About Puckett's 5th & Church
Founded in the fifties, people have been congregating at Puckett"s for over half a century. We've updated a bit, added some recipes from our family and friends, and thrown in some great live music. But it's still Puckett's Grocery... nothing too fancy, but everything good. It's where the locals go for real food, real people and real fun.

Puckett's 5th & Church Ratings and Reviews
Had a dinner reservation on Jan. 16. The restaurant closed early due to snow (even as nearby events and concerts went on), but no one from Puckett's bothered to contact us. Walked from our hotel to the restaurant only to find a note taped to the door. Really?
We ate here three times during our visit. Although we were staying right across the street that wasn't the reason for going back. Their food was excellent. The service was wonderful. Fried chicken to die for. Love their pucket light beer and husband liked the Yazoo beer. A+++
We were looking for somewhere casual to go after walking around all new years day that had live music. Thank you for being opened on the holiday. We enjoyed ourselves and the place was busy with others enjoying themselves too. We froze through dinner (with our coats on) and moved to the bar for the remainder of the entertainment. We will be back on a more normal kind of evening.
Enjoyed our dinner. Live music. Food was good, as expected- not spectacular. You go here for bar food, atmosphere & music. Wait staff was very attentive & did a great job considering the space/crowding & noise level. Was a fun environment, and quite different than New England.
We came on vacation and were told about the great food here! We loved it! The staff was friendly, the Love music was wonderful! The portion sizes of our dinners were more than enough! The Tennessee Philly is a must! I went to buy a shirt and one of the staff walked me over you show me every style they had. We will be back for sure!
The service was by far the best aspect of our dining experience. Chris was our server. he was knowledgeable about the menu and happily gave recommendations. He checked on us frequently enough that we never went without. At the end of our dinner, he brought out a dessert and said the kitchen made an extra one. I just thought that was so kind of him to think of us and to do that. Their monthly drink special was creative and delicious and we also enjoyed their draft beer selections.
The food and the service was excellent. The food was what was the real winner! Such a great variety of items on the menu and not overpriced. The standout has to be the complimentary half potato pancakes/cornbread; highly unusual and wonderful! The live band was an added plus and made you feel right at home in Nashville. My daughter graduated from college and she had Puckett's recommended to her, and my whole family, including my 85 year-old mother and 89 year-old stepdad loved it! The food was so fresh and the meats were so tasty; so much flavor! I wish you would come to Texas!!!!
