My daughter and I had the Friday haddock fish dinner. The fish had a strong ammonia odor. We were with other family members celebrating a birthday and did not want to ruin the evening . I will not go back to eat there. In addition, the place was not very busy and it took about 45 minutes for our food to arrive (party of 7).

The staff was very welcoming especially considering that my OpenTable reservation somehow never reached them. They seated me and my guests anyway even with a large Mother's Day crowd. Our waitress was very attentive in spite of the fact that there were so many people there for Mother's Day brunch. The food choices were numerous & delicious. Great place to eat

The food and service was good. We went for Mother's Day and the some food items were not replenished very often if at all. The presentation of the pudding cups was haphazard causing some inappropriate comments.

The Protocol is one of those quiet gem of Buffalo. First, the seafood is absolutely first rate. The Oysters are the best! The Horseradish Crusted Salmon is by far the most amazing dish.

Wine Inventory is excellent and the staff are well trained.

Makes for an incredible dining experience.

I was disappointed as we were treated with attitude that we were late. Our reservations were at 10:15 and it was mentioned it was at 10 am. Buffet style was fine. Food was good. Service was great.

My wife & I were celebrating her birthday and it couldn't have been a better evening. Wonderful service & drinks at the bar to start off, then Paul gave a nice table where we were able to converse in private. Food was outstanding as was the service, especially when Paul surprised my wife with a candle lit cupcake for her birthday. Everything was superb and more affordable than I expected. Thank you Paul for a memorable evening.

Not too happy with my experience. Had a reservation at 7:45PM. Didn't get seated for an hour and a half. Didn't get our food until 10:20. They ran out of steak and also risotto. Waitress was nice but seating and food took way too long. Very disappointed.

We were greeted by a host and he was rude to the party in front of us and us. We had a reservation for 6, at 630 we still were not seated and there were plenty of people in front of us that had reservations (we talked to another couple) and they hadn't been seated yet. We ended up leaving and heading to a different restaurant. They should strongly consider hiring a different host as the gentleman was anything but friendly... especially for a first impression

I made dinner reservations during restaurant week and the restaurant was busy as is to be expected during restaurant week. We waited for almost an hour to be seated and another 30 minutes or so to place our order. We received our apps/soup, but realized after an hour into waiting for our entrees that another table that was seated 45 minutes before us were still waiting for their meal. We had an event to attend so we had to leave without receiving our entrees. Very disappointed with the wait time. Not to mention, the host who we checked in with upon arriving was very rude, turns out he is the owner.
