We made these reservations far in advance. I requested that we were not seated in certain side rooms due to noise levels. The 2 rooms are small and seated with large tables and they have bare walls that do not absorb sound well. Our party included a member that is sensitive to noise situations like this. I also requested to be away from the kitchen as well for the same reason. Well we were seated in the side room and right by the door across from the kitchen. It was extremely loud with kitchen clanging. Exactly what I was trying to avoid with my request I had placed at least a month prior that was ignored. After we were seated I went up to the hostess and asked why my request had been ignored. She said that it was the last seating, and there were no tables available. Had she planned ahead, there should have been a table for us per our request. I once was a hostess in a restaurant and I know how it works. I sat down and she did come up to us and said that a table opened up. Well by then, the server had greeted us and we had placed our drink order. Food was tasty, but could have been warmer at delivery. We will come back but will again attempt to request a table with accommodation. In hindsight, I should have asked before we sat where she was seating us.

We were a party of 4 for Thanksgiving, including our niece who has special needs with a walker. The check-in couldn't have been easier, and they noted my online request for an accessible table. Cara, our server, was very pleasant and patient with our niece and kindly offered drinks refills and asked if we were happy with our meals or needed anything else. We have been dining here for Thanksgiving for a number of years and this year was the best experience.

Very nice! Thanks to management who read my remarks when I made the reservation that my husband used a walker and I wanted a nice table away from congestion and kitchen. They gave me a lovely table. Great menu with lots of choices - food very good. Service great too.! We will probably come back next Thanksgiving!

Service on Thanksgiving was excellent! My coffee was refilled continuously. Server was attentive and engaged despite being very busy! Sitting by the sunny window was a bit distracting for our party of four, but we understand. We never felt rushed. Food was excellent as always.

Upon returning after many years the setting was still quite lovely, and the staff was very nice! The food was not up to the quality of the past. The turkey and sweet potatoes and dressing were adequate, but the ham seemed perhaps from a can, with little flavor. I was not sure if the green beans were green beans. Also the plate was much too small.

Our anniversary outing was great! Connor provided great service. Food was good. I commented to the desk that the staff hustling and smiling all evening was rare to see. We were given a desert treat too! It is very loud, but most restaurants are. We will come again!

I consider Public Landing to be a true local treasure here in Lockport! We've been dining there frequently over the past five and 1/2 years and are always pleased with service, ambiance, and the quality and value of the food. I've eaten steaks in all of the so-called best steak houses, and the charred New York Strip at Public Landing wins the prize! Diane is the best bartender around and Pam is our favorite server. The hosts are always most cordial and make us feel right at home the moment we enter.

We are return customers at Public Landing. We were so pleased with the pork schnitzel from before that we're so glad to see it back on the menu for the cold season. Have tried other menu items and they were all good. A definite recommendation.

Our server Conner was excellent, but the manager was exceptionally rude. We ordered 3 cosmos that were very red and sweet. The waiter graciously offered to try to repair or replace them. The manager came over and, as he picked them up, said in an annoyed tone: "These are perfectly made." As experienced cosmo drinkers in many restaurants, we know what what should look and taste like, but most importantly, a manager should never say something like that to customers.

I ordered pork tenderloin with garlic potatoes and asparagus. The tenderloin was perfectly grilled while maintaining its moist, flavorful goodness. Our server, Pam, was welcoming and efficient. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Well done, ALL.
