Murphy's is available for private dining and offers five unique spaces. The Atrium, Murphy Room, Patio, and Wine Bar. Our acclaimed chefs and wine sommeliers will assist you with developing your perfect dinner from a seasonally-inspired menu and an extensive list of adventurous wines. The main dining room is subdivided into 5 unique and cozy spaces that can accommodate a total of 170 seated and 300 standing. Each subdivided space can be booked as a semi-private event, or the entire dining room can be booked as a restaurant buy-out. Murphy's is centrally located in the beautiful and historic Virginia Highland neighborhood and in close proximity to Midtown, Emory University, Georgia Tech and downtown Atlanta. Our Atrium is our most popular space. This area has beautiful french doors with sights of the beautiful neighborhood setting of Virginia Highland. These doors can be opened when the weather is pleasant as a nice added value. This Room is perfect for rehearsal dinners, corporate events and family gatherings.

This area is also completely surrounded by french doors one side offers looks of the neighborhood and the other of the restaurant, get the best of both worlds. This room can be used alone or in conjunction with the Atrium to increase seating by another 20-40 guest. Can be used as semi-private space for smaller events of 20 guest or under.

The patio has its own personal entrance, hanging flowers and brick floors. The flaps can be rolled up to enjoy the fresh air or pulled down. This room is temperature controlled even during our colder months. This makes is the perfect spot for happy hour cocktails, reception and mingling.
