La Lucha
An homage to Ford Fry’s childhood visits to the shuttered San Jacinto Inn, a longtime institution famous for over-the-top fried chicken and Gulf seafood dinners, La Lucha – “the fight” – references the Battle of San Jacinto and the somewhat rambunctious leanings of this indulgent neighborhood dinette. A charming, low-lit complement to the festive Superica next door, La Lucha’s comfortable atmosphere is conceived as a neighborhood living room, meshing timeless and industrial with a few nods to the 70s. Main Dining Room

A section of the Dining Room can be reserved with a preset menu for up to 20 guests. This area is centrally located within our tastefully appointed main dining room, incorporating a mix of antique church pew banquettes, zinc table tops, milky glass lighting, plus club and cane back dining chairs.
Full Restaurant Buyout

A private buyout of the restaurant will include: the entire dining room, bar, lounge and patio. We offer services for cocktails with passed or stationed hors d’oeuvres selections and reception style events for up to 150 guests. We can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated dinner or up to 100 guests for a seated dinner with a table and chair rental. For buyout events, a food and beverage minimum does apply and is based upon the day and time of the week.

Located outdoors under hanging lanterns and the boughs of a sprawling live oak, cocktail events in the Patio Space are available with preselected hors d’oeuvres for cocktail style events up to 25 guests or seated dinners for up to 20 guests. A food and beverage minimum does apply. Space is rain or shine.
