Just plain horrible all around from the service to the food. To be told you are out of straws after ordering a drink and the fact covid is going on who would want to drink straight out of the glass. Waitress rude left a 0 tip for her
I'm from Michigan..Called and asked if we could do a walk-in. The young lady tells my husband and I "yes"/ We get there..and the put put area is closed//staff seemed pretty uninformed. I feel the staff could have let us know what was available and what wasn't. Never even seen anyone smile either...didn't seem fun at all so we left.
It was really nice once getting in there. The most confusing part was at the door when everyone’s crowded up. I had a reservation so it was annoying to have to wait when everyone else did not have one. Food was pretty good, drinks a little overpriced overall good though
It was my husbands birthday and we was on the rooftop which was amazing they only thing I hated was the service people was all over the place and did not have no one to actually take our orders
Horrible service. Waited over 30 mins for a drink. Waited 1.5 hours for food. The food was very good, but not worth the wait.
Our service was very slow, we waited 30 minutes to get our drinks, our server never came to ask if he wanted more drinks. Our server never told us when it was last call for alcohol.
Our server was nice for the most part but the place was empty and there were a bunch of employees just standing around doing nothing. Service was pretty slow and everyone was really odd with how they behaved and treated us, including the activities person. Probably wouldn’t ever do a business event there again. Wasn’t horrific but definitely wasn’t good.
Our server was absolutely horrible, we had a party of 10. It took forever to get initial service, then she messed up everyone’s orders for example, I asked for fries and never received them, asked for a milkshake and it never came till I reminded her twice, someone else asked for one, she brought the wrong one, asked for a drink with Red Bull on the side, they added it, which made it water downed, she replaced it and then brought the last persons burger after everyone had finished eating I might add and was so happy to say she put the pickles on the side which we didn’t ask for. Service was super slow, we couldn’t even get our water refilled. She made excuse after excuse and didn’t even know the menu!
Food and food service were not good. Almost every person in our party had something wrong with their dish. We waited 60 minutes for our appetizers. Our waiter had a disagreement with a bus boy at our table. They misplaced a drink ticket so half of our drinks were late. Chicken and waffles came with jalapeño syrup even though the word jalapeño was not on the menu. Tried to order a cream soda and the waiter said they didn’t have any of those drinks in over a year. Reprint the menu! Skee ball stole $3 from us. I could go on... like the waiter wearing his coat over his clothing when serving our food. Unprofessional and a waste of our money.
We enjoyed a company night out!! Menu was good, would have liked to have the falafel for vegetarians. Service was good did not take reservations for 11 we had to make 2 separate reservations on open table, but it worked out ok . Nobody ever contacted us back, had to find it online that they don’t take larger groups/.
Went for New Years brunch. Would not return. Breakfast skillet did not come as described. See photo of it filled with French fries instead of hash browns. Breakfast English muffin came as toast instead. No water at the table. Also our appetizer never arrived. Very bad experience overall.
We had a reservation, the place was not busy, and our service was not good. We had to keep asking for our waitress and refills on water. We sat right in front of the downstairs bar, and still had less than fair service. The food was mediocre, the chicken wings they served us were not cooked. By the time I bit into one, three of the kids had eaten several of them, the center was completely raw. I lost my taste for the rest of the dinner. The best item in the menu was the burgers, per my kids feedback, the queso was ok.
The manager came out and apologized, took the wings off the bill.
We will not go there again, unless just for drinks and to play the games. Overall disappointing first time.
The restaurant ran out of chicken wings and queso dip which was many of us wanted to order.
Service was horrible. Our waitresses told us that she had 12 tables. Poor front of house management. We were there for a browns game and had a reservation. There was no reason for them to be so slow. They weren’t that busy and the people that were there were mostly on their way to the game. Dinner took over 2 hours for 2 people and we were almost late to an 8:20 game when we arrived at 5:30 for dinner.
Love the Punch Bowl. Ashley was a Server and she was amazing. Attentive, gave recommendations and always had a smile on her face when she came to the table.
Made reservations for brunch after a night in Cleveland. 3 out of 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and waffles which were delicious! Seemed like it would be a fun place to visit again with all of the activities...bowling, arcade, putt putt. This time around unfortunately most of the games had out of order signs. Won’t keep us from coming back again though, Kant more menu choices to try!
