Pusser's Bar and Grille . Ratings and Reviews
Not happy about the fact that neither open table or Pussers didn’t bother to post that there was a set menu and price for New Year’s Eve. Not sure how good of an idea it was since it wasn’t very busy there. Food was good but not for the $53 a person price. That didn’t even include any liquor.
We used to LOVE Pusser’s and would take all out of town visitors but that will stop abruptly. We took our dearest family there on Christmas Eve and though the service was passable. The food was erratic at best. My favorite shrimp and grits was to put it mildly disgusting. The grits were watery and both the shrimp and whatever they say.....(Pieces of ham maybe) were pure rubber. Really bad I would have sent it back but it took so long to get our meals I was afraid we’d miss our Christmas celebration at home. We spent well over 150$ for 4 adults. Thankfully I had a Bloody Mary to numb the awful meal that followed.
We have been to Pussers in Road Town, and Sopers Hole in Tortola many times and this Pussers was just as good. I had a great Cuban sandwich!! Wish they had the conch chowder like the ones in Tortola but that was OK. The pain killers were wonderful and the staff is as nice as any place we have been! Would go back anytime we are in the area.
We had guests from Australia and all they wanted was to eat seafood. It was the son's birthday and he was so happy about the brownie dessert treat! The seafood was fabulous and she could not stop talking about the fabulous large oysters and how affordable it was. A good dining experience every time!
My friend and I enjoyed a tasty meal, well prepared with generous portions. We had a window seat. The ambiance was quite pleasant with fresh poinsettias all around. The waiter was very pleasant and attentive. It was quiet enough that we could talk across the table from each other without having to raise our voices to be heard. I would definitely go again.
We were a party of four plus a toddler celebrating a milestone birthday. The food, service, ambiance, view, everything couldn't have been better. We had a wonderful time.....and were treated to an amazing brownie and ice cream dessert for the birthday. Love Pusser's! Definitely recommend it to all! Can't wait for a return visit!
Pusser's was having a mixed grill special for $18.95. I got the hanger steak with shrimp and my wife got the hanger steak with salmon. The dinners came with house or Caesar salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies. Great deal on good food. Our server Drew made the evening a pleasant experience.
Thankgiving dinner had 4:30pm seating. Restaurant not crowded. Seated upon arrival. Told restaurant ran out of ham. Had to ask for bread multiple times. Told ran out of dinner rolls. Finally brought French Bread to table after 45 minutes. Ordered drinks upon arrival and not asked about refills until bread was brought to table(45 minutes). Error on check...charged for 4 Thanksgiving dinners (Ordered 3).
Thanksgiving dinner at Pusser’s. If you like cafeteria food this is the place. Looking across at Ruth’s Chris just reminded me how bad this was. Like warm food, dried out turkey, flavorless Leek and potato soup, and stuffing put on the plate with a scoop. First time and last eating here. Good place to have a drink outside, not so much for dinner.
We had Thanksgiving Dinner for all 11 members of our family. They had a Thanksgiving menu which was very traditional ham and turkey. However only 3 people ordered off this menu and everyone else ordered different foods. All the food was delicious. I highly recommend.
This place is good old fashion fun with tasty dishes from the coast and tropics. Good food, good service, lively outdoor scene.
Their happy hour features a different menu item daily at a great price. Try their Firecracker Shrimp, Lobster Roll, Mixed Grill and their Salmon.
We took my in-laws and sister in-law there after just getting back into town. It was the last night for the special (steak and lobster). To our disappointment, we were told they didn't have any more to serve us. My husband and I had been there previously with our neighbors for that special. We were so glad that the special had been extended for the month of October.
Last January, we were in Annapolis, Maryland, and enjoyed having that same special at Pusser's. Why extend the special if you aren't going to be able to serve it the last night of the special.
Several of us ended up having the Firecracker shrimp. The shrimp was very good.
Our 2nd time dining at Pussers after moving here from Chicago. Beautiful waterfront restaurant. Many food choices, great prices and food cooked to perfection. Having dined at most of the top restaurants in the Chicago land area, Pussers does not disappoint!
It was my husbands 71st birthday, & we were staying at the Sawgrass Marriott to celebrate
After being marshals for the TPC for many many years, I always told him I wanted to try it. However, he doesn't like crowds or waiting, so previous tries were unsuccessful.
This time it was perfect. The ambiance, & the food was great. Our waiter was excellent, & was helpful with suggestions
Overall, we will return again & again when we come up to visit our grandkids in Jax Beach
Overall, not a good experience. Our reservation was for 6 PM, we didn't get served till after 7 PM. And the food was not hot. What was supposed to be a filet , looked more like a hamburger. The lobster was OK, not great. It was the surf and turf special for 20 bucks. If you want to taste a good surf and turf, go to Brio.
