First off, made a reservation through Open Table for 645pm, showed up at 633pm and told 20-25 minutes to be seated. Okay, no problem waiting an extra 5-10 minutes but we didn't get seated until 745pm, basically 45 minutes after they said a table would be available. Second, once seated, it took over 10 minutes for a server to greet us. Third, ordered our food right away and didn't get it until 30 minutes later when half the restaurant was already gone by the time we were seated. Fourth, the chicken tenders were tasteless with no flavor. Fifth, all burgers ordered only had lettuce and did not come with the pickle, onion, or tomato as listed on the menu. The caesar salad was dry with little dressing and flavorless. The only positive was the pleasant attitude of our server. Overall, you are better off going to McDonalds as you will get seated right away, the food is cheaper and the food is 100% better! Do not go to this restaurant!
After visiting family in Arlington Cemetery, we stopped for a late lunch. Don’t let the apathetic hostess dissuade you from staying. The menu offered a broad view of options beyond typical bar food, pretty tasty, well prepared and enjoyed by all. The beer selections offered lots of options and cocktails were strong.
We’ll be back the next time we’re at the Gaylord.
The food was good but having a conversation with the folks at our table was a struggle because of the noise in the restaurant. It was not a good place for a group meal.
Late dinner on a Thursday with some friends. Made reservations but was not needed, seated quickly by window area. Food and drinks were great!
An absolutely awful dining experience from "soup to nuts". Visiting from out of town, and this was the only restaurant in National Harbor with seating at 6 PM. I now know why.
1) Greeted by a waitress whose opening greeting to us was an explanation of the cheeses that the restaurant was out of (?).
2) Told that items that were literally printed on the menu were no longer "on the menu".
3) Had to revise on order as the item ordered (hush puppies) were "unavailable".
4) Orders delivered to the table were incorrect.
5) Items that should have been cold (beer, for instance) were warm, and items that should have been warm were cold.
6) Food was substandard.
7) Service was even worse.
Skip it. Service horrible. Atmosphere worn. Disappointing experience
Good meal good service
Make your servers understand that even if the customer your serving doesn’t get a high price item still treat them like they are the top priority!
Unfortunately, while it was easy to get a reservation for a large party the food was not tasty. The wings were overcooked, the chicken on the salad was dry and fajitas had no taste. There were able to accomodate the request on the salads. We had to signal for our server several times that a plate was dirty and there was no salad dressing on one of the salads.
I will not recommend this restaurant. Thank you
Service was subpar. Had to ask for ketchup three times. Server was unaware of what was out in the facility (pinot grigio, certain sides) and the server still brought out a food plate with the incorrect side dishes. Food was also subpar. Bacon was sour. Cookie came out burnt.
I would not go again.
The pork chop dinner was excellent as was the service and speed of seating. The waitress was efficient both in keeping up with drinks and needs while not overbearing with check-ins. I would definitely come back here again when I am in the area
It was a bit warm in the restaurant as if they were having AC difficulties. The food was great!
Ac was not working. Asked the waiter she looked at us like it’s on. We sit there sweating and in discomfort. The manager comes by we ask him bout the AC he like yes it’s broke and we are working on it. So the whole experience was bad. Couldn’t enjoy and the waiter had us sitting there for 20 minutes waiting on the check, took another 20 to get the check.
Honestly, the food and service were quite good. There is a nice brunch variety and the mimosas were strong (not bottomless, but certainly priced nicely). The problem is the air conditioning is NOT working. The workers tried their best to accommodate, but it was clear they were uncomfortable too. Its incredibly hot outside, so to have a barely working air conditioner is just not good for business. The restaurant was not crowded, which helped with keeping temperatures low, but if this restaurant gets crowded it would be unbearable. Management should fix that asap because it will turn people away.
It was incredibly hot (over 80F) in the restaurant. Our server told us the restaurant has no air conditioning or heat. It is remarkable that it is still in business.
The restaurant was hot and the air conditioning was working. If I did not make reservations, I would have left. The manager and I advise him of heat. He said yes, the air condition is barely working. It is Friday when think you need a new air conditioning. No offer to reduce bill either.
Food was terrible.
I love the Seven Daughters White Wine with the cobb salad.
First time to this establishment. There were three of us, hungry for lunch. We ordered two hamburgers and a fish and chips. All of it was delicious! The only drawback, however, was the sticky floor underneath the table, most likely from the night before. It was thick and dampened my culinary pleasure. I recommend all the floors we checked and cleaned as needed the morning after.
The service was slow, but the server was nice and helpful. The restaurant was empty and yet it still took a while to order. The food wasn’t impressive and I probably wouldn’t go back.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Always good service when we go. Using open table makes it better, normally you can make an online reservation and head on in even when it's crowded.
The food was good but the restuarant smelled like dirty rags and the waitress stopped by all of 2 times. Spend your money elsewhere.
Took my mom for Mother’s Day dinner. We both loved the food and the experience overall was great.
We had a 300 reservation on Mother's day and we wetr sested very quickly. The floors were really dirty with trash. It was cleaned while we were there but it was a sore eye as we entered. I assumed they got behind from the Mother's day brunch because it was not very crowded at 3.
The restaurant was busy so the service wasn’t the greatest. It took a while for the food to be served, the waiter barely visited the table. One of our guests had to return their dish as the food didn’t appear appealing. I would give the restaurant a try on a less busy night.
Overall, good experience. They had our table immediately ready and knew exactly who we were; hostess had great customer service. The food is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. If you like super salty food, perfect place for you.
Service was horrible waitress had a bad attitude wasn’t very attentive. Took 10 mins to be seated in an empty restaurant. Coffee was cold. 6 people drinking coffee asked for extra sugar brought us 6 packs.
The food was decent and I thought the price was fair. It was very loud due to some colorful language and noise coming from the bar. It didn’t bother me, but if you are bothered by that, I would not go for dinner.
The food is only ok and it cost more than it should have.
Brunch on Easter Sunday! Very enjoyable. Great music. Tasty food.
Jambalaya was fantastic .crab cake ok good value for the prize service a little slow but overall great experience
Bland food. Nothing to write home about. Great if you want a quick bite
Food is amazing! You will not be disappointed! The restaurant is clean and team meanders are super helpful. We are customers for life!
Great food, drinks and service. A little pricey but great!
The place had a mildly offensive odor...certainly not that of food. There were bits of paper all over the floor near the entrance. A little sweeping would have helped. Just looked trashy Ordered the Rockfish and it was overcooked. The sides were delicious. Wait staff was excellent and very friendly. Food came out quickly.
Public House is always good! Love the crab dip and the cheesesteak egg rolls...service was great. It's a nice, chill spot. You could go alone or for a date and enjoy yourself.
The cost, the food was just ok, nothing to brag about. I should have expected the noise level because of it being a sports bar
GREAT VISIT AND GREAT FOOD. The philly rolls are a little pricey, but the breakfast was reasonable and ample.
I took my girlfriend out for her birthday. There were 7 people in the party. Everyone got their food but my order was not what I ordered. The waiter said he would get me the right order but he didn't even act like he cared. I spoke with the manager and all he said was I'm sorry. Their attitude was horrible. My bill alone was $100 so I think I should have been compensated for my inconvenience.