Marked me as not showing up for my reservation
A group of 6 girls went out for a bachelorette party. Our server was friendly but was not knowledgeable about the menu. A couple ladies ordered Bud Light he brought back Budweiser. Then said he couldn't tell if it was Bud Light or Budweiser on the menu when he placed the order. The next time around one of the girls ordered a Corona she suggested that they had Corona Light so she said sure I'll have a Corona Light then, he brought her back a Corona. The bride-to-be asked about their featured punch he had no idea what was in it so she asked if he was new and he said no. The atmosphere was nice, the food was good, the server needed to be more knowledgeable about their items on the menu.
Went there for my best friend’s bachelorette party
The service was horrible! It was a Wednesday night so it wasn’t busy at all. The only reason I drove 40 minutes to come there was for the karaoke for my daughters birthday. I asked as soon as we arrived for our 6:30 reservation and was told there were two rooms available should be no problem. After dinner I went to book the karaoke room and was told the one on the main floor was broke and the one upstairs would be about a 45 minute wait. She took my number to text me when it was ready . At 9 pm we walked downstairs and she looked at me and said oh sorry we shut down the second floor. SHE HAD MY PHONE NUMBER and my party sat around for 50 minutes doing nothing. After we left upset I called the manager because my daughters birthday was completely ruined. And the manger said the downstairs karaoke room isn’t broke all they had to do was reset it...at this point my group already left we weren’t going to come back and pay parking again (3 cars) the manager apologized and said a gm would reach out to me ( still no call). For a very slow night this was unacceptable I couldn’t imagine the service on a busy night..
When we arrived, we were promptly seated, but after about 5 minutes with no word from a staff person we were informed that we wouldn’t be able to put in any food for 45 minutes. Then once our food would be put in, it would be 45-60 min before we would get our food because of the rush of tables (about 5 or more tables) that would need to put food orders in. I’m assuming their system was down (staff never confirmed).
I completely understand that it’s out of their control, but it would have been nice to notify us before we came in or as soon as we came through the door. We (group of 8) were there for a bachelorette dinner and trying to find a place that would take a group last minute was not easy.
Great food! Waiter was really nice, just a little slow in bringing our drinks back but no biggie! We were happy and had a good time before the Kacey Musgraves concert!
Service was ok the food was slow coming out and was cold , so I had to send my food back but the food was very good
Horrible service. Worse food. My 81 year old dad was ready to order Uber eats because his food was taking so long. I'm sure it would have been quicker and better. Everything was cold, gloppy sausage gravy, dried potatoes that were like eating leftovers from the night before, rubbery scrambled eggs. Did I say everything was cold? Server who never smiled and didn't care. Hostess who didnt care. Manager who didn't care. When I talked to the manager...not even an apology. This was a brunch reservation for a wedding party made months ago. No excuse for being understaffed.
There were only 2 other tables seated when we got there, so there was no wait, although I had a reservation. Our waitress could not have been any less interested in being there ("I guess it's like, rented out or something tonight, I don't know"). It started to fill up after, but we had to wait an hour for our food to come out and almost a half hour for drinks and our appetizer. The appetizer was actually brought out twice, and the waitress criticized us for not taking the mistake. We ventured to the game hall then and it was full of people just sitting there doing nothing, so we couldn't even get a drink and have a seat. It as a really strange vibe and not a very inviting one.
Very fun and very adaptive. So many things to do and try.I had a great time.
I was so excited to try it. I made reservations for dinner on Sunday evening. Was not very busy. Got seated quickly but was very disappointed my date and I tried to order 4 different things off the menu but they were out of all of them. We decided to finish our drink and leave. Went to get food else where. Was a big disappointment!
Overall it was a good dining experience. However, 1 member of our party had to wait quite some time to get her food. The rest of our party was almost finished eating by the time she received her food. There were 2 bartenders at the rooftop bar but one was training. So essentially there was one bartender and he was also doing the training. Both kept apologizing for the delay in service.
Was looking for a good place to enjoy some fireworks on the 4th. Found this place and decided to take my GF there. It was our first time there. There are a TON of activities you can do, from bowling, mini golf, arcade games and board games and I’m sure more we hadn’t even discovered. The food was fantastic and they had a nice variety of items. With all that said, the service was not the finest. As I had never had wine we already knew we were going to get a bottle so she picked a bottle and ordered it. We waited for what had to be close to 15 minutes for the server to bring the drinks and take our food order. Once he did arrive it was with just 2 glasses of wine and not what we asked for. We placed our food order and once it was delivered by a runner, we did not see our server till we had finished our food and sat with empty glasses for more than half our meal. We paid for our dining experience and went to explore and make our way to the roof top bar (great view). We stood at the bar for the duration of our time on the roof. We got our first round promptly but then would stand with empty glasses and crushed cans and cash out watch as the bartender would pass us by. I know some who read this will say it was the 4th it was busy. We arrived for dinner early or reservation was at 730pm and we were sat at just after 7. It wasn’t crowded in the dining or roof top bar when we were there. By the time we left it had started to fill up around 9pm.
