About Puckett's 5th & Church
Founded in the fifties, people have been congregating at Puckett"s for over half a century. We've updated a bit, added some recipes from our family and friends, and thrown in some great live music. But it's still Puckett's Grocery... nothing too fancy, but everything good. It's where the locals go for real food, real people and real fun.

Puckett's 5th & Church Ratings and Reviews
This is a go-to spot when we have tickets to shows at TPAC - it is close, convenient, the food and service have always been great - they also play great music in the background. I have also been to Puckett's on live music nights. Quite a treat. We enjoyed our evening meal with good friends before the show (Les Mis) so it was one great night!
Food was delicious. Service was great. We made a reservation so there was no waiting for us but I heard others were having to wait 30 minutes to an hour. This was our first time at this location, we have been to the Franklin restaurant before. We were not disappointed. Would recommend to anyone who likes good food in a great atmosphere.
My appetizer was delicious - I had the fried green tomatoes. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was not worth eating. The chicken tasted bad and the texture was not right. We chose this reatuarant because it was close to TPAC, but I won't go again.
The food was mediocre at best. Everything I had was fried and that’s genuinely hard to screw up, but everyone else did not enjoy their meal. The music was a one man band and so NOT up to the Nashville standards we have come to expect. Wish we had brought our out of town guests somewhere else. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
First off I understand that I went on a Friday night and that it is one of the busiest times to go to a restaurant. The food was okish. The prime rib was well done and dry when I ordered medium, the sides were cold when they arrived....not sure what happened I personally normally love going to Puckett’s! The live music is awesome, as it was on this Friday night but I had to ask a manager for a refill after my server had asked me if I needed one 8-10 minutes before. It did seem like the customers who ordered alcohol got preferential treatment...if someone I want to see is playing there I would go back but probably not spring for prime rib....the location in Chattanooga has always been amazing and I have heard great things from my family about this location as well as the one in Franklin. Not sure if they were short handed or what but it wasn’t the normally amazing experience that Puckett’s provides.
Great food at reasonable prices. Also excellent service in addition to a great room/bar to hang at. A nice change of pace from the Broadway and 2nd restaurants. Most importantly, the Sunday night music showcase was fantastic. Great acts playing for us while we ate our meal, and we were not rushed to leave the venue! Loved it.
My wife and I went here more for the music than the food. We were BBQ'd to death by the time we got there so this wouldn't be a fair review on food alone. The food we did order was good but not what we consider great. However, the global atmosphere headed up by phenominal music, followed by great service, drinks and good food made for an overall excellent experience. We will go back on our next trip to Nashville, for sure.
We have been here several times, but this time the service was poor and the food was cold when it reached our table.
We were embarrassed since we had guests from out of town with us. The greeters were chatting with their friends and a boyfriend, and the server seemed rushed and a little stressed. It was a busy Monday for the restaurant, but we were hoping for a better experience!
I've been here before a couple years ago and food was fantastic. This trip made me want to never return. I was so looking forward to piggy Mac which was dried out. The fried green tomatoes were disgusting and cold. The smoked meatloaf was the only edible dish out of the 3 entrees ordered. We never got our dessert we ordered and the waitress acted bothered when we had to ask for refills after sitting for 10 to 15 mins with empty glasses. I will never return.
