    It was my birthday, September 26. I was acknowledged when I checked in for my 530 reservation and well wishes were noted. I was seated at a table of my choosing in Blanchie's area. The food was excellent. And the pastry chef prepared and presented a special dessert for me.

    Service was a little slow, but food was very good. Prime rib was terrific, steak was cooked just right, sea bass was good as well. Server dropped off dessert menus (we were celebrating two birthdays) then disappeared for awhile. Finally server came back and took the orders, the two birthday celebrants were given free dessert.

    A most exquisite evening! The menu allows for infinite combinations and each and every item for our lavish celebratory dinner for 4 was outstanding. Lovely wine list, best Manhattan ever, and a wonderful staff to guide us through our selections. We enjoyed 3+hours of bliss!

    Culinary delight, with beautiful presentation of dishes. All flavors were well presented and appetizing, from crab cake appetizer, to filet mignon. The creme brulee was mouth watering. Well executed kitchen and wait staff. We would of liked to have seen more table touch by managers. The girls working the floor are excellent, and know their timing, and dishes well. Great night out and ambiance.

    Outstanding service throughout our dining experience! When you asked for a steak medium rare, that’s exactly what you got. So common not to get one’s steak not cooked to perfection.

    My wife and I dined here on 9/1/23. While the service was excellent and the wait staff were very attentive to our needs, the wait for our food was unacceptable. A simple 3 course meal turned into a 2-1/2 hour event. Not that we were pressed for time, but they should have been quicker on the food.

    Great looking place. However, our order was not input into the system and it was only when we asked about our food that they realized. By then, it was too late since we had tickets to a comedy show next door. Ruined the whole weekend for my party.

    We started with the truffle prime rib eye. It was gristly and some fatty chunks, not what I would have wanted. The bread was delicious. Our main food was ok. One of the filet was undercooked and stretchy to cut. The sides were ordinary, nothing special.

    I was looking for a place for a nice dinner before leaving my college sophomore in Tucson before I headed home. We had a shellfish sampler from the Rob bar and we split the porterhouse. The dinner was really more of an experience with lots of extra special touches like being able to pick your own steak, knife and table side, rosemary, oil preparation. The bread and butter was the best bread I've had at a restaurant. The porterhouse was fantastic also. It was the perfect place for this dinner!

    Really has changed for the worst had to wait a little over an hour to get our meals. In addition one item I ordered was not brought out until finally realized they forgotten to bring it out…..They server was Cary “a matter a fact and down to business no pleasantness”. Much to our surprised we were only offered a wine list and never asked it we would like another type of beverage. (Only water was offered )The sides were brought out cold and the asparagus was not tender and plump looked dehydrated and not appetizing. The flavor of the steak was amazing and love the bread. However I got so full on the bread waiting for our meal that I got full on bread and water so I packed away my meal. In the past we have always been asked ,”how was everything “? Botcthis time so I said nothing . The worst offensive issue I would say was the dead and live flies we fought off all through out meal and experience/time there. We did mention the flies to an employee who came to give us a “Rosemary butter “ he did nothing , he shrugged it off and said “let me know if you don’t get ‘em”. This was a moment of “wow did he just say that “ . Therefore it will be quite some time before we go back, for sure we will be checking to see if the dead flies have been taken out of the glass cupboards and cleaned out. This is our first really awful Experience at PY we were very surprised the overall quality has down down hill. Regretfully submitted and hoping that management will review and take action to make improvements or quality and staff attitude.

    Had several service staff attend to our every need, and wasn’t overwhelmed. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time, quantity was quite satisfying, taste was outrageous (bravo to the garlic potatoes and that green Chile Verde chimichurri), but that service!!! Worth every penny

    First of all, it took over 45 minutes for some of our party to get their drinks. We did not receive our food till loner than an hour and a half later. While my fillet was good, it was cold on the edges. Somebody in our party ordered truffle fries and for $24, The fries were cold, but we were just so desperate to eat. We did not complain about the food. Our reservation was at 7:00 and we did not leave until after 930. I have dined here before, and was pleased, but this time I was not pleased at all.