Overall this place is fantastic but there are some things that need to be improved. If the server and bartenders had shown a little more attention to there area I would have given a 5 star for sure. We will be back though, fingers crossed with get a different server though.
Waiter was very inattentive. I had to, literally, flag the guy down an remind him that I was there. This happened twice during my 1 visit...just NO
My husband and I went with our family and unfortunately, we had a few key disappointments. First, we had to pay for parking, even though it was a Sunday and there was no valet available. There were plenty of parking spaces right out front of the restaurant but those were off limits. Second, our waitress only came to check on us as we finished our dinner and then as we flagged down another server to get our bill. We also had to request another staff for more water and then more napkins. No one cleared our appetizer plates or any of the plates when we were finished. The day was a slow day overall so there was no excuse to check in on us. We were served the taco entrees on a cutting board, which though so trendy, not practical. It wasn't wide enough to cover the food that spilled out of the taco when we ate them. It made trying to contain the food as you ate very difficult because it would then fall onto the table. Who wants to eat it then? I would recommend getting a larger piece to serve the food on. Lastly, the booth seats were way too low. We all felt like children sitting in chairs too large as we ate. The table nearly came up to our shoulders and made eating comfortably very awkward. We would have asked to move but we didn't realize the issue until our food came.
Food took longer than expected. Very little chicken in salad with chicken. One order came out missing a key ingredient.
The food was amazing however the service was very slow for being a Tuesday night with not many people in the restaurant. It was moderately priced for the large portions that you receive.
We were so excited to check out this place. Fun activities for the whole family, a fun-looking menu, and the main reason we went: fun milk shakes and root beer floats for the kids!
We arrived about 5:30 and the place was dead. We saw the mini golf and were excited to play. We were seated and started to order, which is when the experience fell apart. First son ordered a milk shake, but we found out the milk shake machine was broken. Second son ordered a root beer float (they touted a craft soda brand), and we were told they were out of root beer. Sigh. Older son went with water, younger son got a craft lemon lime soda, and drank three sips. My wife and I got cocktails. Hers was okay, and my punch made with bourbon tasted like weak lemonade.
We decided to focus on mini golf. They ended up giving that to us for free ($9 per person for a nine hole course), which was a saving grace.
The place could be quite awesome, but I doubt we will give it a second chance.
Arrived on time for our reservation only to be told that the kitchen would not be taking orders for another hour because they were backed up. We had to find another place to eat (which was not easy on a beautiful Saturday night) or we wouldn’t be eating until 9:30 or 10 pm
Awesome environment, stellar service, and food was great. We were there for lunch, which was a bit of an unknown to me since I'd only been to Punch Bowl before for the drinking. They proved to me that their establishment is perfect for far more than the late night outings I'd relegated them to. This place knows how to cook up a cool, neat meal--utterly delectable. I'm also gluten free, and they were very considerate. Had a burger with a gfree bun that was great, and the appetizers really held up--got the nachos and the fries. Yeah, brought my coworkers and boss and everyone had a superb experience.
4 guests for a Sunday brunch. Service was very slow and not pleasant. Was not too busy either. 2 meals had to go back because they were cold. Manager did take off the bill. Music very loud and unpleasant for a Sunday afternoon brunch.
We were seated at a low top table in the dining room but right directly behind the bar. It was the noisiest place I have ever been at. We asked if we could be moved in we were told no.The place was crowded but not that bad. It took over an hour to get a drink. I also received an email saying that we didn’t show up which was not true.
Showed up to our reservation at 5pm for my sons graduation party. We had only 8 people in our party, and it was a huge disappointment. Only 2 people received their food. We were told the other orders would arrive 45 minutes later.
We attempted to order more drinks and the server never came back. We had to speak with a manager 3 times. While the two drinks, 2 meals, and 2 appetizers were comped, we had to go to a drive through to eat after waisting nearly 3 hours of our evening.
