L'Auberge Chez Francois

Opened in Washington in 1954 and relocated to Great Falls, Virginia in 1976, L'Auberge Chez François offers guests a sense of Old World tradition: courtly service, cozy environment and delicious food prepared with a classical French sensibility. With three dining rooms, a Garden Terrace, and a new casual Brasserie, guests are treated to memories of the original restaurant downtown, decorated with antiques from Alsace, including several Grandfather clocks, oil paintings, chandeliers made from old grapevines, hand-painted china and artfully decorated tablecloths. A favorite of locals as well as international travelers for over 60 years, L'Auberge Chez François can customize your event to match whatever the occasion. Chef Jacques also will share his passion for classic and contemporary French cuisine by teaching expert cooking techniques and tricks of the trade at private entertaining cooking demonstrations, with wine pairings.
