We ordered based on the waiters recommendation and was not disappointed. It was so good
Double birthday’s
Wonderful time! Food was great!
The atmosphere was great! The young lady performing the soft music was very good. Food was awesome. Mackenzie was a terrific server. Highly recommend Puckett's and will return.
Overall excellent! Food, service, quality and value were great! Absolutely no wait time with reservation using open table app!
Went for Valentine’s date night. The friend chicken was amazing and the live music did a really good job. Awesome atmosphere
Our food was absolutely delicious, but our server was never to be found. We had to leave mid meal because our son had to be taken to the hospital (he wasn’t with us), and no one could find her to get our check. Finally, she walked out very nonchalantly and we were able to pay and leave. The atmosphere was great.
Date night with my wife
The smoked meatloaf and the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese are fabulous!!!
Scrumptious barbecue, tasty strong drinks. Fried green tomatoes were over-fried but still good over warm pimento cheese. Favorite: homemade fried pound cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. OMG! We’ll be back.
Friendly staff, great food, great music. Cant wait to go again!
The food was excellent. I had pulled pork. Very tasty, great sauces. My wife had meat loaf and loved it.
It was just a very unfortunate experience top to bottom. I will preface this with the fact that we had an issue with our reservation that was handled professionally and fairly by the team at Puckett’s. This review is strictly for the dining experience itself.
The service was painfully slow and our server struggled to get the right meal to the right person. Further, the drinks from the bar were very poorly made (or poured.) My wife received a glass of wine in a glass that had visible food on the outside of the glass and didn’t appear to have been washed. The food was really just poorly prepared too to bottom. Our appetizers were over-cooked. The chicken I ordered was cold, chewy, and had no flavor outside of the whiskey sauce it came with.
I’ve previously been to Puckett’s in Franklin and enjoyed the experience, but this meal - which cost $70, was on-par with something I could get at McDonalds. Very disappointing.
I came for the live music. Jason Lyles was awesome.
Great family-friendly place particularly before live music. Great food Great value.
Terrific meal, outstanding service - Piggy Mac & cheese and pecan cobbler are amazing!
This is the second year that we have had Thanksgiving Dinner at Pucketts. The food was good. Noise level was OK -- but not as loud as restaurants that insist on playing loud music at a time when you would like to carry on a conversation without yelling. (Sore point for me.)
Pucketts would be one of the top choices for next Thanksgiving.
My husband got the meatloaf and wasn't very impressed with it. We have eaten at Puckett's once before in the passed and he liked it then but he wasn't happy with it this time. ANd it could have just been what he chose to get. The BBQ pimento cheese bites were amazing. The pricing was a little higher than we are used to for the amount of food that was received.
We went for a friends birthday and thought it would be delicious. My son loved the burger, but my chicken sandwich was average. The waitress was really nice and very attentive to us. They did bring free birthday dessert for my friend which was nice.
Food was good. The kitchen was extremely slow considering the restaurant was not crowded.
The service was outstanding (special shout out to Alyssa she was great) also the live music volume level was reasonable and well mixed. Overall I had a wonderful evening, the food was awesome, and will be back again.
Thanks,
Wayne
Great server, great atmosphere, horrible cold and nasty nachos - TWICE. Nachos were cold from the cheese sauce to the meat. Meat was two big lumpy, stringy, gristly scoops of pork on top. Sent the first one back, and the 2nd was equally as cold but at least the meat wasn't so nasty. Server was nice and very attentive, but the kitchen didn't have his back by sending out crap food like this. We expected much better from Puckett's.
The coldness and lack of taste made us lose our appetite and we didn't order any more food from here after the 2nd batch of nasty nachos came out.. Never got a table visit from a manager either.
Multiple attempts to get the drink we ordered and still receive the wrong drink. Server not very attentive
Great people and service, and the food was terrific. Went on a Wednesday night around 8:00 and the place was half full and unfortunately no music, but the food was outstanding (BBQ taco wrap with collared greens and other sides). Local brew was very good and the location was perfect.
We enjoyed our dinner. The food was really good, and it was a great location.
It was great, as always! Great food, great service, and a great environment!
My wife and I went to Puckett's on a recent visit to Chattanooga. We had a great time. The staff was very friendly. Our waiter was helpful and knowledgeable about the various items on the menu. Comfort food options abound. The night we went there was free live music. Fun night in downtown Chattanooga.
The only reason we chose Puckett's was because they were the only ones to take a reservation. Given the amazing restaurants we have in Chattanooga, this was so disappointing for our out of town guests. No one finished their meal. All were below average. The dessert was not good either. Our waiter was good, but most of the extras (more dressing, tartar sauce, etc.) we asked for never made to our table. We won't be back. Please encourage 1885, Beast Barrel, Tony's, etc. to take reservations!
The service was excellent, the food was delicious and they bussed the tables frequently. We only wish that the live music lasted longer while we were there.
This was our first trip to Puckett’s and we very much enjoyed it! We’ll definitely be back.
We enjoyed a couple of beers and an appitizer at the bar, where we were well treated. Then we moved to a table where we split an entree before the music started. We were seated right by the stage which was fine since the music was two acoustic guys and not too loud. During the show we split a desert, and of course enjoyed several more beverages. Our waiter took great care of us and the show was great. It was our first visit here and Chattanooga, and we will recommend it to anybody.
5 people for a business meal. Great service and food. Only complaint was it was a little noisy, but not so much that you couldn't here one another. I'd rate at 4.5/5 stars. I will definitely go again.
It was absolutely wonderful! Been Chapman was phenomenal! We will be back Everytime he is there.
Service was good however my wife found plastic in her slider, that ruined the evening. Of course Puckett’s took it off the bill and asked if they could get her something else, but she had already lost her appetite. Very unfortunate because we were looking forward to a nice evening out with a good meal, a few drinks and live music. Disappointing.
Delicious southern style dishes with flavor and home cooked taste. The whiskey salmon with mashed sweet potatoes was a delight.
The food was good and our waitress did a good job. The hostess though she was rude and when I said we had a reservation seemed annoyed with a large party. Probably not the person you want making a first impression.
Absolutely! We brought with us some family who were visiting from out of town. They loved it. Everything was perfect and delicious....just as we have come to expect! Thanks for a great meal.
I had the pulled pork sandwich, but was told by others with us that the brisket was the absolute best. We had the best waiter I've ever had anywhere- very engaging and told bad jokes, making everyone laugh and groan, and settled down some screamy kids at a table next to us by spinning a menu on his finger. They were in awe. P.S. the smoker outside smells WONDERFUL!
Our server was amazing and will ask for her again. She made our date night special
Started off little shaky we almost left because the host was really rude. But boy am I glad we ignored him and stayed. The waiter(Conner) was awesome. The food was probably some of the best BBQ ever. We explained what happened with the host to the manager and they were very apologetic and assured us that's not how they treat customers. Everything else about the experience was excellent. Will definitely go back. All of the wait staff, bus staff , managers, everyone else in the restaurant was beyond friendly and personable. A new favorite.
