Proof at The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale Ratings and Reviews
Love this place...the decor is fun and eclectic, when the weather is good, the doors are open and the outside dining is amazing. Views are wonderful when outside. The food is always good, the service attentive and spot on. Great place for families, too. You will not be disappointed eating here ever!
Could not ask for a better evening. The location we had outside in the patio overlooking the dessert was spectacular. Giovani, our server, painted the most vivid picture of each dish he brought and had great stories to share. Extremely helpful with the dessert and cocktail dishes.
Casual atmosphere, food was well prepared with nice presentation, not pretentious, bottle wine list $$$--stick with beer or house wines, service friendly and attentive. A comfortable place to meet with friends, enjoy upscale comfort food, and wear blue jeans
First time to try Proof. Having eaten at Talavera many times, we looked forward to a more casual but memorable week night dinner with friends.
Turns out it is pretty much a place for hotel guest - especially families - which is fine but don't expect anything else. Pretzel bites from starter menu were the best thing ordered. The Cobb salad was very ordinary (greens a bit brown) , the Chicken fried portabella lacked flavor and was an appetizer portion - not dinner size. I had the short rib which was just fair - had a pre-made and reheat taste - bad stomach ache that night . Our server did take off one of our entrees after our guests shared their disappointment with portabella dish. Over all the experience most disappointing - will not return.
I had a long standing reservation for about a month. We were offered a table inside. I definitely did not want a table inside as I had thought that I had specified I wanted to be seated on the patio upon the initial reservation. At least that was my expectation. Therefore, the hostesses (about three of them) were busy accommodating walk in's requesting tables, eventually got around to me and agreed to sit us outside but at a large table and not in a prime location. It was disappointing that we could not sit where we had expected to be seated upon making the original reservation. I could not help but think that all the people who were seated at great tables with good views were walk ins. There were a couple of tables with reservation signs on them that were empty for quite awhile. I kept admiring them and wished that we were the lucky ones sitting there. The food was well prepared, there was not much of it on the little plate but by the last bite I was full. When the dessert came, it was kind of plopped down in front of us. Too rich and too sweet for us. We felt ignored during dinner, not by our waiter just the overall experience as it we did not matter. Our first experience a few years ago was much better.
