Built in 1856, The Lion House was and was the family home of Brigham Young, the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the first governor of the state of Utah. The home gets its name from the lion statue positioned over the front entryway. The rooms are decorated with heirloom furniture, making The Lion House a perfect setting for your event, combining the premier hospitality of our staff and the history and elegance of the Lion House. Tucked behind the Lion House and Beehive House, the Lion House Garden is a charming haven ideal for a secret garden event.
