It was so wonderful to eat out. We loved coming back to our favorite restaurant. Our amazing server Chelsi is ALWAYS incredible. She goes above and beyond ALWAYS. Thank you for always making our dining experience the best!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND (always starting with their steamed buns) 😊
Food is always fantastic!
Terrible service for the second time. The restaurant was not busy and it took soooooo long.
We also order food that was forgotten and two items were wrong. Not a great representation of this restaurant
Great service and delicious food , will be coming back
Absolutely love Provisions for Brunch. Awesome dishes.
I had a wonderful time here. The food was delicious, the patio was perfect, and the service was just fine. Would absolutely return.
Have always loved Provisions but I was nice to have so much space. Craft cocktails are some of the best in the city
Food is consistently good here. Service is fantastic!
The first day open was Mother’s Day, we sat on the patio and loved it. Food was a little slow to come out but everyone should have expected this given the circumstances and first day back!!
We had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious as was my Bloody Maria. We will eat here again!
Started with the sweet potatoes which were great but some were still too hard. The cod was excellent. The ribeye was flavorful and well seasoned. Nicely decorated.
Excellent Service. Excellent Food presentation.
Always great food and great service!
We had a lovely dinner at Provisions and our waiter James was excellent. The food was delicious and we were provided a gluten free option menu. My husband had the chowder which he absolutely loved-just the right amount of curry. My friend and I had the cod with parsnips 3 ways-the cod was excellent but a very small portion. The parsnip combination was perfect except the parsnip pieces were a little tough. We had the mussel appetizer along with the cauliflower-they were both well spiced and memorable. Overall we enjoyed Provisions very much and we will be back.
Provisions is DIVINE. The food is so impeccably made, and delicious. The price for the quality is shockingly great. This restaurant would easily cost hundreds for 2 in bigger cities. It's amazing.
Had reservation and was seated immediately. We were in middle of restaurant which could have caused high noise level. Friend had their burgers and fries, we had the schnitzel, quality of food was excellent. Service was great. The deserts were wonderful. Wine was a tad over priced.
Amazing menu! Super friendly staff! I went for the first time Saturday evening and was back the following Wednesday with my sweetheart. The food is expertly crafted and oh so decadent. We had the hamachi, the mussels, short ribs, cod, the gnocchi and the house sorbet. Our server was so friendly and attentive, and she was helping several large tables in addition to us. We will definitely be back! Oh, and make sure you make reservations, this place fills up fast because with that good of food and service, why wouldn’t it.
Service not up to a brunch demand. Were you missing some staff?
Our favorite restaurant in SLC. Come here every year during our annual ski vacation. Love the pork belly buns, BBQ ribs and crispy brussels sprouts. Good wine list, too.
This our second time in Provisions, this time was even better than the first one, we arrived almost no wait, very friendly and our table was ready. It's a really cozy place, the food was amazing and the service top level. This is a place to return for sure everytime we are in town!!!
Delicious, delicious, delicious! And the Bloody Mary wasn’t bad either! Mmmmmm
For the amount of hassle you go through when trying to get a table you could go to a dozen different restaurants within a five mile radius that are as good if not better. The food is decent. The service is decent. All around it’s a fine spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner but nothing about it is pulling me to visit again over somewhere else.
This has been a go to staple in Millcreek, but the experience the last couple visits has been steadily declining. It’s unfortunate.
First: replace your chipped plates and don’t advise a server to tell you they are so expensive you just reuse them. This isn’t a Denny’s. Otherwise lower your prices.
Advise: focus again on food and experience and don’t rest on your previous success. You’ll lose customers and it’s hard to get them back. Business 101 - it’s easier to keep an existing customer than attract new customers.
Excellent place to dine. Would certainly recommend to anyone.
the food was good, but it was expensive. for the price, i would have expected better service. i enjoy the experience of dining out, and strongly dislike when apps are served at the same time as entrees- this happened when we were there. it makes me feel rushed. plus then the entrees get cold! also once the food was served, no one checked back in. so while the food was good, for the price i would have expected much better service. this mismatch makes me very reluctant to go back or recommend to others.
We had the bursts small plate it was very good. The seafood chowder was really good but the tenderloin was dry and lukewarm. And the crispy potatoes were cold and not crispy. But the saffron sauce in the chowder was amazing.
We have loved Provisions the last two times we were there, which is why ew chose it for our Valentine/ anniversary date night. This time they must have had a specific Valentine's day menu which we were not aware of before we went. That would have been fine except it was much more limited and seemed to favor more expensive, highly specialized, small portions. We expected to spend a good deal more than we usually do on a dinner, but this just seemed like we would need to go way over the top to get a full meal that felt satisfying. We get that they are a fine dining, high-end gourmet restaurant and they have very unique dishes with amazing ingredients. Unfortunately, this time the description of the dishes on the menu was much more enticing and impressive than the dish itself. The food was good but not quite as amazing as what we have experienced in the past. We will most likely go back but both my wife and I agreed we will double check the menu first to make sure it includes the type of dishes we are hoping for.
Had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation, granted, it was Valentines Day, it appeared they were a bit overwhelmed early on, and it gravitated into the evening. We have dined at provisions previously, and we expected the high level of service we had before, not an inexperienced waif we were awarded for a server. We did not expect a dumbed down express menu either...all four participants expressed dismay on the return trip home. You flunked. Loved the combat boots the hostess was wearing, too.
Delicious food, vibrant environment. We'll definitely return!
Unreal! Amazing chef!
Great food, efficient and nice service. Evert time I come to SLC, I make reservations at Provisions!😊
First of all, we LOVE Provisions. brunch But... it's very irritating how long it takes to get a mimosa for brunch. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to get a mimosa when you order it when you sit down... along with the coffee that came way before. Another pet peeve is when you order something like pancakes and waffles, I shouldn't have to ask twice for syrup. Pancakes and waffles were both cold by time I got the second person to bring us some syrup. At $8 for 1 waffle, this should not happen. Period. Syrup and butter should arrive with the item they go with. Once the server leaves the table, there are just too many other distractions and they get forgotten. LOVE the "eggs in hell" and also love most everything else. I just hope that management makes it a bit of a priority to tell servers not to sit stuff at a table if it doesn't include everything that goes with it.
Provisions is a consistently good experience. Professional service, good food in a timely fashion, reasonable prices. I ordered the salmon special on 2/8. It was good but not memorable and a bit too salty for my taste. All other food was excellent.
Third visit and every aspect of our experience was fantastic. Noise level high but I suspect it’s something they are aware of. Visit anyway!
Great for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday.
Only complaint is the noise level, on Saturday was so noisy you could not carry on a conversation. This is the first time the noise level was this high.
Thefood was fabulous. The drinks were amazing and the staff was wonderful. We had their Asian pear, radicchio and endive salad and was one of the best salads my husband and I have ever had. Homemade pasta was delicious.
Food and service were amazing! Went for brunch and everyone at our table enjoyed their meal very much.
