The Walnut Room
1000 Standing | 630 Seated
Steeped in tradition and known as one of Chicago’s most popular landmarks, The Walnut Room is an elegant venue ideal for cocktail parties up to 1000 guests and seated meals for up to 630. It is great for wedding receptions, galas and seated luncheons or dinners.
The Narcissus Room
650 Standing | 450 Seated
This unique space is a perfect venue to host a variety of meetings, holiday or celebratory events. It features a working historic marble fountain and features built in audio capabilities. The Narcissus Rooms’ 9200 square feet comfortably accommodates up to 650 guests for a cocktail reception or 450 for a seated function.
The Event Center
800 Standing | 550 Seated
Located on the 9th floor, this event space is a great venue to host any large meeting or event. It features over 9400 square feet. The Event Center is an ideal choice when you want to transform a raw space into your creative vision. It will accommodate up to 800 for a reception and 550 for a seated event. Multiple spaces adjacent to the Event Center are available for even larger galas and receptions.

This spectacular space has a modern sophistication and can comfortably accommodate groups of 100 to 1000 guests. Featuring contemporary décor with stainless steel and granite accents, Seven on State provides a captivating view of downtown Chicago and a dramatic view of our historic floor to ceiling atrium.
Macy's Culinary Studio
125 Standing | 70 Seated
Imagine your event held in a state of the art kitchen that accommodates up to 125 guests. Our Culinary Studio and talented chefs create team building cooking experiences, competitive cook-offs and sophisticated private dinners for 10 to 70 guests. The 4200 square foot Culinary Studio at Macy’s on State Street is home to Macy’s Culinary Council. Experience state of the art equipment and enjoy learning how to cook like a professional while having a great time and a delicious meal!
