Was very pleasantly surprised of how great the customer service was. Dean our waiter was on top of everything telling us about the food and wines and wasnt trying to up sell anything. Always smiling and genuine a warm caring person. The same goes for the hostess and the assistant helping Dean out. Unfortunately I didnt catch their names.
Main course was great, we had the Wednesday's special prime rib deal and dessert was ok which was the chocolate cigar.
We will be back to try something else from the menu in the near future.
The food was disappointing. At the beginning of dinner we received Sourdough rolls with honey butter. The rolls were good but the butter did not hit the mark. I ordered the White Asparagus Soup which was okay but very salty. I had the Lamb Shank...the lamb was okay but the rest was poor. Again too salty, even to my wife's taste and everything was very wet and not flavorful. I also ordered the Brussel Sprout vegetable. The sprouts were HARD, and the things that were panfried with it were ??? Since it was our Anniversary we were treated to our choice of dessert. We are chocolate lovers so we ordered in advance (had to as we were told it was 25 minute preparation time) we ordered the Chocolate Souffle. It was dry, did not collapse when cut into and not very chocolatey. The only mistake the waitstaff made was not offering coffee or after dinner drink at dessert time. My wife had the Seafood medley which was okay but not up to a 5 star standard.
The food was excellent, from house baked breads to incredible desserts and a wonderful, well paced meal along the way. A perfect place to have a meal with family.
My girlfriends and I frequent PY, it's in our GNO rotation. We almost always get the Prime Rib special (it was crab legs last week and they were DISGUSTING). We sat down, were given water (had to ask for the lemon/cucumber which isn't the norm; typically it is immediately offered), and ordered our meals. No bread-we had to ask for it- and within 5 minutes the meals come out. All 3 meals were just awful: the meat was old and MICROWAVED. We asked for different pieces of PR only to be given WORSE and far more dried out and overcooked pieces of meat. Mine for instance, had the sides where I had taken 2 bites out of, cut off and made into a rectangular piece that was so dry I could hardly cut through it. At this point it was clearly obvious the cook was angry and lashing out. We asked to speak with the manager, Jennifer, who was very apologetic and suggested individual steaks instead of the PR special. It took nearly 30 minutes from that point to get our THIRD attempt at dinner. Once again, not right. I was given the WRONG steak and the other two were undercooked. We had to have the meal boxed up as we had plans elsewhere and with the length of time we waited, we had no time to actually eat. I feel that the manager should have comped the meal given the poor service and issues with the kitchen. WE WON'T BE BACK.
Dean our server was wonderful!
Chef did a superb Job! Our food was delicious!
The food was delicious. The staff that served us were wonderful and very attentive. They made my birthday very special.
The staff was friendly and informative of the menu. Appetizers and dinner were well timed. Will be returning most definitely. Cocktails were delicious, Mint Julep, my new favorite. The ambiance was very relaxing.
Another solid experience. Enjoyed it
For where it is it's a nice find. Salad portion was a bit small but steak was perfect and of good quality. Service was excellent. A bit pricey for an Indian casino place.
Mushroom whiskey sauce was out of this world! Order the crab cake appetizer. The drinks hold their own too. Elderflower was the star! My scallops were cooked perfectly and my standards are high. Gorgeous place and stellar service!
Will go back soon me and my wife loved it.
Our dinner selections were excellent and our server Blanchie was outstanding. She even remembered us from a previous dinner reservation. Will definetly return and recommend. Thank you
Love this restaurant. Great food and service. Prime rib night is a geat value.
We were there for the Primerib special. What a wonderful value and delish primerib. Everyones primerib was cooked to order. I had the scallops and a side dish of fabulous brussel sprouts. Service was outstanding. I will definately go back and personally have a beef meal next time.
The cut of prime rib was less than expected. It was tender but very small, thin and lots of fat. I’ve had better at PY. The veggies were over cooked. The food was not hot.
The billing format like paying for the baked potato bread stix, all what should come with dinner should make it a standard price. I am a accountant and I really dont want to see I paid 5 $ for a side just include in the dinner and raise the price accordingly" other than that dinner was good and I felt they did a great job"
We have been to PY Steakhouse many times and always look forward to the wonderful food!!! The service is always impeccable, it reminds us of dining on a cruise ship. I had the pork shank, which was fantastic, my wife had the scallops which were delicious as well.
