Pub Thirty-Two Ratings and Reviews
We had a great time. Food was outstanding and our server was friendly and polite. He did seem like he was new-ish and was still learning the flow of things. I was a little disappointed that the session that was on tap was out, but the Peach mule was outstanding. Keep up the good work!
Such a great place for a date having, dinner with the family, special occasion, a drink with the girls or grabbing a beer with the boys. Pub Thirty-Two is the best pub in Orange County. The flavors are always on point and the plating is something you wont want to disrupt when your food arrives. My wife and I have been here too many times to count. One week I am pretty sure we came on 5 separate occasions. Just couldn’t get enough!
I always recommend the specials if you like to wing it and trust the chef. They never disappoint!
Their Pub Hash that is offered up on Sunday Brunch is out of this world. We’ve recently tried the brunch and have gone back the last 2 weeks!
I cant speak highly enough. The owner truly takes pride in this restaurant and the food.. what are you waiting for?! Go!!!
It must have been our server's first day. He didn't know the answers to any of our simple questions regarding the beer/wine or food menu and had to go ask someone else each time. When I asked if they had Hefeweisen, he didn't know but did come back with two wheat ales for me to taste. When I showed him the one I preferred, he couldn't remember what he had brought me.
The house salad's "cider" dressing was all vinegar and there was too much of it, otherwise the salad had great ingredients. Lighten up or change the dressing and it would be good.
The fish and chips was TOO greasy.
Went on a Sunday evening, slow night. We sat on the back patio, it was warm out, so this was a nice option. We had the burger and fries - very tasty. The restaurant is very nice and I would definitely suggest it to a friend to try out. Love the concept wish more restaurants like this would open in South OC - seems like the large disgusting commercial crap does better (like Chili's, etc...) too bad. Anyway very cool spot, def. try it out.
Great pub food here and more. Seasonal menu - mushroom fries are a must (not on the menu at this time); burgers are killer, Fish and Chips excellent. I have been coming here for two years and have not had a bad meal yet. Service impeccable, cheerful and attentive. The owner is frequently present and is dedicated to a lovely dining experience. You cannot go wrong. This time out we had Noel's Burger and fries - literally cannot get your mouth around the large brioche bun - meat done exactly as ordered - just delicious.
The quality of the meals were not up to their normal
Standard. Typically it is great food but we ate around 530pm and almost every plate with the exception of the appetisers had an issue. Sad we like the people and the environment but this was a let down today.
Awesome! Food was fabulous. Authentic Irish fare with a twist. Best steak I've had in a long time. Attention to detail, friendly knowledgeable servers. Low key fun live music and nice bar area and patio seating. A gem. So nice to see something unique in our area!
Food is outstanding - bruschetta, lamb burger, a perfectly drawn pint of Guinness - topped off by raspberry fritters for dessert! Service is excellent - staff is attentive, friendly, helpful, and provides good advice on menu items. Outdoor patios are dog friendly and well fenced off if dogs aren't your style. HIGHLY recommend Pub 32 for all of this at a reasonable price for such fine food!
Great menu full of innovative dishes that are fresh takes on some of your favs. You can always count on them having a few dishes you've never heard of before - but are well worth trying without regret. We've gone for dinner several times and drinks with friends, but brunch here is always a good bet. And you can't beat the endless mimosas!
This was our third time to Pub 32 and we were not disappointed. The service was great. The bus boy John was funny and fabulous bringing my daughter a new fork instantly when she dropped it (twice!). Portobello fries and HUGE chicken drumsticks were our favorite apps. Try the Yeti beer.
Drink menu and bar are good. Was disappointed with the dishes we ordered. Fish and chips - breading was soggy and greasy, fish was not firm but mushy, chips were fresh and tasty but again soggy. Shishito peppers were good. English corn dogs were different using beer batter instead of corn meal but again the breeding was soggy and greasy.
I'm not a fan of places that state no substitutions permitted on the menu. Particularly when that place offers a fairly limited menu. We had the cauliflower which was excellent; brussels sprouts which were really good but then we both just had salads for entrées because we are trying to avoid gluten / starch and eat only meat & veggies and there wasn't any options that fit that bill.
I have been to Pub Thirty Two several times, the food is generally very good. Problem with this visit is we took out of town business associated here for brunch...problem no brunch menu. What we were offered was the happy hour menu. Not the best. Also, there is an expectation at a brunch that the restaurant would the lively, not so, could have shot a cannon thru there.
A return visit w friends. We had a lovely dinner here and truly enjoyed the new cauliflower appetizer. There are many yummy things to choose from, so we often order for that table and share all around. We had Brussels sprouts, fish and chips, steak stir fries and wings.
The menu changes up regularly and keeps us all wondering what will be up next
My Wife & I have visited Pub 32 at least a half dozen times now and every visit has been an excellent experience. From drooping by for Happy Hour to sitting in for fine dining. Most recently we made reservations for Valentine's Day. We expected a huge noisy crowd, but were pleasantly surprised to find a moderate crowd. We enjoyed a nice private table, were able to converse in a normal tone and our food was excellent! Christina, our server, was top notch. She made some excellent food recommendations when asked and had a light and uplifting personality. The proprietor, Diarmuid Noone, was at the door to greet us and gave personal thanks when we left. If only all dining experiences were this good! Thanks again Pub 32 for another great night!
The food and service is incredible for a neighborhood pub. We had the sea bass and beef filet. It was prepared and presented better than Mastro's. They have a good selection of wine but specialize in liquor and craft beers. We received an excellent meal for a moderate price.
The food was good, but overpriced. The atmosphere was very noisy. We were sitted by the bar. Most of the tables are near the bar. We learned, on our way out the door that there was quieter seating outside. Even though we ask for a "quiet" table, we were escorted to a table very near to ruckus patrons at the bar, by a clueless young man.
Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed. We arrived at 5:15pm, and by 6pm she had at least 6 tables to cover. She did her best to service our table, but the "manager" was not helpful. He was only interested in hearing about the food, and seemed unaware of her predicament.
If you like a loud Pub atmosphere, with good, overpriced food, this restaurant is for you.
