The food was really good. Service was terrible. Took forever to get the server to come to our table. Ordered a kids drink that he forgot about. Ordered 2 adult drinks before we ordered our food that came after our food which also took much too long.
Great food! And the service was amazing. The only struggle was not enough parking but we managed! Great desserts as well!
Delicious burger, delicious jalapeno lemonade. Fun place. Great service.
Birthday - we put in the reservation that it was a birthday and told them it was my son’s birthday when we got there. They didn’t acknowledge it except to tell him happy Birthday.
Early lunch and it was great- not crowded and got great food and service. The complimentary biscuits were a nice treat!
What a cool place! The menu was fresh and innovative, the decoration was awesome, and there was tremendous value in the price. A great experience and one I would gladly do again!
Amazing place! It wasn’t my first time there however, it was the first time I ordered chicken waffles. They were delicious! My friend ordered a burger and it was delicious too.
Love this place, but I think having a short staff and new bartender on a day when families go to breakfast was a mistake. We waited a longer-than-expected time for food that takes 10 minutes to cook, drinks took forever, the Bloody Mary bar was picked clean, shaker was filthy, warm champagne for the mimosa bar... when a bowl of biscuits & jam showed up, the jam had spilled and was at the bottom of the dish. No butter. Biscuits and mushroom gravy was dry. Like coagulated oatmeal dry. Plus, had to search for them under scrambled eggs (next time, put them on the potatoes, let the food the dish is named for shine). All in all, a very disappointing brunch. And for $100, a very unpleasant experience.
Something for everyone there . Games drinks and food
Loved Punch Bowl Social. Good eats and fun environment. Only downside was that lanes weren’t oiled and were so slow! We only bowled one game and then gave up.
We needed to find a place to eat very late, and reviews of Punch Bowl Social. When we arrived, the diner part was closed (11:30 PM) but we were able to get a table in the large, and noisy bar area.
We had the falafel burger with rosemary fries and the Barbados tacos. Both were good. The dinner was very noisy, given the busy bar area and the in-house bowling lanes.
A plus if that the restaurant has its own parking lot. This place is good for bar food with a group.
First time visiting Punch Bowl, I’ve heard it mentioned as a ‘Denver thing to do!’ It was pretty cool, I’ll be back for more games n’ beer!
We ordered a punch bowl and found a black hair sticking out of one of the ice cubes in the punch bowl.
We have been to the Punch Bowl Social at Stapleton and the drinks had more flavor there.
The spicy edamame at the Stapleton location had more flavor and the glaze was thicker.
The service and attention provided by the staff at Stapleton was a much better experience.
Our waiter was awful. I had a huge group for my birthday, and there were no other tables and our waiter hardly ever came back to check on us. We had to waive him down to get more drinks and our check. Terrible.
This was our first time. We had terrible service & we had a reservation... I asked for a booth & was told they only seat 4... so I moved us because my seven yr old doesn’t take any space & no men were dining w/ us. We were not even asked for drink orders for 10minutes or more. No one talked up anything. No one seemed to know what was special about mother’s day there & we had to ask so many questions to so many people... Your job is to educate the guest... my mom was disappointed it wasn’t a bunch buffet... however the kids buffet was perfect & I wish I could have eaten that! I did like the mom-Oosa bar but the Bloody Mary mix wasn’t refilled so it looked gross... my chicken was over cooked. The bread & fancy jam was great! We had to ask about free games & only the purple haired girl in the games area was helpful & AMAZING. She is the only person that was doing a great job, everyone else could care less about us being there... we were just trying to have a fun & special mother’s day... My mom asked about the bowl for your meal everyone said no except later when we talked to the awesome purple haired girl but seemed to late at that point. The video games were free but it wasn’t really free till 3pm because 2:45 the guy w/ the quarters ducked out & everyone else played clueless. They kept saying oh there should be credit but there games were out... Honestly it felt lame... why wasn’t there specials for bowling or the other things. Why didn’t staff know what’s going on & why didn’t anyone really try to make our bunch nice? It was a disappointment to me & especially to my mom & even to my kids ages 12,10 & 7. I will be telling people not to celebrate there...
Had another great Easter Brunch experience! The mushroom biscuits and gravy—delicious.
Easter Brunch with my daughter and her friends. I had thought there would be some kind of brunch buffet so expectations were off a bit! Yummy Bloody Mary bar. Regular breakfast menu with a few Easter specials. It’s a fun place but food was good, not great. Service was good at first but as the restaurant became busy, service was spotty. Forgot i had ordered beignets so had to remind him. I will go again.
