Nice Thanksgiving Buffet.. Don’t miss it next year. Shrimp, ham, very tender turkey, prime rib, salads, fruits, deserts...
I went for Easter lunch. The food was okay but not worth the $50+ per person. We spent 2 hours there and then went out to get my valet parked car. After spending $100+ for two people they charged me $18 to park. It was a rip off. I would not recommend this place at all.
Disappointed. I have been to more fancy hotel brunches than I care to admit. This one had such lovely reviews and I had high hopes but it fell flat. The variety of the dishes was mediocre at best. Plenty of meat, cheese and bread. Good if that's all you want, but we go out for more than we can get at home! Isn't here something more to offer than yet another omelette station? Vegetable dishes were heavily laden with sauces and those without undercooked. The salad bar had more dressings than salads. Really uninspired desserts and what appeared to be store bought mini muffins. Quite a shame for what we hoped would be a special Easter brunch.
The service was the only star of the day. Friendly staff and eager to please.
Great breakfast buffet!
Table of 8 for Thanksgiving lunch, so we knew it would be a hectic environment, yet the lines to the buffet stations were relatively fast and orderly, and the food never ran out. The food was well-prepared and tasty, everyone enjoyed their meals.
This was for Thanksgiving our get together we have tried other buffet's. This one is the best one we have found. The cost is a bit more than the other two places we been to but the food an selection is far better. My favorite is the sea food section of the buffet.
I booked a reservation for Mother's Day and the ambiance was beautiful and the food selection was superb. I would definitely book this again!
We ate here for Mother's Day brunch. The food was good, with a very large selection of both breakfast and lunch items including omelets, prime rib, oysters, shrimp, duck, pork tenderloin, redfish and numerous sides, salads, breads and great deserts. I would recommend it for a special occasion. But, you should know that it is very expensive. For a family of 7, I paid $521. Also, you will have to pay valet to park, at $15. So, while it was very enjoyable, you need to be prepared to spend a lot of money!!! I wouldn't recommend it for an average family on a tight budget!!
Definitely the best Brunch of the Galleria area. I have been to the past three holiday brunches and none have disappointed. Food is delicious and well balanced with great variety, service is top notch and great atmosphere for the entire family. Will be back again for the next one in May. I definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Due to renovation only valet parking, but that pretty much is the standard anywhere in the Galleria.
My mom thought this was the best place she had ever eaten. She is 85 and really thought it was a treat. :-)
WE WENT TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL BUFFET FOR THANKSGIVING AND SERVICE AT HILTON WAS BY FAR MUCH BETTER. WAIT STAFF WENT OUT OF THERE WAY TO MAKE THE DAY VERY ENJOYABLE.
While most restaurants were closed and those others that were open had prefix, expensive menu options, the Promenade offered a comprehensive brunch buffet that was abundant, tasty, and reasonably priced. The table service was the best I have ever experienced for a brunch. Wish they had this every weekend.
We tried the Christmas brunch this year and were completely satisfied with the food and the service. The various food stations were dispersed in various rooms/locations yet easy to access and never crowded. Lastly, the price was reasonable. We will consider returning next year for either the Thanksgiving or Christmas brunch
> Buffet set up was great, easy to access
> Wait staff efficient and attentive in a professional manner
> Favorites: Cerviche ,sweet potatoes, dessert bar and of course...the Mimosas
> Reservation was ready upon our arrival
> Our table was in an ideal location
THE ROOM FELT LIKE AN A BASKET COURT WITH CARPET. NO MUSIC. DECORATIONS WERE
A FEW GREEN AND RED LIGHTS POINTED AT THE CEILING. IT WAS QUITE. CHAIRS WERE
THE TYPICAL CHAIRS. OUR TABLE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN 36" IN DIAMETER. SERVICE
IS BY A BUNCH OF FOREIGNERS THAT ARE OLD AND PROBABLY WORKING FOR MINIMUM
WAGE. THREE WAITERS CLAIMED TO BE OUR WAITER FOR OUR SPECIFIC TABLE. IT WAS
BORING AND REMINDED ME OF A PARENT TEACHER FUNCTION RATHER THAN A
CHRISTMAS LUNCH IN WHICH I WAS TO PAY $150.00. FOOD WAS FAIRLY GOOD. BUT WITH
THE LACK OF EVERYTHING ELSE, IT WAS LIKE EATING IN A BASKETBALL COURT.
I booked through Open Table but the restaurant manager phoned to confirm our booking, which was a nice touch. My husband and I really enjoyed the buffet rather than a sit down lunch. Allowed us to try so many different things! Food was excellent and servers very friendly, unlimited Mimosas were included which made the whole brunch excellent value.
We arrived on the hour of our reservation, but we're not attended by our waiter for more than ten minutes...after Edison arrived at the table, we were well taken care of. The Buffet afforded carnivores and veggies alike...every one had a satisfying meal...unlike last year when Cadillac Bar ran out of Turkey,Dressing, and Gravy before 2:00pm. So good, will consider for next year...Fun to watch the preparations for the Post Oak Tree Lighting from our table...Definately recommend.
Celebrated with my wife and kids and had a wonderful experience. Amazing variety of food and desserts. Service was excellent. Live entertainment as well which set a very nice tone to the experience. Definitely recommend for future Brunches (I believe that they already are taking reservations for Xmas day).
The Thanksgiving brunch was amazing. Grow a variety of food and desserts. There was also live music. Staff was courteous and efficient.
This was reservation for four it was our first time here for Thanksgiving brunch. We all agreed to return for our Holiday brunch everything was delish.
