Roka Akor Oak Brook features an extensive menu of inventive Japanese dishes centered around its all-important central robata grill. The robata technique originates from the fishermen off the northern coastal waters of Japan who made a practice of cooking their fresh fish on the shores and sharing the bounty with each other. This communal history resonates in the name ROKA which is derived from two words: RO and KA. The meaning of the first word is hearth, a gathering place where people socialize and take in the ambience; the latter stands for a burning fire and projecting energy. Please note that any party of 9 or more is required to go through our Event Coordinators and must be booked with a contract.

Located in our Roka Lounge, this private room can accommodate up to 14 seated. The room has a retractable glass wall that can be closed with blinds for complete privacy. The retractable wall can be opened, and accommodate more guests for a standing reception with heavy passed appetizers, maki stations and cocktails. A great space for a more casual dining option.

Known as our main private dining room, this room can accommodate up to 20 guests seated. Features are a retractable glass wall that opens to our main dining room, blinds for complete privacy and a flat screen TV that is HDMI compliant. The set up would be one long table, banquette seating on one side and dining room chairs on the other. Please note there is no room to cocktail or mingle before being seated for dinner.