I go back and yet every time I repeat to myself that the food is not good. Our waitress was like a deer in headlights. Forgot our bloody mary, tried to clear our plates while we were still eating...The atmosphere is fun, the bar is fun, but for brunch and lunch I say NO
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. I made a reservation for 4 which included myself, husband and a friend and her husband. I have not seen this friend in almost 20 years. We occupied our table for almost 4 hours catching up, eating and enjoying drinks. I don’t normally stay at any restaurant that long and felt guilty for taking space for so long. The staff did not pressure us to leave, nor did they make us feel unwanted. Thank you SO MUCH for allowing me to spend that time with my friend and providing amazing service. Whenever I am in Denver, Punch Bowl is always my go to for amazing, creative and delicious food! I
Decided to give this place a try out on my way back from visiting the Denver Art Museum. Seen tons of great reviews and I will say that they definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles which is one of their most popular dishes. There’s also an arcade on the second floor if you’re into video games. Will visit again very soon.
Awesome place lots of fun
Unless you're into paying $16 for a fried bologna burger, terrible "tacos", overpriced P.B sandwich then this place is for you. They have a very limited overpriced menu with no variety. They only offer 4 main course meals. Definitely do not recommend to eat.
Fabulous spot for family fun, but also lively crowd. Plenty of fun games for the kids, bowling, photos, etc. Fun cocktails! Creative Cuisine - great for brunch!
Service was horrible and wait staff was rude. Vibes and food were good
The ambiance was good. The host and waitress were nice. The food was good, but biting into a hot chili in the quesadilla ruined it. Too many vegetables, the highlight of a quesadilla should the meat and cheese. The drink was pretty good.
We were seated and within a short amount of time we gave our order to the waiter. The dining room was less than half full but we noticed our order seemed to be taking an unusually long time so the waiter said he would check on it. He then stopped by with a couple of mini biscuits for us to snack on while we waited and informed us it wouldn’t be much longer. After another 10 min, I asked if there was a problem and the waiter said there was a large party whose order was causing a delay in the kitchen. However, when I mentioned we had given him our order before he took theirs, he went back to the kitchen to check again. We were then informed the kitchen had lost our ticket and they were working on making our food. At this point in time, we had been waiting for our food for over 40 min now so we thought ok, we can give a bit longer as it should be coming out shortly. The manager stopped by our table to apologize and offer to cover “something” of our meal. Ok well that was nice so we continued to wait. After more time, still no food...or offer to get us anything else. So we got up and left after being there for an hour with nothing but water and a couple of mini biscuits. All I can say is it was a very disappointing experience. :(
We had a large group of 30 and they accommodated us so well! Service was excellent, food was excellent and entertainment was way better than expected! The boys love the VR and the girls love the karaoke rooms. Fantastic place for a large group!
Hello! We had a great time meeting for happy hour after work. the only down side in our plans is our group didn't get a chance to bowl. We were unaware of the of the reservation rule for happy hour bowling. My thoughts are in the future the hostess should ask questions regarding what type of meeting or event we are having, what is the purpose and then make suggestions according to the type. I think this would have help our outing plans to be a little bit more successful.
Great place to have a Happy Hour and networking event. Venue provides an energetic environment that allows people to have fun.
We went there mid-day on a weekday for a company lunch and celebration (bowling and foosball). The food was great and a fun mix to pass around and the games were festive! We had a fun time!
all I can think of is that this place is a circus for young people. Don't go there to converse! it won't happen...service was slow.
We had s wonderful time here! It was my Mother in laws birthday and she had never been here before. We started with brunch and kept the party going! Service was excellent!
Our waiter did a great job.
There were six in our party, and we all had a good time. We enjoyed our food, including he desserts.
Had my friends birthday party and y'all were so accommodating! Thank you for everything!!!!!
The breakfast menu has changed and that was a disappointment. I miss the protein-rich breakfasts with vegetables. Those ‘salads’ with the grains, eggs, and superfoods were a real highlight, and the new kids menu was a let down for my boys. The waitress was accommodating but overall I felt like the last few breakfasts were much, much better.
Food exceeded our expectations and a great beer selection. Had a lot of fun playing ping pong and Tom the bartender up there was really great.
Had a great time! Definitely will be back.
Group Breakfast Update
This last Saturday, a group of us met for breakfast at Punch Bowl Social on Broadway. Our food was decent. A couple of us tried the Wolf and the Hen, which was a fried bologna sandwich with cheese, egg and potato chips. Others tried the Knock-off Burger, the Standard Breakfast and Duck Confit Huevos. I will only vouch for myself and Bob that we both enjoyed our food. Bob really liked his burger with its mystery "comeback sauce" which was basically Thousand Island dressing served with crispy shoestring fries. My bologna sandwich was pretty good, but I wish I had asked for the egg to be cooked runnier...I just forgot.
The service was spotty (no spoons, dirty plate, multiple requests for cream and coffee top-offs.) I think 9am might be a bit too early for the crowd that works there. The place was empty until closer to 11am.
Make sure to check if there is a private event. We didn’t realize and that through us for a loop. Foods good, drinks good. Games are good but there’s so many people that it’s hard to hear each other and the wait for the games are too much.