    I ordered the cioppino, as usual, and it was as delicious as ever, despite the crouton being a huge chunk of baguette. My friend liked her corn chowder with its accompanying tempura shrimp which was more like panko than traditional tempura batter, but still very tasty. My coconut mousse cake dessert was outstanding! Even though the mango sauce overpowered the coconut flavor of the cake, the honey that slowly dripped through a meringue beehive was pure theater--don't miss this one!

    Normally a five star experience, the meals were a disappointment: overcooked steak, rubbery shrimp and dry lobster macaroni. We are not giving up on PY but expect better next time.

    It's hard to beat Perfection but they sure try at PY Steakhouse. My wife and I like to spend special time on special occasions here and we Love to invite our friends and Family. For our one year Anniversary in moving to Green Valley, AZ, we invited a couple of family members to celebrate with us. We wanted to introduce them to the wonderful ambience of the atmosphere here. We did not disappoint them. The reservations were set up with Open Table and the communication for time and date was perfect. We requested our "Special Table" and everything went perfectly. We were seated on time and in the right place. Our Server, Blanchie L. at table 46 was waiting for us and started us off with the cocktails, Blanchie had some wonderful suggestions and we started working on a couple of Rusty Nails, a Cosmopolitan and a Crown Royal for me. Then the conversation began, the noise in the restaurant is low with about 8 couples in attendance on the floor seating, another reason why we Love this restaurant, We can hear all conversation. And the ordering begins with Blanchie giving us the "Specials" for the evening. Our list begins: 1. Wedge Salad 1. Shrimp Scampi 2. Seafood Scallops 1. Ribeye Steak (med rare) 1. Filet Mignon (med rare) 1. Truffle Butter 2. Sea Salt Crusted Bake Potatoes 1. Crab Leg 1. Bottle of Justin Cabernet Are You Hungry Yet? 2 hours later after a wonderful Service by Blanchie and the Wait Staff, who had treated us like Kings and Queens at a White House Dinner, we moved on to desert. 1. Deseronto and coffee 2. Tastings of GL Grahams 20Yrs 1. Monsoon Chocolate 4. More water (they tell us in Arizona, "Stay Hydrated" And a good time was had by ALL !! A little sip, a little bite and a whole lot of LOVE. Thanks to all that took part in this Special Occasion from Open Table for the reservation and great communication with the restaurant. To the Wonderful Service from Blanchie and her staff, to the Perfectly cooked meal where, we didn't want to send anything BACK. .

    I made reservation before I arrived. I requested a vegan entree, and noted a Birthday. I visited the hostess at the restaurant the day before the reservation to confirm a vegan entree and they said they had the Birthday information.. we were seated and Amuse Bouche had no vegan accommodation. When we went to order we were told NO VEGAN ENTREE. Chef was busy doing an 8 Top Tasting menu. I inquired about tasting menu and told they weren’t doing anymore. We ordered salads, Wedge ok but the lardons were scarce and fatty and a rawish poached egg was on it. Egg does not belong on a wedge! I ordered crab cakes and my vegan sister was sorta Done! They appeared and said they would do something vegan. Risotto was completely inedible, undercooked and did not get eaten. My crab cakes were a mush of grey goo. Really inedible. No mention of dessert, Birthday forgotten we paid and left. The hostess was good, and our server did the best she could. I am used to Fine dining and this was a terrible experience for both of us. My sister Kim MANDA is a VIP at Del Sol and I suggest you credit her account for $129.00. I was a guest as she brought me for my birthday. I hope you get it together as she had a good experience some months ago with her husband! Different chef? Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion. Kind regards Janis Normoyle

    Really nice menu and they worked with my pepper allergy to make my meal safe. We ordered the beef tartare which was prepared table side. There were several small dishes containing various components of the final presentation of tartare. Unfortunately the staff didn't appear to be properly trained for this and dumped in ALL of the provided course salt, maybe 2 tablespoons worth! It was not edible. The manager did reduce our bill and apologized profusely. We will go back but will skip the tartare next time.

    I ordered mushrooms, which I have ordered on prior occasions ay PY and have really enjoyed them. The mushrooms served on this occasion tasted different to the point my husband tasted and then refused any more. I had a baked potato and used the potato to lessen the strange taste of the mushrooms. I would not order them again.
