Chicken Fried Chicken + Fried Green Beans + open Mic night. AMAZING!
The food was amazing as always and service was wonderful. My absolutely favorite restaurant in Nashville!
Always a stop when we are in Nashville! Never disappoints!
Not happy with Menu change. Here on open table it’s one
Menu and when in the restaurant it’s now another. Booked a dinner there to eat something specific and then was very disappointed when it wasn’t available. Restaurant did nothing to make experience better, just said “pick something else that’s not available anymore more.” Will not return to this restaurant they don’t seem like they care if you are happy or not because they are very busy and don’t need too!
Excellent, country-style food, with a spicy kick if you so desire. Meatloaf was the best meal at the table. Green beans were not the country style we’re used to-not enough bacon grease. Chicken sandwich spicy delicious. Entertainment while we ate, live music,(what else would you expect in Nashville). We enjoyed dinner so much, went back for breakfast the next morning—it did not disappoint. Recommend for any meal.
Really enjoyed this place. Not a lot of choice for vegetarians . Would go again.
My only complaints are that the ribs were not fall off the bone tender..they were tough and my chicken platter portion was small. Otherwise..killer Mac and sliders!
Great food, great music, great service!
Solid all around experience that we’ve come to expect from this restaurant. My main complaint is they seem to have cut down on their portion sizes.
We had a table in the corner with a great view of the musical entertainment. It was enjoyable and not so loud that you couldn’t carry on a conversation. Great service and ambiance 😀
Very charming little nook. Food was amazing and prices were good.
Great southern comfort food and great drinks, service and entertainment as well!
Was recommended by a friend and now I can recommend it also!
Very popular spot but a bit noisy. Got the piggy Mac to split, thankfully. It was too salty. The pecan cobbler was delicious and the Sunday night musician was very good.
Second year having to dine here. Love the atmosphere and music was good! Food delicious!
Pucketts is one of our favorites. We usually take our out of town guests there before a night on Broadway. This visit was just that, out of town friends. They were very excited to try chicken and waffles and it is one of my favorites at Puckett’s. So we get our menus and .....no more chicken and waffles? Waiter said it was taken off the menu because it was hard to make during busy times. Not sure who made that call. We are very disappointed and will be finding other places (there are many to choose from) to take our friends.
We couldn't get in Puckett's last time we came to Nashville so this time we made reservations. The duo performing on June 29th was awesome, and the food was very good (particularly loved the queso appetizer!). The service was the best ... super attentive even though very busy. Great night!
LOVED THE FOOD, GREAT PRICING, BUT MUSIC VOLUME WAS HORRENDOUSLY LOUD
Great food, great service - Emily was our waitress! Unbelievable drinks - must have Peach Palmer!
I went to listen to a specific musical artist. I expected the food would be so-so like many of the places I've been to listen to music in Nashville. Boy was I happy when the food was the best I've had at a place with live music in Nashville! Better than The Listening Room, Bluebird, etc. Highly recommend any of the BBQ meats, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potato fries, etc. It was ALL good. So was dessert! Very generous portions as well. Busy and kind of loud since there are a lot of tables, but that's to be expected.
Good Hot Chicken Sandwich!
I had a reservation but arrived a little sooner than expected; we were seated right away with no waiting. The smell in the air was scrumptious and when we got our food, it delivered! We ate the pimento cheese balls with red pepper jelly for an appetizer and the piggymac with a jalapeno corncake for our main course...I think I went to Heaven! Our server was attentive and friendly. The casual atmosphere made us feel right at home. We will DEFINITELY be back!
Great food, Great music. Great night! Visiting from out of town. Best dinner of the trip. Live music too!!! Recommend a reservation.
Puckett's 5th and Church was recommended by numerous people familiar with Nashville food scene. The location we chose was a short walk from Ryman Auditorium. The pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw was delicious. There was live entertainment which consisted of a musician with an acoustic guitar. I made dinner reservations for 8:30pm a full day in advance through the opentable website. Even through the restaurant was full and live entertainment was on stage, we were still able to have a conversation throughout dinner. Service was quick and friendly. Following dinner, we were able to make the short walk back to the Lower Broadway area.
Excellent music (John Bowlin) . Great service. Excellent night out
Good food. Freezing cold though, got seated right under AC and my wife wouldn’t let me ask to change seats. Lol
My family recommend this place for fried Chicken, the food was good. I can not complain about that.
But my choices was a 2pc white or dark meat meal.
I have never felt so rushed by a server in all my life. We went late so there was no music and most people have left already. So there was no need to rush us. I would think there is better places to eat in Nashville.
Great food, great service and great music. Enjoyed Pucketts
Great food and relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of food and great local beer selection.
My group and I enjoyed the aroma while anticipating our dinners to arrive. We weren't disappointed at all. The food and our server were great. We will visit again.
Food was awesome! Vanessa was an awesome waitress. We came back the next night for dessert and again for breakfast. All was fantastic. The live music is a great addition to the experience.
The food was great and plenty to eat. We had the pecan cobbler for the dessert and it was fabulous! Plenty to share and a great way to top off the meal. Our server was new and training she was very friendly and she had a training buddy that picked up her slack so all in all it was a great experience.
Myself and my two friends came to start our weekend in Nashville off with some live music and good food. We were greeted by unfriendly hosts who immediately told us the wait would be 1.5 hours, we had to let her know we had a reservation because she never asked. Our server never told us his name and was overall unfriendly and pretty curt. The food was pretty good, worth the value at least. We enjoyed the beer and the music the most. Glad we went but may not go back
I was highly disappointed with this restaurant. The service was not good. It took over 15 minutes to even get a drink of water. The food was not hot and was mediocre at best. The ribs were over cooked and extremely dry. The chicken was dry and had no flavor. It is very touristy. Think twice before eating here.
Tied the trip to PUCKETTS for TPAC event. We had reservation and we were seated immediately. We were served quickly. The food was very good, I could not eat it all. Puckett’s has live music, we had to miss since,we had TPAC tickets. Good evening,
New young lady at front desk (it was her
1st day) was really pleasant & professional.
Brian at the bar was entertaining & helpful.
Zac was our server was attentive & busy.
Food was good but staff was excellent.
Great food, amazing music, spectacular service from our server, Maddie.
Service was good, appetizers started the meal in the right direction but the main course was terrible. Very dry pulled pork & poorly done ribs. Not sure if they own a smoker or if they do, need some training. Great atmosphere . Go for the drinks & appetizer then find a better place for your main course.
We sat at a table that was right in front of the counter/bar area. Some of the patrons, while waiting for a chair to open at the counter/bar were standing close behind us. That was a bit annoying especially when a woman put her purse on my companions chair! Otherwise, the food, service, and entertainment was fabulous. Next time, I’ll ask for a table away from this particular area.
From their flexibility with the timing of our arrival to the service and the food, we were really happy with our choice to believe the hype. We had ribs, and loved every bite and finger lick. We even bought a bottle of the rub. Thanks for a great first Nashville bbq experience!
Unfortunately, my visit to Puckett's for Father's Day outing was less than good. Usually, the food is fresh, hot and tasty. However, this visit the food was served late, lukewarm, dried out, sloppy and not seasoned very well (especially Baked Sweet Potato, YUK!). Additionally, the cleanliness of the kitchen, bathrooms and dining area were extremely filthy and dirty. Definitely not the level of standard and, or quality of service we've grown accustomed to at Pucketts.
At any rate, prayerfully service, cleanliness and quality of food will improve upon our next visit to Nashville area again when traveling from Fort Knox, KY!
