Whino is a 6,500 square foot modern industrial art centric event space unlike anything in the DMV. Designed specifically for events our unique open plan allows for all types of configurations from smaller events of 50 up to 400 people. This modern open concept venue invites patrons to inhabit large-scale mural installations while enjoying craft cocktails, beer, wine and globally inspired social plates with three unique bars as well as the main space which seats over 100 people in one large high ceiling space.

We have a perfect spot for all Social Events at the bar. In this area there are 4 tables which can be grouped together with a very large space between the tables and the bar. These tables seat 12 and will have a dedicated server for it and can act as your home base as your other guests mingle standing up around the tables. There would be no Food and beverage minimums and no fees. Everyone can open up their own tab. That space holds up to 75 people

For groups of 50 or less we have a smaller space next to the retail area we can rope off for for semi private events. In this space we can do 50 standing or we can do 30 standing tables and seating for 10. This space has no food and beverage minimums.

At the back of the restaurant is the best spot in the venue with corner 16 foot high full height windows facing Wilson Blvd. This area has its own large bar which seats 19 as well as can accommodate 48 seated in the dining room for a total of 67 seats. For social events we can remove the tables as necessary and can accommodate up to 100 people. Food is served family style for dinners and buffet style for social events. The area will be roped off for your guests only.

You will have access to the tasting bar, main bar and the kitchen bar and can use each bar with different functions as you see fit. The dining room tables and chairs can be arranged as needed. Art gallery and retail space will be available for guests to experience. We have optional services available to make your event turnkey such as AV Equipment for rent, Vendors for services such as photography and photo booths as well as band and DJs of all genres.

For our groups which are 8-24 people we offer to put tables together for a dinner party. For parties of 14 or less you have the option of ordering a la carte or from our Prefix menu. For parties 14 or more please choose from our Prefix menu. Over 24 people we can accommodate by having two tables of 24 people each for a total of 48 people in two tables. Balloons and Cake allowed