Prime rib special never disappoints! Best prime rib I've ever had. Delicious wine as recommended by our server.
Meh at best. NY steak was great, but very overpriced and came with no sides, veggies and mashed potatoes were much extra. Charged me for water!
Excellent from start to finish...service was gracious and on point. Food was delicious (steak tartare was some of the best we have had anywhere!). Chef was involved with not only staff but also guests which made for even better quality of everything!
This restaurant was outstanding. While we have never eaten here before, we will be back. The lobster was great. Our only wish was to order medium rare next time instead of medium for the filet. Still thinking about how wonderful you homemade bread was. Thanks for a delightful dining experience.
Dean and his trainee were great. I can’t think of a better place to have celebrated my 87th birthday.
Horrible, horrible experience. Other patrons who were seated much later than us received their food before we received ours. An hour after ordering we confronted the staff about the wait for our food and they had little to no response. Within the hour that we waited to ultimately not receive our food, our server did not check in on us one time. Our family was looking forward to a high class dining experience at your establishment and sadly received the exact opposite. For whatever the case may be, we were not treated with the same level of respect and courtesy as other patrons in the restaurant. I was told I was going to receive a call from a manager to rectify the situation but never received such a call. Very disappointed and disheartening.
Another note. If the restaurant is concerned with the possible of minority patrons not compensating the restaurant for their food, put in place a pre pay system. Racial profiling your guest is not a good business model, financially or morally.
As always the service is excellent, ambience on point and the food amazing. Best wine and whiskey list in Tucson as far as I am concerned. Prices are steep, but if you're looking to impress, enjoy a romantic evening, or simply treat someone special to a special evening, then this is the place.
I ordered the Halibut this visit and while everything else we had was perfect, the fish was a tad dry.
We were a PY's to celebration my husbands birthday - great food and service!
Service was great as always , our friends loved it, and said, they never ate so good before. Thank you
Everything is always excellent. Noise level allows for conversation; service is attentive without being intrusive. Bread and crostini interesting with good butters to accompany them. Deserts well made; really different and tasty, unique sorbets. Prime rib is tender and flavorful. The wedge salads were different from the norm and not overwhelming in size; sharing them is allowed, too. The oysters Rockefeller were unique in saucing and very tasty.
Our server Miranda was excellent! We were celebrating our 45th anniversary and her personality and attentive service made it very special. Thank you!
Babies crying , food expensive , service was good. Lower the prices & don't allow children !
We went for our anniversary dinner. We had a wonderful time. We started with the calamari, which was delicious! We enjoyed their Wed special of prime rib. You can’t beat it for the price. We had a great dessert. Our wait staff was great. Would recommend if in the area.
The service at PY is always outstanding. Miranda was spot on with all our needs and checked with us at various intervals. I will say we were a little disappointed in the prime rib. It has been much better on our previous visits. This is still our favorite place to celebrate a special occasion--this time it was our 52nd anniversary--or just to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be back soon.
Well priced specials on Wednesday, great service and flexible hours.
Always as expected with entertainment right close😁
I dine at PY at least once a month and have been doing that for years. Service is excellent. They make it personal and make me feel very welcome, part of the family. With only a couple exceptions, the food has been excellent. I usually take some of my meal with me. It is very rich and difficult, for me at least, to handle in one sitting. Which is good because I get to enjoy the meal twice. Wednesday is prime rib night and one night I will probably avoid in the future. It is very popular so the dining room is generally crowded and thus pretty noisy. I thoroughly enjoy my dining experience at PY but the chatter from surrounding tables is distracting. It's not the fault of PY. It's just other guests who do not realize they are being annoying.
Great Experience. Felt very catered to. Food was excellent, service was great,
Our "go to" restaurant when we're celebrating a special occasion.
As usual the food and presentation was wonderful. We were serviced very well and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. We have already recommended the Wednesday special to our friends.
The food was excellent but the service was substandard. We had to make repeated requests - had to request pepper for my salad, and then it was set so fine I couldn't see it on the salad.
Celebrating a birthday. Food was good. Service was pretty poor. 3 of us for dinner was a 2hour and 45 minute experience. Food was nicely paced however the drinks and attentiveness to our table was poor. After dinner and desert it was 30 minutes to close the tab.
Everything was Perfect,
Just like a NYC Restaurant
