing and Marcello makes you feel like family. The special menu nights are great, can't wait for the next Vegan Night!

Great food, great wine, amazing experience.

We came here for our Anniversary, and had a lovely experience. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. If I was able to give 10 stars, I would have. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning for another special occasion.

I wanted to take my friend from Boston to my favourite restaurant for lunch. It was delicious and beautiful, as always! I was very sad to see Q-Haute so empty though...their $25 express lunch is outstanding value, with tons of fresh choices. Hopefully the warm summer weather coming up will attract more patrons. You have to support the businesses you love!

The food was presented in a fun and inventive manner and tasted good. The ambiance was good, with cosy and chic decor.

Mother day brunch is still very good buffet. Didn't seem like a big buffet area but a lot of selection at high quality

The service was possibly the best you'll receive in Calgary. The food was amazing. It is a little pricier than most restaurants in Calgary, but is great value for what you get. It feels like more of an event than just simply going to dinner. They also did a great job accommodating a gluten intolerance; just let them know and they take care of the rest.

The best food and service in Calgary

Every dish was amazing, different textures and explosions of taste for your taste buds. The service was exceptional, very knowledgeable. Worth every pennies. Tour of the kitchen to meet chefs was a nice touch.

We had theatre tickets for that evening, and had wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. Our server was second to none, and the chef’s menu was incredible. During our dinner, before dessert, the server offered a tour of the restaurant and kitchen including introductions to all staff we came across. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant at the beginning, but an hour and a half later, as other tables began to fill in, the staff and ambiance still made us feel as if we were the only ones there. This dining experience is highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning!
