Amazing place! A true gastro gem in Salt Lake.
Great dinner, atmosphere was amazing - not too loud. Service was excellent. Will return for sure!
Always great food and service; a bit loud but tolerable.
We really enjoyed our food. We shared multiple small plates tapas style, Service was great and staff was exceptionally friendly. Will definitely be returning.
Service couldnt have been better! Thank you Jerad for a wonderful evening.
Make sure you try the Hamachi Crudo and the beef tenderloin! They are two of the best dishes I have ever had. Cant wait to come back and try more!
Everything was great!!! The food was really delicious! Our waitress was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu! We ordered a variety of different items, and were pleased with everything but the “beignets”. We have been to New Orleans, so we know what beignets taste like. So maybe go with the scones, we didn’t try them but I’m sure they will be better than the beignets. One thing that happened that I was really disappointed and offended by, was the chef opened the door for us because the lock was hard for the hostess to do, and he was so rude! We said,”Hi, good morning, thank you”! And he didn’t even acknowledge us at all. He acted very annoyed and rude. Which is interesting that he wouldn’t be nice to customers who keep him with a job! Other than that, the place is great!
The knowledgeable and attentive service and excellently prepared, gastonomically unique dishes were outstanding. However, it was disappointing that the on-line menu suggested the availability of a brussels sprouts dish which has been off the menu, per staff report, for three months. We were told that the restaurant has attempted on more than one occasion to have the menu updated on the OpenTable website, however this has not been done. Other than that glitch, which seemingly should be an easy fix, the evening was practically perfect and we were very well satisfied and plan to be returning customers.
We look forward to an updated menu prior to our next visit to Provisions.
Black cod was amazing, as was the tempura short rib. Service lagged a bit but server was knowledgeable about the menu
Service was attentive, yet understated. Our server, Jerad was informative, and accommodating. The food was excellent!
Provisions came highly recommended to us. They didn’t disappoint. The service was great, servers were very informative and helpful, the restaurant is adorable, and the food was DELICIOUS! You have to get the lemongrass shrimp and grits
Food ranged from below average to good for our party of 5. Prices were high for the quality/quantity. Service was average. Dined here for Easter Sunday brunch.
Easter brunch with our kids was great!
Great as always. Fantasic friendly service. We usually get a group of the small plates to share and sometimes a entrée to share for a group. We love this place an go regularly.
Wonderful food and service. We tried to arrive early because we have a 3 year old and the serving staff was super nice. Provisions has really maintained the quality of food and a friendly atmosphere since their opening. I look forward to going back.
Delicious and creative food. Complimented with outstanding service. Will be returning with family and friends very soon!
We were visiting in SLC and didn’t know much about this place. We had a great meal with the family. Very pleased. Everything was excellent.
Brunch here is always the best! Great food with an imagination.
The menu was excellent and had multiple choices and tastes for everyone. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different main courses ad each of enjoyed our choices. The ribs were outstanding. Caesar salad was delicious and love the Branzino. We would definitely return. The only negative is the acoustics. The restaurant was packed and it was very difficult to talk and hear each other across the table.
Service very good. Food delicious with many great sharing options.
My husband and I went to Provisions for our anniversary, and we were both pleasantly surprised. From the Happy Anniversary printed on our menus and the friendly staff, who also took the time to wish us Happy Anniversary, we felt very welcome. We were pretty hungry, so ordered 4 small plates and a large plate to share, and it was definitely enough food! The shrimp and grits was delicious, and we also really enjoyed the other dishes we ordered, including the crispy duck rolls, octopus special, and bao, although we felt the bao were not as good as the other dishes (both of us are spoiled and have had the bao in Taiwan). The pasta (large plate) was also delicious, especially the carrot puree that came with it...it was so sweet it almost tasted like it was candied. The drinks were also tasty (albeit weak...we are in Utah after all). All in all, it was a great meal and we would definitely return and recommend it to others!
We had an incredible waitress who suggested just the right things. I loved the octopus however there was not a lot of octopus for the amount of noodles. Love the mushroom toast. We will be in again!
Pasta was delicious and service (Page?) was perfect. I went back to have the pasta 2 nights in a row! I would not recommend toasted cauliflower (too salty). My only complaint is size of the pasta plate for the price so rated overall value of 4 instead of 5. How many times can you go out for pasta though and drop a couple pounds the next morning? That speaks to size of the plate! However, it has excellent flavors!
Great food and good cocktails.
Finally a Great dinner in SLC. I have been skiing in the mountains for so long and have had nothing but louzy dinners.
We availed ourselves of 6 small plates instead of the interesting large ones.
Grilled gem lettuce with dates and bacon (4 star)
Crispy duck springrolls (5 Star)
Roasted cauliflower (5 Star)
BBK Wok Ribs (4 Star)
Quail on grits (3 Star)
Lemongrass shrimp on glass noodles (5 star)
Thanks to page our server.
Decent but not exceptional wine list.
The brunch menu was very good with many options. The restaurant was very busy but the service was good.
Every menu item was delicious!! Our server was great and attentive.
The food was excellent. But we not filling enough. The portion size was small so with out ordering both a small and a large plate you will walk out hungry. We didn’t do that because we had a budget but wanted to try this place. Don’t plan on walking out for less the hundred dollars
Food was really good, very fresh and creative. The small plates offered a huge diversity of flavors and textures and I would highly recommend that you try 2-3 small plates in lieu of on eof the large plates. Will defititely go back next time I'm in SLC.
Clam curry dish was excellent. Subtle curry seasoning, not overwhelming like most curry dishes. Whole Branzino was excellent. Expensive wine list.
Great food and drinks. A little loud, but not in a distracting way. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dining here, and will absolutely return when we’re back in town.
It's wonderful when a restaurant maintains its focus year after year. I'm delighted that Provisions is doing just that. I don't understand why it's not busier than it is, since the food and service are excellent -- but in a selfish way I'm happy to get a reservation just a day ahead of time. Back to the focus. The food - small and large plates - are inventive (but not overwrought) and delicious. Most are easy for a table to share, although that's by no means necessary. The service is efficient yet relaxed. No stuffiness or snootiness here. The cocktails are marvelous. I especially recommend the mushroom steamed buns and the Aviation cocktail, which is no longer on the menu but can still be put together. If you enjoy Pallet and Copper Onion my guess is that you will equally appreciate Provisions.
A great evening with great friends. We've been to Provisions only once before but it won't be the last. Excellent food and wine choices, knowledgeable and friendly service without 'hovering', everything was perfect. Special mention to Niki, our server.
Best food we have had in SLC. Incredible service. Had the BBQ ribs app, spicy, sweet and delicious. The Roasted chicken and dumplings I am still dreaming about. Can't wait to go back.
The kitchen is so creative! Presentation, is as important as flavor. This place is the real deal. The small plates are diverse - something for everyone. Service feels euro-trained: They properly fill your water glass, present wine, the basics are solid. They take good care without fussing and they don't ask how is everything? Please! They know it is good. They left us to our conversation, but were attentive enough to move the courses along. This is a favorite special dinner place.
My hubby and I love Provisions! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, anytime, anyplace!!!
The food was surprisingly good as well as the service. Will go back.
We had a lovely, unhurried meal. The food was good. The only difficulty was that it was pretty noisy.
Outstanding. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area again in June!
Consistently good food and service. Attentive and friendly staff.
I can’t believe how things came together to create this superlative experience!!!
