Pure North Fork Ratings and Reviews
The decor is stunning, all the details are well thought out and the feel is relaxing. Our server was also perfect, attentive and informative. Unfortunately the food was bordering on awful. The wings were on the menu as "crispy", they were not even close. The sauce had good flavor but was watery and as such didn't coat the wings. The fries were delicious and topped with just the right amount of cheese and gravy. The salad was fresh and the vinaigrette a nice balance of tang and sweet. The salad was also not over dressed. Our entrees were overcooked and under seasoned. Sadly there were no positives in the entree course. The coffee was hot, fresh and enjoyable.
I would like to go back and maybe stick to apps and possibly sandwiches. I would not go back for a supper in which we wanted an entree. The price demands proteins at their requested temperature, which was not at all what was served.
$36 Rib eye was over cooked and only 1/2 was edible.
Risotto was not creamy
Server did not bring bread until asked
4 of us ordered cocktails , bottle of wine didn't come for over 20 minutes after other cocktails were served for 2 of us.
Not worth the money...
I have been here many times as its our go to Saturday night spot. Sara & Kim are an amazing bartenders. Very Knowledgeable & Cocktails are always picture perfect and taste amazing. The food is impeccable. Last Saturday we had dinner in the dinningroom with Joelle as our server and popped into the bar for a night cap and desert, and of course to say Hi to our fav bartenders. The amazing experience really starts when you walk in the door as the hostess is always friendly and smiling. Always telling our friends about PURE.
Only Flaw is the Event manager tends to not follow up on phone calls as my company tried 3 times to book a holiday party this year, but hey maybe they are that busy.
Nothing to write home about. The service was good but it wasn't very busy while I was there . As others have said the ambiance was non-existent. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. It was really cold, AC cranked. The food was OK, nothing special or creative, just average. The waitress was fine but I think she was insulted that I left a $17 tip for a $93 meal (OK a little below 20% but it's not like I stiffed her). I was waiting in the lobby for a friend when she came out with this stupefied look on her face and barked at me "Was everything all right?" I said "Yeah, it was OK" Then she said "The food?" "The Service?". I politely answered yes it was OK and she stormed off not telling me why she was asking. I wouldn't come back here, there are much better places to eat in the same price range that are fun to go to and have better food.
Although Pure Nirth Fork is very appealing inside, I don't think the food is worth the visit. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken which was not very appetizing . My husband ordered a burger which was very dry. I do not recommend this place unless you want cafertieria food for restaurant prices.
There was a party going on in both rooms so it was really noisy: it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation . I guess because it was so busy, we waited quite some time for the waitress just to take a drink order. After 15 minutes, she returned with only 1 beer and said that they were out of the one my friend ordered. It then took another
1/2 hour for our food to arrive . The food was excellent, but way too noisy and when it is crowded the service is slow.
We were there on a Tuesday evening. The Restaurant lacked people. It was very quiet and as such lacking ambience. The food was mediocre. They did make a vegetarian (mac & cheese) without the meat mentioned on the menu. My husband ( not a vegetarian) did not enjoy his meal. It lacked taste and flavour. I won't go back in a hurry!!
The food was excellent so as the service. One thing that we did not like is the acoustics in the room next to the bar it seems that the room implifiyed the sound so much that was getting nerv racking. It was not conducive to nice quiet dinner.
Great food, nice menu with not an over abundance of selections- good but slow service from the kitchen. Wait staff was very good but seemed to have too many tables to keep up. Nicely appointed dining room with plenty of space for more. Great experience overall, they just need to keep up maybe add one more wait staff.
While the food was delicious & the waiter attentive, the atmosphere was stuffy & made us uncomfortable. We had hoped to have a seat outside but due to the possibility of rain, we were seated inside. The restaurant felt small & crowded. I had difficulty leaving my seat without bumping into the diners next to us.
Their website hasn't been up dated in over a year in a half. Therefore the menu was completely different. They do not offer main course dinners only sandwiches and. Our waitress was rude when we asked her if she accidentally gave us the lunch menu. Our busboy did more for us than she did and was pleasant. Food came out wrong, they only offer a bread basket "on the weekends" as per our server. Overall the experience was not good and other than some decent drinks served by a less than friendly bartender we had just an OK time. I would not recommend to a friend like I used to do ALL THE TIME before they cut their menu.
My husband and I were the only guests ... I ordered a wedge salad and it wasnt an actual wedge salad it was served using romaine lettuce and not the traditional iceberg ( only bad thing ) ...service was outstanding our seever was quite knowledgeable in the menu and made a suggestion of the brisket burger which was amazing ... Would definitely go back again
Disappointing! Our friends had been here before- she was looking forward to having the fusilli primavera again- however they changed the pasta- and did not offer to change dish after served- for 19$ got a small bowl of bland tasteless noodles with some vegetables. Restaurant was very noisy. Did love the brussel sprout and pickled vegetable appetizers. Also liked the view of the golf course.
Tuna sandwich was the only entree with decent size portion of what we ordered. Tuna tacos-tuna was a weird temperature-not hot or cold although I believe it was raw not seared.
We did have a lovely, enthusiastic waitress.
Overall disappointment, will not return.
Beautiful view outside; loved the outdoor fireplace
Noise level in restaurant was so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation across the table
Food was fair to good. Some dishes were sold out and others came out over cooked
Would go back just to have a cocktail and sit outside but would pass on dinner
Delicious drinks and appetizers. My favorite appetizer was the Bang Bang Shrimp. My husband loved the flatbread pizza, too. We had some burgers for dinner, which were good but the buns were not as fresh as we expected. Joelle was our server and she was very pleasant and accommodating. The owner or manager stopped by our table, too, which is always nice.
Always a great meal. The cheese slate was phenomenal. I should have ordered the entire selection. Next time I may do that and make it my meal. The only detriment was the noise level from the bar due to the live music. Not excessive but required you to speak up a bit in order to have a conversation. Service was impeccable.
Went for an early Valentine's Day dinner date and was not disappointed. This was my first tapas experience and I loved it. The food was delicious and there was a good amount of options. Drinks were delicious and my boyfriends strip steak was to die for. I had the mushroom ravioli and for something that seems simple it was also great. This would be a great place to go with a small group of friends for a nicer dinner and get to try a little of everything. Our server was WONDERFUL too.
