From our beautiful Wine Room to our stunning Terrace Room, Old Hickory is the perfect venue for any occasion from Birthdays, Anniversaries, Convention dinners to Board Meetings. Old Hickory at Gaylord National offers the utmost in Private Dining services. Old Hickory can accommodate semi private and private room needs throughout the year. Old Hickory is designed into four dining rooms which invite parties of 10 to 200.

The Wine Room
25 Standing | 24 Seated
Known as Old Hickory’s “hidden gem”, the Wine Room offers an intimate setting for a celebratory gathering, board meeting, or rehearsal dinner. Our dramatic floor-to-ceiling wine display is the focal point as guests enter, and wine remains the theme throughout the room. Soft lighting and warm, rich colors ensure a pleasant experience. The room may be reconfigured for conference style seating, and can be set for three tables of eight.

Cheese Room
50 Standing | 40 Seated
Neighboring the restaurant’s bar and lounge, this room houses our infamous Cheese Cave where artisanal cheeses are aged and selected by our Maitre d’Fromage. The Cheese Room’s welcoming environment is perfect for a seated dinner or reception.

Rachel Jackson Room
70 Standing | 55 Seated
Adjacent to the Terrace Room, the Rachel Jackson Room provides a stunning view of the hotel’s soaring glass Atrium.

Terrace Room
200 Standing | 100 Seated
While dining in the Terrace Room, guests will enjoy gorgeous views of the Potomac River and Old Town Alexandria. The outdoor Terrace will be exclusively available for your group to enjoy after-dinner cordials.
