I will return and hope to stay longer to play arcade games. Loved the mimosa and Bloody Mary bar on Mother’s Day!
Super fun and really good food too. I’d recommend Punch Bowl Social to anyone. Lots of fun!!!
This appetizer is called “a pig, a duck, and some cheese walk into a bar.” It is the best appetizer I have had this year. Check out their menu for a description.
Good overall experience. Went bowling and had to flag a waiter down to order after playing two rounds. Food was pretty good.
Food was amazing, that was the highlight. Server didn’t come for quite awhile, and wasn’t present at all after the food. I had to walk to the bar twice for a beer because she was MIA. Other than that, good idea for a group, just better be pacient with the service.
Had a lunchtime reservation for a group of about 8-10 people. When we walked in the place was nearly empty. Maybe because the server was new, he only checked on the table a few times while we were there. It seemed the majority of the time he was talking with the clients/workers that were at the bar. The food took a very long time to come out and only half the table got served initially. The half that got served were almost done eating their food by the time the second half of the table got their food.
Cool Place , kids enjoyed the games. Food just soso...
Went to PBS for an adult birthday party. Large group 12+. Food was OK (should have eaten dinner elsewhere). The costs add up. With bowling, food and drinks a pretty expensive night.
We went for a 20th Birthday celebration. Sadly weren’t told how much of the “fun” was reserved most of the evening. We took a group of girls there so they could bowl, karaoke, etc. We should have been notified that there were several big parties who had reserved all areas for most of if not all of the evening. Bad service, food okay...your establishment is supposed to be an experience and the one we had was awful. We had to find an alternate place to celebrate. We spent nearly 200.00 in your restaurant and left very disappointed.😕
Went to PBS-Portland for the first time, and being that is was my 40th birthday, I brought some friends and family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. It arrived in a short amount of time, and was actually much better than we anticipated. Cocktails were top notch as well. After filling up on good food and alcoholic beverages, we proceeded to play some ol' school video games. A good showing of my dominance in Street Fighter II over my 19 and 20 year old boys (I loose in every other game I ever play with them) felt really good. Moving to Shuffleboard, then Ping Pong, we meandered our way through all the fun and games available. It did start to get pretty packed which made for a slow checkout at the events booth, and took a bit to closeout our bar tab, but not a big deal. Overall, It was a fantastic evening! PBS-Portland will definitely be visited again!
Service was terrible, food brought to table inaccurate.... This place is a dud
We were there for drinks and games. Very little games. Waitress was around once for one round of drinks. We decided to leave after over 40 minutes of no service.
We went on a Saturday night so it was understandably loud. The food was very good and the bartenders were very nice.
Booked a reservation online for Super Bowl Sunday. When we arrived, there was no such reservation in the system. Luckily there was room for us.
Went on New Year’s Eve. Food unimpressed. My 20 year d son could not enter which is weird because it’s a game place. So we left.
They never said is for 21 years and older
I went with my family and have to change plans in the middle of the night
Is not a restaurant....Is a Disco/Club !!!
NYE was fun and the food was good, but for as much as we paid for drink the size was a rip off. Ended up eating dinner here and getting one drink, then leaving. But I can see the allure to this place, would try on a non-holiday.
New Year’s Eve. First time to try and experience something new. It was quiet and layout was confusing to new comers
One level up from bar food, really. Which is what was expected. However, with the bartender focused more on flirting with one of his customers and the poor waitress having to try to go to the bar further away just to accommodate was painful to watch. That bartender with the little mustache needs to go!
Overall, we had a lot of fun at Punch Bowl Social! Our server was nice but service was slow. It took a long time for our food to get to us and when it finally did, certain dishes were cold and needed to be sent back and replaced. The slow service was made bearable by the fact that there were plenty of games to keep us busy and distracted while we waited. Once we did get our hot food, the meal was pretty good. Would recommend to friends because we enjoyed the games and atmosphere but the food service could be improved upon!
Menu selection and food quality is excellent. Best Meatballs I've had! Lobster rolls were fresh! one thing they need to improve on is the service. Our server was serving the first meal that was ready 30 minutes before the last person was served.
BFF and I came to this place for the first time and really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly, seats comfy and food selection was fun. Wish they had one of these closer to us in the Bay Area!
Boring, most of the bowling and others areas were reserved for private parties
Nice venue combining decent pub food nice cocktails and activities.
Our server was the greatest ever she was so sweet and made it so much fun for us! We loved her and will be returning for especially and the hummus plate omg it was delicious drinks were yummy! Thank you punchbowl for a great pre party birthday dinner!!
Great atmosphere and incredible gluten free options (I got the nachos and fried chicken to share with a friend). I went for my birthday. Played games at the table before and during dinner. Easy drink list for anyone to enjoy. Went to the bar area after dinner and eventually got called for bowling (have to be put on the list). It was an overall amazing evening filled with great food and fun! Perfect for socializing.
It was fun! However I suggest that they have more things for people celebrating their birthday. There were NO freebies. No cake or ice cream. No one to sing for me. The food is kind of expensive as well. Drinks are only mediocre. Our waiter was cool!
Always a great experience!! Great workers, great food!
Had a bachelorette Sunday lunch here and it was almost completely empty. Tons to do- bowling, pinball machines, fuseball, old arcade games, photo booth, pool etc. The food was really good, especially their grain bowl (crunchy popped grains) and juices (fresh with no sugar added)! Highly recommend for large groups! Probably a lot busier in the evening.
Our server was very upset from the moment we got there. We had awesome food and service from other employees, however it was a bummer our server was not super into it. Our party turned to be a little bit bigger than we had expected, which as a birthday I feel like a “for sure” amount is pretty normal. She was not happy. we had even called and changed it which the host was super okay with it! As a server, I completely understand bad days, however we ended up not even choosing to do activities because she kind of killed the mood. Overall, the food was awesome and we will definitely be back. The food runners were super sweet and our drinks were great.. hoping to be back soon so we can enjoy some activities!
This was a fun afternoon for our 20th anniversary celebration weekend!
The waiter was very nice. Our group showed up around 45 minutes late and there seemed to be no problem. Food was great and so was the atmosphere.
Fun space with great cocktails, but a very limited menu.
Great place for groups, activities bowling, ping pong. A good place for a good time.
Service was okay, but food and drinks were pricey for what you get. A $7 beer... may as well go to Ground Kontrol or Dave & Busters at that point. Another thing that would have been nice is to warn us when we grabbed a bunch of drinks and booked the Karaoke room that it would be shut off at 1 hour sharp and that closing was coming. One of our party ordered food which was given to another group in a private reservation... Then they simply said sorry and made her scarf down the remaining tacos they brought out because they were closing. 1 hour free activity as a sorry to her... I guarantee she won't be back. It's a shame because I work down the street at the AC Hotel and I think my friends would have had a better time there or at the Q and spent way less money.
We had a group lunch of 10 people. The staff was nice and helpful. Food and drinks are good. Bowling and card game was fun.
This is a great place for groups. Family/kid friendly and fun. Food was below my expectations. The menu items sounded delicious but when we actually received our food it tasted pre-packaged or previously frozen and just reheated. There were many games and activities, however several of the arcade type games I would have liked to play were out of order. Service was outstanding. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, our server was happy and friendly and all other waitstaff was pleasant and accommodating. Overall it was a decent experience and I would go back!
Punch bowl, unknown to me being from the East Coast, provided our family with a relatively inexpensive and fun nights worth of entertainment
Great place to surprise my husband for his birthday. Fun times!
