I had a group of ladies for lunch on Thursday March 12. The wait staff both "busboys", and our server were excellent. Wonderful service, patience explaining the different menu choices and all around going out of their way to accommodate us. I would definitely go again and hopefully next year when our group gets together again we will make it a point to eat at Province.
Nice spot downtown for a business lunch. Good food, service, and ambience.
We were at a mining trade show in Phoenix. A manager and his wife wanted to join me for a social dinner. They had an early morning flight, so I asked if they just wanted to come over to my hotel, the Downtown Westin. It ended up being a very nice meal with good wine. I appreciated the fact that our waiter allowed us to talk and catch up without being rushed to place our order or pay our check once we were finished with dinner. It was a very relaxed and comfortable evening.
Couldn’t have been a better experience!!! Food and service was amazing they even did something special for my daughter since it was her Birthday. We will definitely be back with more people
picked a bad night. had only a limited menu. Filet was very, very small. Salmon was good.
Received three different phone calls to confirm the reservation (and had to call them back with all three). Pretty irritating considering it was maybe half full the night we were there. Service was great, and some of the food was good (they rest just ok). Scallops I had were really stringy and chewy. In terms of ambience, the lighting is way too bright in there.
The wait was too long. My reservation was 7pm. Did get our food not until 8:30
We had a reservation, but apparently had to confirm it by responding to a phone message that was left on our home phone. Since we were traveling, we didn't get the message. I assume that explains the chilly reception we received and the awful table next to the outside door on a chilly evening. The service was otherwise excellent, but I don't plan on returning any time in the future.
The food was tasty, though perhaps some of the dishes were trying too hard to find unique combinations. Overall, the plates were beautifully decorated but a bit sparse in portions. There was a good selection of drinks and had good wine to complement the food.
Nothing special about the food or place. It’s a hotel restaurant with upscale pricing and ok food.
One of my favorite spots downtown, especially for business. Quiet, classy, healthy and delicious! Valet parking is particularly helpful. Easy access to ASU.
Menu was light on food choices, prices were high and food mediocre.
Province Kitchen has a limited but very good menu. I had the Cobb salad, and it was delicious, as usual. My associate had the Cuban sandwich, which he pronounced as good enough for a return visit. The server was excellent, and service was not obtrusive but available. For a business lunch, this is a very good choice, but it can be crowded and a little noisy occasionally.
Great spot for good food and friendly service in a downtown hotel close to symphony hall
I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't busier because they have delicious food and good service, and the price is fine for a downtown restaurant. The outside area is very nice too. Great cocktails and adult beverages also!
Too bright lights, too slow service, but good food.
Excellent service, tailored menu to meet a variety of palettes. Yummy and flavorful. I had the tofu kabobs which were perfectly seasoned with variety that kept the taste buds happy.
Food was slow and overpriced. Place has no atmosphere. Wouldn’t have went if it wasn’t highly rated on google. A mistake in my opinion. Will not be back, do not recommend.
I’m usually leery of hotel restaurants but we had an excellent meal. Delicious craft cocktail, fondue to share and well prepared entrees. Our party especially enjoyed the “pork three ways” and the scallops. The strawberry tres leches dessert was done well, beautifully presented and light.
The food was fabulous except that the dessert, a chocolate, hazelnut tart and caramel sauce needed to be warmed up but the taste was delicious and the staff was very gracious about giving my friend a different dessert.
Great service. The breakfast was well prepared. Excellent food, amazing place
We went to this restaurant through Open Table’s app. We were headed to the Phil Collins concert. We were pleasantly surprised by our entire experience. Food, location, service and patio were all great! Walked to the Talking Stick Arena on a nice fall evening. Would recommend this place for any occasion. Sit on the Patio. Rachel was our waitress-she was great! Told us her favorites, which we ordered! Yum!!!
Looking for a quiet place to eat before Concert at Arena. Waitress was polite. Food was served quickly and delicious.
The staff took a while to take our order, and then we ended up having to practically walk out of the restaurant to get someone to take our check. The receipt was in the wrong format, so they had to run it again. Overall, a great restaurant, but short-staffed.
The food was sub par at best. We've certainly had better at home. Biscuits were horribly dry with practically no gravy & red onions on everything without being informed by the staff or on the menu. (I'm allergic)
Birthday dinner before concert. Great meal!! Province is one of my favorite spots downtown. Thanks to Lisa, Oliver and team for the incredible start to the evening.
Wonderful service and food❣️❣️
We sat at the bar. Nick makes outstanding martinis.
My colleagues and I had a really great time and enjoyed some awesome food. Definitely recommend.
I had cauliflower steak. My husband had the meatball appetizer and the swordfish cake appetizer. Great flavors on all. Table was very small and very close to our neighbor. Ended up being fine as we talked to them throughout, but if we had wanted privacy, there was none.
Great food, unfortunately overwhelmed by a completely inattentive staff that had to be asked to wait on us after 15 minutes of sitting down, and an unmanaged overflow of bar patrons flooding into our seating area of the (supposed) dining room. If you like your great food complemented with loud uninvited people standing around your table with their butts in your face this is the place for you.
Our meal was excellent...stand outs: Watermelon Salad and the Swordfish Steak...easily one of the most beautifully plated meals ever...loved it...a nice meal before Sir Paul!
Delicious food. Amazing staff. Already recommended to others.
One of my new favorite places to dine. I was so impressed that I immediately started contacting friends to tell them about the new treasure I found
Just a really nice place to have dinner. Gentle activity all over the restaurant: friends meeting friends, some business people doing business, a family. GREAT draft beer selection, bartender who knows his stuff, friendly efficient wait staff, menu with interesting—delicious—choices. We'll be back! Soon!
We went a little early in the evening so I anticipated better & faster service. It seems like the staff in general was distracted and I believe it caused a couple problems with our drink and food orders
Food was fantastic.
Very quiet, good for conversation. Food was excellent.
It was a convenient restaurant if you are staying at the Westin. We had to wait a long time to be seated even though no one was even there! It did not seem well managed and servers seemed confused. During the diner outside an umbrella from the roof came very close to falling on us during the wind. Other than that scare, we enjoyed eating outside and the food was better than average.
They love trios.
The food was fine but the menu was very limited. The server was friendly but it took an abnormally long amount of time to get our food and drinks.
