Great view by the water in a excellent location by the sea wall.
It was beautiful and delicious as usual!
Great location when the heaters are on and we’re on the patio. Love the food
Once again, Provence Marinaside was an absolutely fabulous dinning experience.
The food was cooked to perfection. The flavours were almost indescribably heavenly. The ambiance and view relaxingly beautiful
Our server, Walter, was an absolute delight. His suggestions and the way he made us feel like old friends was a major part of an excellent date night . I can’t say enough good about the evening
THANKS to all at Provence Marinaside.v
Beautiful open air setting with views of the marina. Excellent service from front of house to table side. The atmosphere was lively with the ability to talk without having to shout.
Good wine list. Plenty of menu choices including vegetarian options and seasonal specials (lobster) with wine pairing. Bouillabaisse and the lamb were excellent. We did not have dessert but the options looked yummy.
As always the food has great flavor, was well presented and served with a smile.
A very enjoyable experience. The trio of fish was done perfectly, and the prawn and scallop pasta was very good.
Our server was very engaged and knowledgeable.
We will return
The Maître D was very friendly and found a nice table for our Birthday celebration. The food was delicious.
View and atmosphere excellent. Food a bit overpriced but tasted good.
Location terrific, service not bad, food was excellent. Met our expectations would go back.
Our food took 35+ mins to make, and we hadn’t ordered anything that we were warned would take longer than average. When the food came, there was no acknowledgement that it took a long time nor apology. Our server switched part way through our shift which we were not told and we were not checked on for that entire duration. We kept looking around for our server to request the heater be turned on but we couldn’t find her. When we finally got our food it was fine, but nothing to rave about and definitely not worth the wait. Probably won’t be back for a while as there’s lots of comparable restaurants that we’ve had a better experience at.
The Lois Lake Steehead was done to perfection. Mussels always a good bet esp with lovely baguette. Never disappointed with their wine list which the waiters know very well.
So happy to be able to eat there again.
First class as usual! Great wine list and excellent food.
The anticipation for Provence was high with it being Marinaside but to say it sunk our expectations is an understatement. The food was bland and boring and lacked any creativity. The best thing we had was the wine.
I told the restaurant it was a birthday but nothing was offered or mentioned.
One main was clearly forgotten, no apology. The seafood in that pasta then came out raw and inedible. Removed from the bill but with barely an apology. Everything else was decent but not worthwhile.
Provence always provides exceptional service, food and wine.
Their current lobster 2 course option with wine pairings was outstanding.
I may have just found a new favourite Chardonnay!
And if you’re lucky enough to sit in Walter’s section, you will be well taken care of.
Wonderful service, delicious food, amazing view.
Excellent place, prompt and personal service. Always a pleasure and the reason we keep going back.
Beautiful patio with a view! Food was amazing!!! Music was excellent! Very friendly service! Would definitely come back!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Our server was delightful and the food and wine were excellent and good value. Would not hesitate to recommend.
The service was excellent. Our server knew exactly when to come by and when to leave us alone!
The food was fabulous and the ability to get a wide variety of wine by the glass is definitely a plus‼️
Overall an excellent experience 👍🏻‼️
Excellent service! Best spot in Vancouver for wine lovers. Appetizer was good, but for the price, there should have been more. Entree was incredible! Also has a great view.
Found that the flower pot I was sitting next to on the patio was falling into my seat a bit much. I’m quite tall and broad, so my head and shoulders were literally grazing the flowers Music inside was a bit loud, so I automatically pushed for outside. The volume seemed “off-brand” for a restaurant like this.
Service was great; very nice touch by server who arrived with my date’s wine just after she arrived; and food was amazing as always.
Absolutely spectacular. First fine dining in 16 months and no disappointments. We had a lovely time and the food was fantastic. Thanks also to Josh for taking such good care of us.
We were able to eat on the patio in the shade, just as we were hoping. The service was prompt, friendly and efficient.
It was our 10 yr anniversary which the hostess mentioned as we were seated, our waiter who we have had before has no personality, borders on rude and just didn't make our occasion special in any way.
The service, ambience and food are always exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the glorious meal with family.
Poor section of seating for us… even though we had made reservation. Staff not helpful at all…did not stay.
Enjoyable evening meal. Food was well presented and tasteful. Servers were efficient and attentive without being intrusive.
A bit pricy for a dinner. But maybe worth it for special occasions
An excellent night out at Provence Marinaside. Great setting, a bit noisy but fun. The food is excellent. Try the Mushroom Ravioli, trust me. Highly recommended. We will be back!
Panini fresh but long on bread and short on filling. Salad uninspired. Lovely setting and pleasant serving staff.
Service was excellent, loved the ambience and food was good . Green salad was boring and could have some other raw vegetables or cheese added.
We were left unattended mid-meal for about 30 minutes, which was unfortunate. We had a bottle of wine open which could have been served, or drinks offered. The food was great - but our server was new and inexperienced. Oh well. Would not hurry back.
Overpriced, uninspired, dated. Disappointed in this very average dining experience. For the price there are way better restaurants out there.
Why go to Nice when you have it right here. Exelent
The bouillabaisse was tasteless, the fish overcooked and therefore overpriced. The music was loud and obnoxious.
The service, while efficient was impersonal. I left hungry and unhappy..
It was lovely to have a little soft live music. As always the service was top notch. It was extra special as the spot-prawn menu was happening so we were able to switch things up from their regular menu (and the spot prawns were perfectly cooked!)
Hello, Thank you so much for sharing your kind comments with us. We love spot prawn season and are so glad you enjoyed your meals. We look forward to having you with us again soon. Kind regards, Lisa
Great food, quiet location around the corner in the new patio area, and it was lovely to be able to order wine by the ounce. The problem was the lack of physical distancing by the waitress. She said that was OK since she wore a mask, but it is a cloth mask, unclear how effective, and she needed to stand farther away and spend as little time at the table as possible. She encourage us to keep our masks off, which is inappropriate. People must do what they are comfortable with She opened and placed our cutlery on the plates, thus potentially spreading virus. Otherwise, it was fine, although the tables around the corner are too quiet, and we could not hear the live music playing at the front. Good baguette.
Hello, Thank you for your recent visit and for sharing your comments with us. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your meals and the patio setting even if it is quiet. We apologise for your servers familiarity and inappropriate behaviour. We will definitely have a word with her soon. Please email me at email@example.com if you would like to add anything further. We hope to have you with us again soon. Kind regards, Lisa
