Too expensive for what you get.
Never again. Nice looking venue. But train your staff, clean main hall of mops and brooms. Tell your greeter to stay off texting. I enjoy a great meal out and am not afraid to spend and tip for great service. First time and last time. Not only a huge flop for Valentine's Day buy our wedding anniversary too. The $25 gift card o come back won't work either.
Pure North Fork is pure heaven! The servers are friendly and knowledgeable. The menu has many choices (try the delicious flatbreads) and the prices are fair. The dining room offers a great view of the golf course as well as easy access to the bar. They have great Happy Hour specials also. I love this place!
Service good, food OK. Crab cake I would pass on. Cocktails great.
Food was fantastic, restaurant was busy and had good energy.
Excellent cocktails, esp. the Old fashioned. Good selection of lunch choices, fresh ingredients. Beautiful place, on the golf course but open to the public. Worth seeking out.
Food was great!! A little cold in the building could have put the heat on.
My dish was good, not great. My girlfirends seared tuna had no taste. Nice place, good service but the food is just ok.
The decor is stunning, all the details are well thought out and the feel is relaxing. Our server was also perfect, attentive and informative. Unfortunately the food was bordering on awful. The wings were on the menu as "crispy", they were not even close. The sauce had good flavor but was watery and as such didn't coat the wings. The fries were delicious and topped with just the right amount of cheese and gravy. The salad was fresh and the vinaigrette a nice balance of tang and sweet. The salad was also not over dressed. Our entrees were overcooked and under seasoned. Sadly there were no positives in the entree course. The coffee was hot, fresh and enjoyable.
I would like to go back and maybe stick to apps and possibly sandwiches. I would not go back for a supper in which we wanted an entree. The price demands proteins at their requested temperature, which was not at all what was served.
We has some issues with the menu and the food, however Amanda really stepped up and handled it all so professionally and made us feel so special. It truly turned the whole experience into a great experience..........
Pleasant staff. Menu changes and food fairly non descript
$36 Rib eye was over cooked and only 1/2 was edible.
Risotto was not creamy
Server did not bring bread until asked
4 of us ordered cocktails , bottle of wine didn't come for over 20 minutes after other cocktails were served for 2 of us.
Not worth the money...
I have been here many times as its our go to Saturday night spot. Sara & Kim are an amazing bartenders. Very Knowledgeable & Cocktails are always picture perfect and taste amazing. The food is impeccable. Last Saturday we had dinner in the dinningroom with Joelle as our server and popped into the bar for a night cap and desert, and of course to say Hi to our fav bartenders. The amazing experience really starts when you walk in the door as the hostess is always friendly and smiling. Always telling our friends about PURE.
Only Flaw is the Event manager tends to not follow up on phone calls as my company tried 3 times to book a holiday party this year, but hey maybe they are that busy.
Nothing to write home about. The service was good but it wasn't very busy while I was there . As others have said the ambiance was non-existent. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. It was really cold, AC cranked. The food was OK, nothing special or creative, just average. The waitress was fine but I think she was insulted that I left a $17 tip for a $93 meal (OK a little below 20% but it's not like I stiffed her). I was waiting in the lobby for a friend when she came out with this stupefied look on her face and barked at me "Was everything all right?" I said "Yeah, it was OK" Then she said "The food?" "The Service?". I politely answered yes it was OK and she stormed off not telling me why she was asking. I wouldn't come back here, there are much better places to eat in the same price range that are fun to go to and have better food.
Although Pure Nirth Fork is very appealing inside, I don't think the food is worth the visit. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken which was not very appetizing . My husband ordered a burger which was very dry. I do not recommend this place unless you want cafertieria food for restaurant prices.
There was a party going on in both rooms so it was really noisy: it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation . I guess because it was so busy, we waited quite some time for the waitress just to take a drink order. After 15 minutes, she returned with only 1 beer and said that they were out of the one my friend ordered. It then took another
1/2 hour for our food to arrive . The food was excellent, but way too noisy and when it is crowded the service is slow.
Little pricey, $18 or close to that for two crab cakes. Everything else seemed reasonably priced and all the food was delicious. Average priced drinks that were made very well. Amazing service! Definitely will be going back!
Food was good and fresh, Service was nice, kid friendly, relaxing atmosphere.
We were there on a Tuesday evening. The Restaurant lacked people. It was very quiet and as such lacking ambience. The food was mediocre. They did make a vegetarian (mac & cheese) without the meat mentioned on the menu. My husband ( not a vegetarian) did not enjoy his meal. It lacked taste and flavour. I won't go back in a hurry!!
The food was excellent so as the service. One thing that we did not like is the acoustics in the room next to the bar it seems that the room implifiyed the sound so much that was getting nerv racking. It was not conducive to nice quiet dinner.
2 apps 2 entrees 4 drinks 125 dollars. Enough said.
The food was mediocre at best. We had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees and they all had absolutely no flavor. The service was good as well as the look of the restaurant. Wanted to like this place but unfortunately will never be back.
Great food, nice menu with not an over abundance of selections- good but slow service from the kitchen. Wait staff was very good but seemed to have too many tables to keep up. Nicely appointed dining room with plenty of space for more. Great experience overall, they just need to keep up maybe add one more wait staff.
First time visit - very good experience. Will definitely be returning. Try the pickle flight.
Service was wonderful...Joe didn't miss a thing...food was amazing....loved it!
While the food was delicious & the waiter attentive, the atmosphere was stuffy & made us uncomfortable. We had hoped to have a seat outside but due to the possibility of rain, we were seated inside. The restaurant felt small & crowded. I had difficulty leaving my seat without bumping into the diners next to us.
Their website hasn't been up dated in over a year in a half. Therefore the menu was completely different. They do not offer main course dinners only sandwiches and. Our waitress was rude when we asked her if she accidentally gave us the lunch menu. Our busboy did more for us than she did and was pleasant. Food came out wrong, they only offer a bread basket "on the weekends" as per our server. Overall the experience was not good and other than some decent drinks served by a less than friendly bartender we had just an OK time. I would not recommend to a friend like I used to do ALL THE TIME before they cut their menu.
My husband and I were the only guests ... I ordered a wedge salad and it wasnt an actual wedge salad it was served using romaine lettuce and not the traditional iceberg ( only bad thing ) ...service was outstanding our seever was quite knowledgeable in the menu and made a suggestion of the brisket burger which was amazing ... Would definitely go back again
Not happy with the new menu. Liked the original eclectic menu
Great elegant bar, great appetizers, great service, great dinner. Will go again. This is short but it is that good. Nothing more to say.
