Good location for pre-show dinner. Valet parking for three hours is covered with validation. Great value.
As for the dinner, we both enjoyed the healthy trout, accompanied by a good Chardonnay that was on their happy hour list.
The dessert of bananas, rum ice cream and toffee was a great finish.
Food was good but very small portions (Valentine's Day Menu) for price. Menu said that we would receive champagne toast but did not receive this.
The service was excellent. Our appetizers were tasty..my husband got the tortilla soup and watermelon salad and I got the downtown salad. Our entrees however were just about inedible. We both ordered the filet by recommendation of our server. It took about 30 minutes, was cold and 3/4 fat. The cauliflower patty the steak sat on had good flavor but both our steaks were terrible.
Menu looked to be appetizing however be serving size was incredibly small. I would advise against anyone taking a meal at this restaurant. Considerably overpriced for the slow service.
The menu is not extensive, which seems a good thing, as they kitchen can do a good job on each item. I like the variety of options, even with a menu that is not long.
The wine list is very good, and one can enjoy indoor or outdoor dining.
Everything we had was delicious, from the Sea Bass to the Cauliflower Steak. Highly recommend...
Very attentive service and fantastic food! A big thank you to the kitchen and service staff for an outstanding and memorable experience.
Was there before a performance at Herberger. We were dressed up. Some patrons were in jeans and even shorts. This is a classy place with an upscale menu. Think they should consider a dress code.
Great menu. Awesome food. Quiet. Excellent service. Close to a lot of cultural and sports attractions.
We had a wonderful meal and the service was great. I would recommend to those looking for something special downtown Phoenix.
First time diner at this restaurant. Staff was friendly, attentive and personable. We went for an early dinner pre-theatre. I did not care too much for the beer/cheese fondue appetizer. The bread they served with the appetizer was great, however I was not a fan of the particular cheese in the fondue. Our order consisted of the Trout and the Sea Bass. Both excellent choices. Drink pours from the bar were generous. I noticed an ample amount of seating outside and I will be back to take advantage another time.
Very nice restaurant. We really enjoyed the food, and the service was great
The overall experience was amazing. My girlfriend and I went for New Years Eve dinner and the food was perfect. Oliver was our server and took care of everything we needed. Great recommendations and great service.
We have eaten here before and have always enjoyed it, so we were comfortable reserving it for a dinner post-theater with friends on New Years Eve. They had a pre fixe menu, but were happy to let us order off the regular menu. We weren't hungry enough for the amount of food on the pre fixe. We were very happy with all of our selections. Our waiter and all staff were very attentive. The environment was not too noisy and was very conducive to conversation. The fondue appetizer was delicious, and I would recommend that. Two of us ordered the trout, and it was prepared perfectly, very good. One of us ordered the sea bass and was very pleased. My husband and I shared the rice pudding for dessert, which was quite a substantial portion, and I would say the pudding was fine, but will probably not order that again. All in all, a very good choice for dinner after a show in downtown Phoenix and will still recommend Province to others and will be returning.
I was disappointed with the lack of any side items on the current menu. I don't always want to eat a full meal and prefer just a couple of sides that can be shared.
Went to the bar later in the evening and the service in the bar seating area left much to be desired, which is very unusual for Province. At one point there were 4 people behind the bar but no one was waiting on the customers sitting at the tables.
I enjoyed the beef cheeks and urbano salad. Both were screaming flavorful delight. Wait staff was attentive. The only item that kept me from rating a perfect 5 Star - it was so cold inside the restaurant (I had a jacket on).
Good food, servers very friendly, close to the convention I was attending. Will go back
often come on theater night because it is so handy and the food is good. Like the free valet parking which is a real plus when choosing a restaurant.
On a Monday evening the restaurant was very slow. That didn't make the service any better.
Disappointed in the entrees both my wife and I had. My wife had overcooked chicken and I had scallops that were OK, but the rest of the accompaniments were very overcooked.
We did start with salmon cakes for an appetizer. These were very good.
Hard to recommend Province Urban Kitchen.
