Made a 9:00 am reservation for a business breakfast. The bistro was closed when I arrived. I had to bring my party to a different location.
Nice little bistro. Food was very good and made with very fresh products. We had a family brunch there on a Sunday and we were very pleased with everything.
A real find - perfect for a quick dinner before a nets game
Food was delicious and service was excellent. I would definitely go back again
Food and atmosphere are good (highly recommend having a reservation as other people had to wait) but the service is very slow and not overly friendly.
Painfully slow service at 9:30 am on Sunday with few customers. Restaurants desperately needs kitchen and server help. However, food was good and prices are very reasonable.
Came here before a show at the Barclays. Quick service, great food!
Looks very casual so people may wonder the type of food coming out
Every dish was so fresh!! and delicious
no frills with great food-easy, delicious dining
Food was excellent. Very friendly staff. Near Barclays Center.
We were looking fur a restaurant that served a brunch experience on a weekday and Pure was perfect. The food was excellent! Lunch items looked yummy too. Great service
Great option before a Barclays event. Menu full of healthy dishes, very friendly and fast service. Good value for money.
I love that I could get a reservation for a Sunday brunch! Some places just won't do that. The food was tasty and arrived quickly, and they were good about letting our party chat for a while after the meal.
Enjoyed it so much! Very reasonable and good food! Sangria was great and the service wonderful! No bar though😬
Excellent for patrons who are gluten free! Fiod was excellent and service was superior.
Pure Bistro was a great place to have a late lunch/early dinner. The service was great. We were acknowledged right away, and seated by the window. The appetizer was absolutely delicious. Our main meal was very good, only I wasn't crazy about the spinach. I felt it was lacking in flavor. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this restaurant. It was a good meal and ambiance.
Very fresh, wonderful food.. and extremely reasonably priced. Close to Barclays Center. Definitely need a reservation as the restaurant is small.. And they only take Am Ex or cash.
I would return here in a minute and recommend it to anyone!! Great place!!
had dinner before a concert at Barclays. Pleasantly surprised with diverse and appealing menu, quality food, nice presentation and good value. Service is attentive and a bit stretched but not unusual these days. Try it!
Good service....not rushed but my hamburger was ordered medium rare and came well done making it somewhat tasteless.....since we were going to a show could not send it back...otherwise the food was fine
FYI cash or Amex only.
Very enjoyable Burgers were delicious Great location
We were accommodated a bit earlier than our reservation which was helpful since we were going to concert at Barclays. The service was slow. It took almost 40 minutes to get our food. The food was tasty and the ambiance was nice. We will definitely be back.
I had high hopes for this restaurant. The steak was VERY boring.. at least serve it with some of the cooking juices or a drizzle of whatever it was marinating in reduced down into a reduction. My husbands chicken was also very bland. The hummus was delicious despite a few pieces of burnt pita. They give a carafe of water though for the table. Thats the only reason I gave an extra star.
Great for a quick bite before a show at Barclays. Make a reservation, as it fills up quick.
Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this restaurant. The service was poor and the meals took almost one hour to arrive (burgers so nothing complicated). When the food did arrive it was cold. There was an excessive wait to order an extra serving of fries (after our already long wait I would have thought there could have been a compromise on this). When I questioned the server on the poor food he commented they were busier than they had expected and also there was a new chef. I would not recommend this restaurant
Only cash or Amex - only one waitress prices are a little high for the food you get. Zero presentation for the price.
They knew how to cook a steak well done without ruining it. Excellent.
Excellent food, very fresh. Server was ok, not too nice. Very loud around e far corner with a lot of echoes. Nice menu. Breakfast all day.
Awesome fresh ground coffee and heavenly omelets! You won't leave hungry. Try the fresh orange and pineapple juice
We went to Pure Bistro before going to a show at the Barclay's Center. One of us had the Simple Salmon which was served with brown rice and broccoli. It was delicious and cooked just right. Also ordered was a Portobello Burger which came just as ordered. It too was extremely good. Of disappointment was the fact that at 5:30 on a Saturday evening they had "run out" of French Fries to be ordered. That was really hard to believe. A baked potato was ordered instead which was very good but one usually would like French Fries with a burger. Then Menu does have some nice appetizers though we did not have one. There are also Sandwiches and other fish Entrees. What made the evening even more enjoyable was when we got the bill for our dinner. We had each had two glasses of wine and not known that we were there for Happy Hour! All in all it was an excellent dinner and very enjoyable. We will return if we are that way again.
Food taste & quality excellent. However, even for a casual spot for informal dinner or snack- it had the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE CHAIRS that I have ever experienced. Service was ok, although my baked potato was served without butter (I had to request it) and when I was offered ketchup for my hamburger, it turned out to be a watery hot sauce (definitely NOT ketchup). That being said, the place does have potential - just get some decent chairs & pay attention to detail when serving.
Would have been a better experience but the other customers ruined it. There was a group of about 7 people who came in after my sister and I. Once they say they were loud and cursing the whole time. Other than that the food was very good and I would go back again.
Good overall experience. Recommend for quick bite before heading to the Barclay Center.
Juices looked good. Organic & healthy selections were fair without being too "health nut". Food was fair, not exceptional. Good place for an easy meet-up or casual brunch. Could get fairly loud if crowded. Their juicer, on top of conversation din, makes it a spot you stop in, eat & go. But overall, it works. Staff were nice, not too attentive with the water or check-ins but easy to flag down & always nice about it.
The juices and smoothies are great! Go at noon for the best of both lunch and breakfast.
My son and I had driven around last Sunday afternoon both starving and unfamiliar with the section of Brooklyn we were in but, our first two tries to find a place to eat (at around 2 PM) were not happening as one had a line winding around the corner and the other had a 45 minute wait time. In desperation I pulled up my Open Table App and bingo! Pure showed up 4 minutes away with a table available at 2:30. The food was excellent and I have already recommended this a good place to eat.
Good food. No bread but could barely see the food and noise was very loud even under a double height ceiling.
food was well-prepared. service was a bit slow. desserts pleasingly addictive. a definite MUST.
The freshest ingredients, great service and fast enough to get in and out under 20 mins if you are in a hurry.
Nice little place in the heart of Park Slope, our food was made to perfection. The waiter was very nice, allowed me sample some wines. One thing I did not like is that he assumed the cash left over was his entire tip.
Great food, quiet atmosphere, great service. Had brunch on a sunday afternoon and was pleasantly satisfied
