It was a convenient restaurant if you are staying at the Westin. We had to wait a long time to be seated even though no one was even there! It did not seem well managed and servers seemed confused. During the diner outside an umbrella from the roof came very close to falling on us during the wind. Other than that scare, we enjoyed eating outside and the food was better than average.
They love trios.
The food was fine but the menu was very limited. The server was friendly but it took an abnormally long amount of time to get our food and drinks.
Food and service were great, but the ambiance left a lot to be desired.
Twelve of us sat outside on the patio. The brunch was delicious and the staff very gracious even though we made our reservation at the last minute.

We had a girl’s night out and this place was perfect! Great food, service and ambiance. It was everyone’s first time and we will definitely go back. And bonus... they have valet and give validation up to 3 hours.
Initially we had several people come check on us when we first got there, which on one hand seems like good service, but it was too much, like they weren't communicating or organized. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
The server served me a drink in a cracked glass! She failed to apologize now inquire if I was ok. She gave the impression that I might be in the wrong Place! At any rate I paid and still tipped!
Finally a quiet restaurant to have a conversation with very good food. Steak and appetizers were excellent.
Lonnie was our server and made the whole experience fun. The food was great as always.

Took some friends in for my birthday dinner. Have the vanilla beer and the elk off of the special menu. Everyone got something different and everyone loved their meal. The Birthday treat went around the table three times!!!
Great service. Great food. Perfect before a show at Herberger
We had a 6:30 dinner reservation before a concert 1/2 mile away. We were seated promptly and our waitress got our drink orders. After placing our dinner orders 3 appetizers and 6 salads we waited. We inquired twice as to where our food was and after 1-1/2 hour later we had to leave as our concert was starting at 8pm. At that point the waitress brought out 2 appetizers but we had to leave as we were already late for the concert. When we asked the second time if our food was coming soon that we had to get to the concert she said that everyone else in the restaurant was going too. The restaurant was only have full. We did not have any hot food just appetizers and salads and we were not sure why this could not come out in a timely manner.
The waitress was friendly but there did not seem to be any manager’s to help.
The food was good. The service was fair, not the type of service expected at a high-end restaurant.
Everything was perfect for our special night out. The menu is limited to a few items but everything we had was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef!
I ordered the elk tenderloin and asked for medium rare. it came over cooked (very well done). was tempted to send it back, but didn't want to make a fuss.
The server was nice but too busy and our service was very slow.
Although a hotel bar, food and service was great. Meatballs and the watermelon salad were amazing.

It's pricey but totally worth it. We went pre-theater and will return. Tyler, our server, was top-notch, never smothering but anticipated all our needs. She even arranged for us to pick up our leftovers from the bartender hours later, after the show was out. We shared a Downtown salad that was almost too much split in half, but delicious (enough marcona almonds, alone, to make the price a bargain). Entrees were the petite filet, done exactly as ordered (medium rare) and pork three ways, pretty close to a perfect dish. (Loved the tiny braised radishes; the pork belly was sinful and the pulled pork fabulous.) Again, portions of the pork were so generous, we brought home enough for a second meal. Good wines by the glass aren't inexpensive, but the pour was respectable and both selections were worthy of a second glass. A shout-out to the FREE 3-hour Westin valet parking arrangement, a real godsend in downtown Phoenix.
The food was delicious and the service was good, but it's a little pricey (around $25+ for entrees). It was quiet and not crowded when we went on a Friday around 7pm so it was a great choice for dinner and a conversation.

Service wasn't the best, even though the server was extremely cordial. We did receive updates on the status but the wait was quite long considering the number of people in the restaurant. Food was good.

Prompt seating in a pleasant open space. The service was excellent and we were offered happy hour at out table. The food was excellent and I had the pork 3 ways and was served a generous portion. My wife had trout and was equally satisfied.
We had a great time eating at Province prior to a concert at a nearby venue. The restaurant is modern and has a great urban feel with diners and bar patrons combining for a good energy level. The food was delicious and the executive chef came out to get our reactions. I highly recommend this for dinner or drinks.
The roasted cauliflower steak and the salad were delicious. Unfortunately, the service was slow and inattentive. We asked for an appetizer before our meal and it came with the meal. We asked for olive oil instead of butter and received two plates of butter. The manager apologized for the service so we will try it again because the food was so tasty.
The overall experience here was very good. The valet staff was very friendly when we pulled up in front of the Westin and good feelings continued into the restaurant where the service was excellent. We chose the Christmas dinner and the found the salads and soup to be top notch. The prime rib was a bit tough and it did not seem to be a top quality cut as there was some very tough cutting ahead of us. Few of the pieces we had could have been considered tender and we know it should have been better.
Disappointing! We had a group of 8 diners and came into a nearly empty restaurant, which was fine for noise level. It took quite awhile for waitress to attend to us and take orders and then we waited for almost an hour to be served. I ordered a watermelon/feta salad. There were about 8 chunks of not-so-fresh watermelon, a few tiny crumbles of cheese and some pistachios. $10 or $11! Other diners at our table summarized food as “meh”.
When we finished dining, it again took a very long time for waitress to come back to table so that we could get our checks.
I expected much more from a Westin property.
Stopped in to have dinner before seeing a concert. Tried something new on the menu and it was awesome as usual. Try to drink that my buddy had the last time we were there and it was also very good. If you’re in downtown Phoenix this is one of the neighborhood hotspots.
Dined with family prior to downtown event. Good location and food - will return for evening meal.
Took 30+ minutes just to get drinks, nice waiter but rude manager
So we had a reservation at 7:30 which was fine we were seated. Order scallops and my husband ordered a steak. It took approximately 1 hour to get our food, I can somewhat understand this if the restaurant was packed but it was not. Our food came and my scallops were luke warm. I notified our server and I think the manager came over and took them back to the kitchen. To give credit to the manager he brought me a salad, gave us a round of drinks and comp my meal.
Very friendly and competent management and servers.
My cousin and I ordered a steak and it took over an hour it was not busy at all. She did comp the steak but I had a craving for it and waiting for over an hour is just ridiculous when it’s not busy.
We chose Province for a pre-show dinner because it was close and had a reservation available. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away. They were very efficient about serving us drinks and taking our dinner order and that’s where it fell apart. The restaurant was quite full and it seemed like many of the other patrons were probably attending the same show. After waiting about an hour we began to worry about our order and flagged down the waitress. She claimed that the kitchen staff were mostly new and that everything was backed up. I wish that had been communicated sooner. About ten minutes later the manager was called to the table next to us because they were in the same dilemma, and we grabbed him as well because at that point we needed to leave. He apologized and comped us our drinks and we left. I was hungry, and the menu seemed quite appealing, but I will probably never find out as I am unlikely to return.
Moral: They shouldn’t be taking reservations if they can’t fulfill them, and they should have communicated their problems earlier.
We got in and were seated at 5:40 and after begging waitress and manager we got our dinner at 7. our original waiter Joe greeted us and gave us water and was never to be seen anywhere after. Need new management.
